Ann Brashares has created a wonderful, heartfelt series for teens (and adults) around a pair of pants. In her breakout bestseller, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Brashares introduced readers to four girls, Lena, Bridget, Carmen, and Tibby, and to the magical pair of jeans that fit them all perfectly, and inspired them to live their young lives to the fullest. Forever in Blue, the fourth and final novel in the series, promises a dazzling finale--one "last glorious summer" for the four girls, and their fans. See a note from author Ann Brashares, below.--Daphne Durham
A Note from Ann Brashares

December 1, 2006
Dear Amazon Reader,
Well, here we are together again. If you are getting ready to read the fourth book, Forever in Blue, that means we've probably spent some time together. I hope you've enjoyed it. I know I have.
We don't know each other and we may never get to meet, but I feel like we are connected nonetheless. We've spent time with four fictional girls together. We've puzzled over their lives and their choices. We've rooted for them and sometimes felt annoyed by them. We've shared some hopes for them, I think, and in the process for ourselves.
So thank you for being part of the sisterhood with me. I have really appreciated your company along the way.
Happy reading,
Ann

Book Description
With unraveled embroidery and fraying hems, the Traveling Pants are back for one last, glorious summer.
Lena: Immerses herself in her painting and an intoxicating summer fling, fearing that the moment she forgets about Kostos will be the moment she sees him again.
Carmen: Falls under the spell of a sophisticated college friend for whom a theatrical role means everything and the heritage of the Pants means nothing.
Bridget: Joins a dig for an ancient city on the coast of Turkey and discovers that her archaeology professor is available in every way except one.
Tibby: Leaves behind someone she loves, wrongly believing he will stay where she has left him.
Join Ann Brashares's beloved sisterhood once again in a dazzling, fearless novel. It's a summer that will forever change the lives of Lena, Carmen, Bee, and Tibby, here and now, past and future, together and apart.
Book Description
As their lives take them in different directions, Lena, Tibby, Carmen, and Bridget discover many more things about themselves and the importance of their relationship with each other.

I liked the others better.......2007-08-10
This was the book made to tie up loose ends. Everyone came to a conclusion about their life and the pants. The whole thing was sort of boring. Yes I liked the book, but in a way everyone was the same as they started. I suppose the point of it was to show how they had grown up and still stayed the same. Maybe it was that there wasn't enough excitement or maybe it's that I'm tired now but i thought it wasn't as good as the other books.

Sisterhood.......2007-08-04
I have enjoyed this entire series...takes me back to my Judy Blume days. The girl in all of us can identify with these characters as they grow, change, and try to not lose themselves or each other in the process. The earlier on you learn that nothing means more than your girl friends...the better off you are! I think the quotes between the chapters are insightful, and I enjoy finding their relation to the story as I read on. That brings a literary aspect not often found in young adult novels. I appreciate that this book and its prequels can be light and real at the same time. A book about pants sounds like fluff, but you feel with these girls as they deal with real issues both internal and external. Real doesn't have to be dark...bittersweet seems more fitting. These books capture the laughter through tears that is what sisterhood is about. I highly recommend reading them all.
So Long Sisterhood.......2007-07-26
Although this wasn't my fave Sisterhood book, it deserves kudos for not only reflecting the maturity of the characters at this point in their lives, but also the realities of growing up and growing apart. This is the fourth and supposedly final chapter of the Sisterhood tomes, and is likely to provide a conclusive feeling for the readers of the series.
To recap, the Travelling Pants series details the summers four best friends spend, sometimes apart, sometimes together. They are of course, as per the legend, bonded together by a pair of 'magical' pants that give them the strength of the love they feel as friends even when they aren't together.
In all fairness I read the third book quite some time ago so reading the new fourth one was a bit of a cognitive leap - I could barely remember a lot of what happened in the past! Anyway in this one the girls are bridging the gap between their first and second year of university. They've actually shared the pants year-round this time because they have spent the year at different colleges etc. That should be your first clue something is up - the girls are very very much so a lot more individual characters this time around, which was both refreshing and problematic. Of the latter, it was good because I was sick and tired of how cheesy and overemphasized their relationship was - although some sappy moments still exist towards the end, they are certainly toned down. But in the absence of their friendship it almost defeated the purpose of the book, and the pants of course.
This time around the girls spend most of their summer apart. Tibby is still in New York working and taking a summer class and wondering whether she has made the right choices when it comes to her relationship with Brian. Bee (my fave as always) is in Turkey getting back to basics on an archeological dig site and wondering whether the best alternative to missing her boyfriend is not missing a single thing her hot professor does. Flamboyent Carmen has surprisingly shrunk into her shell over the last year, and fallen under the wing of a supposedly protective, glorious friend, who turns out to be anything but as their summer continues. Lena is at art school and enraptured with a guy, shockingly this time, not the love of her life, Kostos.
As I mentioned earlier, the book definitely took on a more mature tone than the others - most of it dealt with sex and relationships and very little of it focused on friendship and personal self-growth - although most of the storylines evolve to give the girls those girl power moments of epiphany. Although I enjoyed the storylines a lot more this time it almost felt like the characters were under-used and less developed because there was far less crossover opportunities given their summer was spent so far apart emotionally and physically.
Brashares does a good job wrapping up the series in a realistic way though - Upon finishing it, I realized why she decided to do a fourth (I completely assumed the third would be the last) as each book is kind of meant to represent each of the four girls.
All in all a fitting conclusion to the series that represented, quite honestly, the realities of growing up and moving away when it comes to those true blue friends you thought you'd never forget, and those true blue jeans you thought you'd never lose.
Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants).......2007-07-19
OMG!!! I loved every single one of the books preceding this book and this one hit the mark! It is so wonderful, and though it is so sad that it ends the series the finish is remarkable. Brashare's masterpiece is complete!!!
One too many.......2007-07-15
I thought the prime qualities of the first three books of this series were charm and innocence. For the fourth installment, one of our heroines poses nude for a male art student and another falls for a married man with children. Whatever other qualities the book may have, charming and innocent it is not.

