These cards have a wonderful vibration, all very inspiring, uplifting, encouraging. However, they are not without depth; they are more than just "sweetness and light." There is a suggestion that they can be used in combination with other kinds of Tarot (that can carry the darker undercurrents--necessary energies to be aware of in their own right), and I find there is a good balance that way.

I bought this deck to learn more about the Ascended Masters and to begin to work with their energies.
I was actually very surprised to see that world deities are considered ascended masters, along with New Age figures such as El Morya, Saint-Germain and others. In fact, the world deities make up most of the deck. My one complaint is that I actually would have liked the inclusion of more of the specifically "New Age" Ascensionist Masters (I realize many deities have become central Ascended Masters in the Ascension movement, such as Kuan Yin and Buddha, and would not have minded them being included), and seen the world deities go into a completely seperate deck. I was a little dissapointed, because I really did want to learn more about them through this oracle.
Other than that, I love this deck! Like her Goddess Oracle, I found the readings to be extremely accurate right from the get-go. I use these cards along with the Goddess Oracle to get an extremely well-balanced reading - in the accompanying book it gives a very simple method for using multiple oracle decks for one reading, which I recommend everyone give a try.
I would love to see an "expansion pack"-type deck for this one made that focuses more specifically on the New Age Ascended Masters, including the more intergalactic figures such as Ashtar. I feel I could really learn alot from such a product, and that was the original intent of purchasing this one. However, as a lover of world spirituality, it was fun to see many familiar faces in this deck, and to be able to to incorporate that wisdom into my readings and meditation.

I bought this deck to add to my collection of Doreen's cards. I have them all. These are as beautiful as the rest, I especially love the gold edges, however there are too many of the same cards from previous decks. The artwork is different but it's pretty much the same meanings. I was hoping for something new in this deck and it just doesn't have it. Even so, I will continue to buy Doreen's cards because I love the artwork in them and the positive inspirations.

I highly recommend these cards as they are accurate, really beautiful and I felt a peaceful beautiful energy while using them. DV gives thorough instructions on how to use the deck and make the most of your readings. I saw the wonderful reviews on Amazon, knowing nothing about mermaids and dolphins, but decided to buy the deck, as it was one of her most popular. As someone stated before, I too am a card fanatic. My excuse is that I need a wide variety of cards for my readings which is true, but I probably have over done it since I own close to 25 different sets. Anyway I recently bought this set after reading reviews and giving it some thought. I didn't want to buy this set at first because I didn't really know anything about mermaids and honestly, I thought they looked child-like, however I am a big Doreen Virtue fan and decided I'd go for it. After spending a little time with the cards, I found them to be quite accurate. To me, some of the card meanings are general and redundant, but I still find them to be helpful and accurate! It's a nice set!

Ok I admit it, I'm a oracle card junkie. I have probably about 10 different sets or types of oracle/tarot cards if not more. 3 of them are from the Doreen Virtue Collection. This set, the Magical Unicorn set and Healing with Fairies deck. Admittedly there is little variation with regards to card meanings but it doesn't stop me from appreciating any of them any less. The fact is that some people may be attracted to Angel Cards, others may feel an affinity for Mermaids and yet others a love for Unicorns. So while you may not want to buy Doreen's whole collection of card decks she offers enough of a variety that one will surely find something that meets your interest. Then perhaps move on to different line to mix things up a bit.

...I am a great Doreen Virtue fan on the whole, but I simply can't help thinking that she is simply regurgitating all the information and thoughts and insights we have heard before, in this pack. For me it is a case of re-packaging what has already been said a million times. The pictures are sweet enough, and very colourful, but I would stick to some of her other cards like the Archangel cards...I feel Doreen has simply thought
" Hmmm what mystical icon can I put on this new set to re-sell as something new ". I am cynical, but can't help thinking she is laughing all the way up her beautifully tailored sleeve as she checks her bank account.

I enjoyed Janet Boyer's review of this deck which has my agreement fully.I have 3 Angel decks by Dr. Doreen Virtue with good purposes professionally.I use the Healing for normal reversed cards bail-outs;Saints/Angels for those who I sense need Saints also; and Archangels when I need to import more strength to the readings of 78 card decks. This includes my use in Angel Readings as well. I highly recommend Doreen Virtue's cards. I recently purchased my fourth set of Archangel Oracle cards. I kept one for myself and gave the other three as gifts. These cards are right to the point and correct. They have been a big help in my life, an answer to many prayers for me. I was first introduced to "Messages from My Angels", also a Doreen Virtue issue as a gift from my dear friend. It is amazing as to the messages, whether you are asking about what path to follow with a loved one you are having difficulty with or even an everyday question. These are a must have and they are so true to life! You will know your Angels are guiding you! I start out my day using these cards!