This grandfather of all people-skills books was first published in 1937. It was an overnight hit, eventually selling 15 million copies. How to Win Friends and Influence People is just as useful today as it was when it was first published, because Dale Carnegie had an understanding of human nature that will never be outdated. Financial success, Carnegie believed, is due 15 percent to professional knowledge and 85 percent to "the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership, and to arouse enthusiasm among people." He teaches these skills through underlying principles of dealing with people so that they feel important and appreciated. He also emphasizes fundamental techniques for handling people without making them feel manipulated. Carnegie says you can make someone want to do what you want them to by seeing the situation from the other person's point of view and "arousing in the other person an eager want." You learn how to make people like you, win people over to your way of thinking, and change people without causing offense or arousing resentment. For instance, "let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers," and "talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person." Carnegie illustrates his points with anecdotes of historical figures, leaders of the business world, and everyday folks. --Joan Price

Life's a Stage..........2007-09-30
Wow..."A Reader" seems extraordinarily bitter...
Every day you go to work, you are on a "stage"...as in "It's show time, folks!" The working world is highly competitive, and a necessary tool to all but guarantee your success is deception. This book/author teaches the art of deception. Whether or not the reader chooses to use this information to his/her advantage is a matter of personal choice.
This book has a purpose, and successfully presents that purpose, hence the four-stars...
BORING.......2007-09-18
...I put the book down after 3 chapters, and haven't picked it back up since. Go with "7 Habits..." by Covey and/or "The Four Agreements" (Author skips my mind)
Impressive!.......2007-09-09
I finally can win many friends and influence people! Another bestseller that I recommend - How to be a Super Hot Woman: 339 Tips to Make Every Man Fall in Love with You and Every Woman Envy You
Interesting book.......2007-09-09
We dont realize that many people want the same things that we do.I purchased this book to become more social. I have learned more than I expected.
Great!.......2007-09-09
Timeless advice and a charismatic delivery make this book enjoyable and likely to be acted on and revisited throughout your life. It will open your eyes wider, and give affirmation to mankind. Some reviews are all rah-rah, but I find the book is at times gleefully manipulative and uses only the best examples of its principles in action -- there's no guarantee you will make that sale, or that person will become your friend -- but it is worthwhile information and certainly is inspiring. It's definitely worth the price, and if you order through Amazon, it was a five star shipment for me.
Book Description
The Autism Acceptance Book is an interactive, educational, and character-building book that introduces children to the challenges faced by people with autism while also supporting their personal journey toward appreciating and respecting people's differences.
This book offers educational information, conversation-starters, and engaging exercises that invite children to "walk in someone else's shoes" as they learn to treat others the same ways they would like to be treated themselves.
Customer Reviews:
Great for group and individual.......2007-09-09
I really like this book. I appreciate that it encourages the reader to find commonalities with a friend who has autism. It shows that people can be friends with those who have autism. I am an educator in my church and I plan to use this is children's small groups.
Great book to explain to family and friends.......2007-05-13
I have a son with Autism and this book helped my family understand many of the issues that my wife and I had been trying to explain for years. I actually have ordered 4 books!
A good overview of friendships and autism.......2007-04-11
This book was wonderful to share with my son's friends and classmates.
Best Group Lesson Plan.......2007-03-30
I recently took this book to my son's third grade classroom and spent an hour just talking with the kids about Autism. With this book as a guide, it was easy to clearly explain the symptoms of autism. The suggested portions of "walking in their shoes" provided a simple way for the kids to begin to understand what it might be like to have ASD.
The book provoked wonderful questions from the kids and referencing the book I was able to give understandable answers.
Even though we live with autism, it helped my third grader to better understand his brother. It is well written, well layed out and simple to follow. I'll be taking it to my daughter's pre-k classroom soon. It shows children that differences aren't scarry. They are just different.
I highly recommend this book.
not what we hoped--but still good.......2007-03-12
This is not a book so much for parents of children with ASD or for the child themselves. Rather it is an individual workbook for peers and classmates of children with Autism.

An excellent reference resource for anyone needing to learn effective writing skills, whether for college, business, or other areas.
Customer Reviews:
Very Helpful.......2006-03-16
I found this book to be very helpful in a number of areas. From developing a well written paper to using correct grammar, this book is it! It is easy to understand and uses a well thoughtout formula which is great for the novice. This book will be within easy reach for years to come.
merely adequate.......2001-01-30
every english major and writer should have a freshman comp handbook. this one is okay. it covers everything well enough.and if it weren't for the Little, Brown Handbook, i might suggest the Scott, Foresman Handbook. But the little brown handbook is by far superior, and i suggest that anyone interested in the scott foresman, or any other freshman comp handbook, check out the little brown before making a purchase.
Straightforward and Comprehensive.......2000-03-30
This book is aimed mostly at students and inexperienced writers. The subjects covered range from commonly-confused words to punctuation to creative inspiration to revision to research papers and business letters -- basically, everything. For students, there are sections on how to write for particular academic subjects.
As a general reference, this book has just about everything you'd need, although the sections on computerized research and word processing are a bit outdated. There is plenty of advice for people who need help with grammar or who are trying to make their writing less awkward and more effective. It is well-indexed, allowing you to quickly find answers and advice, which is good because plodding through the book sequentially (even with the help of the table of contents) would be very tedious.
It truly helps with reports for all grades.......1999-10-08
Hey guys, If your not sure this book will help you. I am telling you it will. I had a English course in college,it was required for class. Although, I would usually return my books, I kept this one. It has helped me during the course of my college years. In addition, it helps my sibling who is in high school. This book will help with any English problem you may be having.
Excellent college writing handbook.......1999-09-23
I'm an English instructor at Ohio State University. I chose this handbook above others (The Everyday Writer, The New St. Martin's Handbook) because it not only contains the usual grammar and style points in straightforward language, but also covers issues such as preparing to write, writing good arguments, avoiding argumentative fallacies, and how to respond to other people's written drafts in constructive ways. It's great to use as an instructional text because it comes with questions and exercises on the various sections. It's up-to-date about using visuals in texts, and using the web to research, and authoring websites. I'm using it for the first time to teach Sept-Dec 99, and I'll write back afterwards with a review of how successful it was and whether students liked it or not.

Book Description
Friends and life. Life and friends. The two are so tightly interwoven it's impossible to imagine one being remotely worthwhile without the other. As Bradley Trevor Greive points out, "There are very few truly solitary creatures on this planet. And most of them have serious personal hygiene issues." What makes friends so special? What does our choice of friends say about us? What sparks the best friendships and keeps them burning? In Friends to the End: The True Value of Friendship, BTG uses his trademark witty narrative illustrated with irresistible animal photos to explore the daily magic we experience through our friends. Best described as a cross between his famously successful Dear Mom and The Blue Day Book, Friends to the End examines themes such as why we can't live without friends, how great friendships grow from humble beginnings, how to identify different types of friendship, what to do when good friends turn bad, and why it's all so worthwhile. "When I think back to all the really great or the horrendously bad times in my life," says BTG, "I can't help but think about how my friends made the former all the more enjoyable and the latter at least survivable. I want this book to help people appreciate friendship for all it is and all it can be."Friends to the End promises to have the same cultural impact achieved by his previous books. His modern classics The Blue Day Book and Dear Mom have been New York Times best-sellers and made the author a household name in more than 35 countries. BTG's seven previous volumes have sold more than seven million copies worldwide.