Beautiful artwork and lovely colors. Great for when you are going through a stressful time. I always seem to draw just the "right" card when I need a lift. I was insired to buy this deck after a very personal experience to which I will not go into detail. I've had had several problems prior to buying this deck, and while they have not all dissapeared, the emotional pain from them is not quite as bad since I've been using these cards.
Out of Doreen Virtue's 9 Decks of Oracle Cards that are currently published, I have eight. This deck is not the prettiest, nor does it have golden edges, or the most beautiful pictures. BUT, it is the most helpful by far for me.
For those who believe in angels and their role as gaurdians and helpers to the people on earth, this is a great deck. It always gives the right guidance needed, and even when you can't think of a question to ask, just shuffling the cards brings about a calming effect.
There are 15 Archangels featured in this deck, each angel with three cards. Every card has a differant picture of the angel as well as a general theme and a little message. In the book, there are additional inspiring messages as well as information about each angel, which helps in getting to know them better.
(Also, this deck works well with Doreen Virue's Angel Guidance Board, as that too centers itself on the Archangels.)

I recieved this amazing hardcover book from ebay when I bid on an auction for a tarot book. The auction had no picture or title of the book, but it was like .99 including shipping. I'm so happy I took a chance! I liked the diffrent divination meanings, I thought them original, not "strange". I like the ideas for workings, medititations, etc., that are listed for every card. I haven't bought the deck itself yet, but I can't wait until I do!
A very confusing deck.......2007-02-01
I will say I do not hate this deck- its art is beautiful, but I've never had a more impractical and confusing (and just plain confused) deck in my collection.
The cards are oversized- a problem for handling and shuffling; and shuffling is further complicated by the rigid stock of the card. Expect to have to do some careful bending and shifting of cards well before ever shuffling them to make them supple and not prone to tearing midshuffle.
And now...the confused part. This deck cannot seem to decide if it wants to be a Thoth, a Rider-Waite...or a playing card deck. I am well aware of the occasional swapping out of suites among the cards (wands/rods, coins/pentacles and so on)- but this is the first time I've seen someone opt to substitute the cups with hearts in what is intended as a divination deck.
Now, in the art content itself...the images are fantastical and certainly lovely to the eye- but they have almost nothing to do with the actual card meaning. Still more seem to draw inspiration from the Waite style decks, others are using what's plainly Thoth inspired imagery...and others are just..art.
The book is nicely bound but ultimately useless for divination. This follows the trend of ignoring reversed cards, and even its given meanings of upright cards are...strange at best. People have spoken of this deck honestly being intended more for working tarot spells than divination: they're right. The attending book is pretty much all about the spells some use for tarot or inspired by the tarot.
It deserves to be noted that this set also comes with no box or bag for the cards, and the one it is shipped in is useless for storing a fully assembled deck in. If you wish to purchase this, you may want to buy a bag to go with it.
If you're new to tarot or you're looking for a good divination deck: I advise you heavily to find another deck. If you're looking for beautiful art and a very unusual piece of work to add to a novelty collection: by all means, this is very much your deck. You'll be hard pressed to find another like it.

I am very disappointed with the cards. They are too large and too slippery. I cannot adequately shuffle them. Being a petite person, my hands are small and I can't shuffle the cards in the normal conventional way. I have to shuffle them from the side or else they flip all over the place. I also think that the cards and/or book should have a realistic picture of the stones that they represent. The book itself is written well and very informative.

It doesn't seem like many people know about these cards but a lot more people really should. I started working with these cards the other day
and they truely are amazing. They release the most healing energy I have ever felt when working with an oracle set and I am very happy to have found them.
It comes with a medium size book that gives a very nice detailed description of the crystal on the card as well as meaning of each card. So about 3 pages in the book are dedeciated to each card in the deck. The book is 275 pgs long.
The cards themselves are oversized which makes shuffling a tad bit ackward but the images on the cards more then make up for this small issue.
Brief Card Examples: Crystal - Sugilite for Dreams - It's purpose is to aid in remembering one's divine purpose and stimulates your crown chakra. The message behind this card if you pull it for a reading is to trust in your divine purpose and follow your heart's dream.
Crystal - Moldavite for Transformation - It's purpose is to realize that a time of drastic growth and changes are upcoming in the next couple of months. In a reading it means that in the upcoming months situations in your life are about to change if it does not serve your growth.
(This was one of the cards I pulled and it gives me chills every time I look at it cause it falls in line with other readings I've done for myself.)
So if your looking for a deck that will help you heal and change your vibrations look no further this is a deck that you definately must add to your collection!!!