Being An Alpha ain't That Great.......2007-08-17
As Alicia stages her take over to become an alpha, her and her BFF, Massie drift apart and the two find themselves in a raging, war of who has the better hold on their Clique. This book tells an amazing story of what a clique can do to crush you if you get in their way. After this book I was definitely hooked to the Clique series.
Best Friends for Never .......2007-05-23
Best Friends for Never is the best book I have ever read! The clique in this book consists of four girls, Massie, the clique leader, Alicia, who trys to be independent, Dylan, the weight watcher, and Kristen, who competes for guys. Then there is Claire. She wants to be in, but she is still out of the clique, at least for now. The school has a uniform competition to decide what the uniform will lood like. Will Kristen betray her best friends just to win the competition? Will she break away from the clique? Find out when you read Best Friends for Never

This book is the sequel to the Clique. In this book, Massie finds out that a girl from school is hosting the FIRST "girl-boy party". Massie wants to be the girl that people remember, so Massie hosts the first "girl-boy party" before the other girl does. At the party things didn't go too well with the 4 best friends. Alicia started hanging out with a girl named Olivia. Kirsten and Dylan were fighting over a boy who didn't like either of them. Then Massie was just stuck in the middle of it. After the party Alicia didn't hang out with the other three girls anymore, and the girls started to hate her. I thought this was a good book because it kept you interested the whole time, and I can always relate to all of the girls!
Book review.......2007-03-30
Massie Block is the most popular seventh grader at OCD and to prove it she throws the first boy/girl Halloween party even if it was somebody else's idea. However, her parents are making her throw the party with the wannabe new girl, Claire, from Orlando that is staying in her guesthouse. Also, they are making her invite the entire seventh grade! The story starts off with Claire and Massie making a bet, Massie can't go shopping and Clair can't were the same outfit twice. After Massie and her three popular best friends Dylan, Kristen, and Alicia find their costumes, Massie wears the Dirty Devil Halloween costume to school on Halloween, and brings Dylan's, Alicia's and Kristen's for them to change into but purposely forgets Claries. After everyone saw there costumes they wanted to be just like them, so also cut there shirts and wore short skirts. However, the principal was furious and decided the school needed uniforms. Massie suggests to the fashion teacher that the school holds a design contest and who ever has the best idea will be the uniform designer. Dylan decides to ditch the clique and work on the project with her new friend Olivia. After the contest is held, both there groups end up being the final two. The results are announced and Dylan's team wins. Massie noticed that the nametags had been switched and really they had won. She decides to do nothing about it and wait for the right moment to get back at her. "Best Friends for Never" by Lisi Harrison is an excellent book I would definitely recommend!
One of the reasons I would recommend this novel is because it deals with real life situations that typical middle school kids face everyday such as friend ship, popularity, and crushes. For example Clair is having a hard time fitting in after just moving also the characters faces difficult events like when Kirsten and Dylan like the same guy and Massie and Clair make a bet.
Another reason enjoyed this book was because it taught the reader to keep your friends close. At the party, Dylan made a new friend Olivia and hung with her ever since. The pretty committee, as several people at school called them, always had a sleepover every Friday. One Friday Dylan said she needed to hang out with Olivia so they could finish their uniform designs. Nobody had missed the sleepover in over a year, and the Clique has very angered that she ditched them. Clair also almost became part of the group and decided to ditch her first real and true friend she had met and OCD, Layne Abelby.
Another reason I liked this book was because it was hilarious! One of the funniest parts was when Todd, Clair's little brother who is only ten, started to have a crush on Massie. He always talked about how she was his baby and the most beautiful girl in the world. It was also funny how Todd was the one who stole Massie's first kiss when she was hoping it would be Cam Fisher who secretly liked Clair. The Girls also do mean and funny things to humiliate one another all the time. Massie always has rude but unique comebacks to say to people especially Clair.
Best Friends for Never is an excellent well written novel that I would highly recommend. They will want to keep reading to see what dramatic event happens next to Massie and the rest of her friends! If you want a book about sneaky plans and how some girls will do anything to become popular I would defiantly recommend this novel.

Book Description
Created as a coloring book with a surprising educational twist, My Friend with Autism actually is written for anyone who comes in contact with an autistic child, including young classmates, neighbors, church members, and professionals. The book explains in two ways what autism is and how the behavior of autistic children can be different: children enjoy the coloring book which is packed with the message; others will find the "Notes for Adults" in the back of the book thought-provoking and a succinct definition of the autism spectrum. Teachers will discover this book invaluable because of its capability to foster integration of autistic children into the student group.