This is an excellent tool for developing intuition, establishing a good rapport with the Mineral Kingdom, and learning how to heal yourself. Even if you never develop proficiency with the cards, the book is worth the investment. It contains an introduction to Naisha's Crystal Resonance Therapy, which is a valuable method for working with healing and personal growth.
Naisha is very in touch with the crystal allies; her methods are very useful, and the insight and symbolism found on every card are powerful messages about each crystal. Every card, with the exception of the Elements, has an associated affirmation that may be used to help bring the influence of the crystal's message into our lives. These cards are amazing!

Doreen Virtue is aptly named - she is sweet earth angel whose work and words have helped thousands connect with their heavenly helpers. All of work is divinely inspired but this deck seems to take guidance to a whole new level. I talk to angels for a living and so I haven't used a deck in my sessions in years - until this one came along. It is so completely accurate that I often have clients choose a card after I finish sharing their angels' information with them and without exception the card validates the information we've just discussed. I use the deck personally to help validate my own assessments in my own life.

This oracle card set is really great. I have two of Doreen's card sets: This one and Messages from your Angels. This one however is far more accturate, and I find the readings very helpful. It's great to use in the morning, and by choosing one card to carry with you during the day, it's a good way of remembering your angels are watching over you, and the message they want you to have. I highly reconmend this set!

This deck (with accompanying guidebook) is designed to help activate and strengthen your sixth sense, your psychic voice. In it, you will find 52 cards, each one a tool for deepening your connection to God, your Higher Self, angels, spirit guides, and helpers from the other side.
There are several ways to use the deck. I've been using different set of tarot cards for years. Now these Oracle Cards are in my hands. They are very usefull and presise - buy them and use them for troubleshooting - the drawings are full of symbols.

This deck corresponds to the books of the same name. They are very helpful and useful in every day guidance. If anything it is great to have them when you need assurance that you are picking up something accurate. The illustration is not as pretty as Choquette's other two decks but the cards are very valuable.
A note about Sonia: She does intensive training with these three decks at a spa in Illinois for $4000 for a weekend. So if you have all three and want further study it will cost you. And psychic training with Sonia is at $3200 plus travel and lodging so be warned ... this is one very expensive soul teacher. If you do get a personal consultation with her, and you hear you are psychic, to do The Hoffman Process, Artist's Way, Mindful Loving, and that you are a sensitive psychic in need of training, should be doing readings for people, need to excercise to align your body with your higher intentions, shouldn't look for a knight on a white horse in love, how your last relationship was karmic past life, don't worry ... she tells everyone that.

I received these cards in the mail yesterday; they are lovely cards to not only look at but work with. Usually I might have to shuffle the cards for a day or two in order to work my energy into them but my connection to these cards was immediate. After about 15 mins of shuffeling cards fell out of the deck as is customary for me when I work with any deck of cards. The cards were consistant as in the same 2 or 3 cards fell out the couple of times I worked with the deck last night. I would say that the messages were accurate to my abilities and what I need to focus on. My thought on these cards is that this deck would make an easy connection with anyone intending to use them. They may very well become one of your favorite decks to work with.

If used consistenly, you will see patterns forming that will indicate areas that need extra special attention. This "Zen Cards" deck by Daniel Levin is an easy way to familiarize yourself with the ideas/thoughts/beliefs related to Zen Buddhism, as well as a fun, creative way to remind yourself of how to put these ideas into practice.
Each card has a theme written on the front (such as "Concentration", "Contentment", "Right Thought", "Peace", etc...), and then a description of how this idea can be put into practice is written on the back.
The cards are of excellent quality - each one is relatively thick & lamenated, so they will not fold & crease too easily. Also, the cards come inside a "gift-quality" flip-top box.
The cards can be used in a variety of ways, but I plan to pull out a card once every few days, read it, and then ponder the meaning of that particular card before moving on to the next one.
Overall, I've found these cards to be beautiful, insightful & thought-provoking. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in Zen Buddhism.