Helps young children understand their peers with autism........2006-11-10
I gave this book to my sons first grade teacher. He is the only child with autism in his class. She read the book to the class and it really helped them understand what my son deals with throughout his day. They are so helpful. After hearing the story and watching the behavior therapists with my son, they have all become little future ABA therapists - very cute. Children at this age seem to want to understand autism and learn how they can help. This book explains what it feels like to have autism in a very child-friendly format.
Great book for kids!.......2006-06-28
This is a fabulous book on autism acceptance. This is great for teachers or parents that want their kids to better understand someone that is "different" than the others. It is well written and really presents a creative way of introducing Autism and other spectrum disorders to kids.
Must have........2006-05-09
I purchased this book after reading the reviews. Our seven year old son is on the Autism Spectrum and his daycare friends had lots of questions about his behaviors and his limited language skills. I brought this book in for the teacher to read. The comment from the teacher was "They got it."
The Best book for Kids to Understand.......2006-03-21
I bought this book for my sons K-1 class. The book explains what autism is on a level for young children to understand and the kids loved the coloring aspect of it. His teacher loved the adult explainations of each page. My 8 year old borrowed the book to read to his 2nd grade class so that they could understand his brother! I read this book to my Introdution to Early Childhood class and my teacher agreed, this book should be purchased. I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone whose child is going into a different learning environment.
My Friend with Autism.......2005-11-07
I have been working with children on the spectrum as both a teacher and behavioral counselor for 7 years. I have also served on the Board of Directors for our local ASA Chapter group. This book does an incredible job of explaining ASD to ANYONE. I feel great frustration when people say "Oh you mean you work with kids like Rain Man right?" It is at times very difficult to explain the little things involved in ASD. Simply pull this book out and read it to an adult! It does a great job of breaking things down to express the most important details of Autism. Most importantly it sheds a positive light on the characteristics that are viewed so negatively by the public. PLEASE PLEASE BUY THIS BOOK!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
Book Description
Middle school is all about change. In the opening section, girls take a quiz to determine how they respond to change, then receive tips on how to cope with the big changes that they're getting ready to face as they start middle school- switching classes, getting up earlier, and having their own lockers, all while learning to manage a new school, new teachers, new friends, and LOTS more homework and activities! The secret to feeling more confident as she starts middle school is having a little insight into what to expect. This book provides that information as well as "Smart Girl's tips" from girls who have already made the grade in the big school.

Not that great... :(.......2007-10-03
I got this book from the library, because even though I'm homeschooled, I was hoping it might give me tips on studying for tests doing homework, and other such things. The only thing in there I didn't really know before was how to place things in your backpack to make it not so heavy. And their schedule for getting ready in the morning was not bad either. Also, the "After School" section, gave you pretty good advice on tryouts and how much is too much activities. But being as to how that's just about two thirds of the book I'd say it's not worth your money. Also they make middle school sound scarier than I think it really is. For example, they said "Picture yourself having a good time in middle school." They make it sound like you're going to a different country! So overall, you might get it at the library, but I wouldn't buy it.
Smart Giirls Guide.......2007-10-03
My daughter started middle school this year and has read this book from cover to cover at least 5 times. She has always liked American Girl books and I don't have to worry about her reading inappropriate material. Highly recommend for any girl starting middle school.
Another American Girl Success.......2007-01-12
My daughter will be entering middle school next year. As far as books go, this one will help her more than any other I've seen. Every book in this series has been a hit and this one is no exception.
Not that helpful.......2007-01-02
My eleven year old daughter and i read it. It was not that helpful. Everything in there she already knew. I recomend it if you were homeschooled but otherwise it's not that great.
This Book Was So Great!!!!!!!!.......2006-08-27
This book was so great!!!! When I first got this book I didn't know squat, but ever since I got this book middle school doesn't seem that much scary to me anymore. So if your starting middle school then you should buy this book, also if you in 7th, 8th, and even beyond use this book for help throughout your school years!

Frog and Toad agreed: it was a perfect day for a swim. And Frog was kind enough not to look at Toad in his bathing suit, per Toad's request. But when the swimming was over, a crowd had gathered to see Toad in his funny-looking suit, and neither Frog nor Toad could make them leave.
The endearing pair hop along through five enchanting stories, looking for lost buttons, greeting the spring, and waiting for mail. Their genuine care for each other makes Frog and Toad two of the finest amphibious role models around. Young readers will chuckle with Frog as they watch Toad's silly efforts to make up a story. And they will applaud Toad as he finally wakes up after hibernating all winter. The fifth story will warm the hearts of any would-be pen pal--or anyone who has ever known what it's like to have a true-blue (or green) friend.
Arnold Lobel's comfortable brown and green illustrations invite and delight every reader, setting the tone for warm, funny stories about friendship. A Caldecott Honor Book and finalist for the National Book Award for Children's Literature, this installment of Lobel's classic Frog and Toad series is another essential addition to any youngster's shelf. If you need even more of Frog and Toad, don't miss Frog and Toad Together, Frog and Toad All Year, and Days with Frog and Toad. (Ages 4 to 8) --Emilie Coulter

needy public school teacher.......2007-09-08
The books were in excellent condition and arrived earlier than expected. I had checked all local used bookstores. They were not available because of the high demand in our district. Similar books were the same price as Amazon's including shipment. I will not be going to used bookstores again. Amazon saved me time, money & gas!
Great start to a fine series.......2007-04-10
The perfect book to start your beginning reader off on and a must have for amphibian lovers of all ages, these stories are beautifully illustrated and each holds the key to a simple truth. Chiefly about friendship, Frog and Toad are able to make the best of their situations by accepting and utilizing each other's differences. The simple prose flows across the artful pages, and after reading this first one your child is sure to want them all.

Arthur Lobel is still one of the BEST for kids..........2007-04-02
Great illustrations, simply written, and always teaches a good lesson.
Wonderful to read and share with your children or grandchildren.
hilarious.......2007-03-06
I just finished reading this story to my 4 year old daughter and I have to say I was crying from laughing so hard. The stories are very amusing and easy to read and follow. They will be your childs new favorite for sure! I came back online to order more from the series.
Good for reading and discussion.......2006-12-21
This easy to read book presents stories with basic truths similar to fables but there is no stated moral. It is helpful for children to be reminded of acceptance and friendship among characters who have individual differences. Frog is usually cheerful, comforting, and helpful. He is understanding of Toad who is not as creative and is a bit self-conscious and not as outgoing. Parents and teachers can use the book for insightful discussions.

Chewable book helps baby develop "appetite" for reading.......2007-08-25
I bought this book for my newborn because I wanted her to grow up loving to read. When she was a few months old, she loved to chew on the soft cloth pages and stare at the brightly colored pictures. Then she learned how to turn the pages. Now at 10 months, she still loves to touch the 3-D part of each page and hear me read the simple rhymes.
We love all of the different objects and textures that she can touch and explore on each page:
1) Padded aqua turtle shell
2) Shiny metallic fish
3) Ribbon used as water from a whale spout
4) Padded pink vinyl crab shell
5) Silver seahorse fin
6) Green felt octopus tentacles
7) Pink oyster shell with satin inner lining
8) Terry cloth seahorse
9) Metallic seaweed rolls
This crinkly cloth book is easy for babies to hold and great for teething. It also keeps little hands busy during car rides. Although the manufacturer recommends surface cleaning only, I've successfully washed mine inside a mesh lingerie bag on the gentle cycle. And it still looks new...
good first book.......2007-08-07
It has bright colors to attract the babies. the wordings are simple and rhyme well. my daughter loves looking at it since the age of 2 month old.
Keeps my baby's interest but has clumsy text.......2007-07-06
My daughter loves this book, it's her favorite of the Priddy cloth books. This one has enough crinkle noises and tactile items to keep her baby hands busy -it keeps her occupied for a good stretch of time. My only complaint (as with all the Priddy cloth books) is that the the actual text and rhymes have a lot to be desired. It just seems forced to make the rhyme and meter work - it ends up very clumsy. I rarely read it now as she's just very interested in holding and playing with the pages.
Awesome kids book.......2007-05-09
This book is very fun with all sorts of colors and textures. My son loves to look at it and feel the different things. It has just the right amount of words too. I own three Roger Priddy books and I am VERY happy with all of them.
Great book!.......2007-04-13
I got this for my son, who's now 14 months, when he was about 7 or 8 months old. He still loves playing with it. The pages are easy to turn and the different fabrics still fascinate him. We have this book and the Fuzzy Bee and Friends cloth book, which he still plays with, too!Fuzzy Bee and Friends (Cloth Books)