Zen Cards by Daniel Levin is a beautifully simple and calming deck. There are 50 individual cards in 5 colors: purple, brick red, olive green, teal, and lime green. The first thing that struck me about this deck, however, was the delightful box in which the cards sit: the top of the box flips up, so the cards are easily accessible. The box is of Asian design with a sturdy construction.
Zen has become a popular topic in the modern world, largely for its simplicity and profound wisdsom. These 50 cards have a lovely Oriental-like font, and each card has a topic written on one side, and a saying on the other. For example, one card is called Zen Mind which says "Experience all things with the enthusiasm of a child, as if you were seeing it for the first time. This is the Zen mind. Always new, always aware, always that of a beginner." Another is Harmony which says "Restore harmony. Create peace in all situations. Rather than pushing the river, flow with it." Yet another card is called Harmlessness which says "All beings fear violence. All beings fear pain. When you see yourself in all your brothers and sisters, then how can you bring harm to them?" Other topics include Balance, Sincerity, Joy, and Stillness.
I have the box of Zen Cards sitting on my desk. Every night before I go to bed, I shuffle the deck and pick a card. I find the words very calming and centering--almost as if the simple and profound message on each card serves as a light breeze that blows away any tension, confusion, or anxiety.
You could use this deck as an oracle when seeking guidance or for meditation and encouragment. Perhaps when picking a card a day, you could tape it to your bathroom mirror or computer monitor--reminding you everytime you look at it of the profound simplicity and peace that is Zen.

I saw these cards while vacationing in Hawaii, and bought them with the idea of using them at work to ease stress. I read a couple each day, trying to absorb their meaning. Also, the cards are well-designed, and the calligraphy is very attractive.

find a card. put it in a place that catches your eye throughout the day. each time you see the card, mentally practice the quality on it.
give one to a friend. have them do the same. send one in every card or letter you write. making your note a bit more personal.
have fun, be creative. some people close their eyes and ask a question, then pick a card. using it as an oracle. this is not the way i wrote them, but that is not important. what is important is that you make them your own. find the way . . . .they speak to you. and use them.

Pretty Cards But No Instructions Leads to Confusion.......2001-10-20
I got a set of these cards and they are beautifully done but the lack of directions leaves me stymied.

I have several decks of oracles cards, and this one is really impressive. It is for good reason that Sonia calls these her "big guns" -I am continually amazed how the cards I choose reflect the heart of what ever is happening for me at the time.
The Best of the 3 Choquette Decks.......2007-03-23
This is the best of the three Choquette decks, with Ask Your Guides coming in at second, because the images in these card are the most positive and the lessons are simple but profound. Most of the cards are very pretty and have a clear message for the every day. The booklet is easy to read and well written to get the lesson fast so you move on swifter while keeping your vibrations high.
A note on Choquette as a world soul teacher: If you want to learn to master her three decks you can pay $4000 to train at a spa in Chicago.
However, on her radio shows, Sonia constantly tells people they are psychic so they will train with her at $3500 for level 1 and 2 at a spa resort in Illinois. She charges $800/hour for personal readings but why is it that a lot of people whom I know who have read her are often told the same thing? Her response is that she attracts a soul group. Everyone is told to do The Artist's Way, that they are psychic, to read Mindful Loving, to do The Hoffman Process (which she is on the board of advisors - maybe she gets a kickback or something), come to her workshops (of course, more money for her), and she recommended to a listener to do alternative medicine... such as homeopathy which has been proven to have ZERO ingredients to be of effectiveness.
If you don't believe me do your own research ... and just listen to her radio show ... the same things over and over again is a pattern of messaging that is too obvious if you go through the archives carefully of her shows.

This is what I needed to help clarify some things in my life. You must believe in her philosophy of being able to talk to your guides. I truely believe that they are with us and we must get to a higher plane to communicate with them. The cards are a place to start.

This is an excellent book of fortune telling. I have used this game for quite a few years now and have found it to be quite accurate. I would personally recommend this game to anyone remotley interested in this subject. Believe me it is uncanny in it's messages.

We've had a copy of Gong Hee Fot Choy (several copies!) since we were kids - probably around 50+ years or so. My latest copy is worn out(35 yrs old)so it needs replacing - and updating - how many of us get our good or bad news by radio or telegram these days!

Within four days of my doing a reading for myself,six predictions came true! This book was reprinted under the title "Gong Hee Fot Choy Tells Your Fortune." The reprint is out of print but is better organized than this book.It's the same info, just a different title and organized so you don't have to go flipping through pages as much.If you can't find the reprint with the gameboard, buy this book. It's the exact same info and it works!
