Book Description
First in a trilogy that crosses the boundaries of erotic fiction-from the bestselling author of Megan's Mark.
Too weak to resist young Kelly Benton's attempts at seduction, Rowdy Mackay left home eight years ago. Duty as a U.S. Marine put a safe distance between temptation and the nubile Kentucky vixen. Now he's back home and ready to engage in the kind of erotic games that have earned him and his two cousins a Nauti-boy reputation in three counties.
Once it was Kelly's dream too-to feel the heat of the boy she desired. But an attack from a stalker still on the prowl has left Kelly terrified of a man's touch. Now as fear and desire converge, Rowdy fights to save her from the deadly threats of a stranger, to rid her of her demons, and to satisfy a hunger more powerful than either can imagine.

Well...........2007-09-03
I guess it wasn't toooo bad. I mean I wanted to give this a 3.5 instead. I felt as if the characters are kind of lacking. The plot is there but the characters were weak. I read this after finishing Forbidden Pleasure so yes I was a little disappointed. However, the excerpt for Dawg's book sounds pretty exciting and Natches! Can't wait to read his story.
So because this is Lora Leigh, author of Forbidden pleasure, I'll give her another try.
not that great.......2007-07-26
its okay- i think i am over lora leigh and the threesome aspect of it all. and her being sexually traumatized didnt come off that true or realistic at all. i think this will be my last lora leigh book for awhile.
A Sexy read.......2007-06-25
Rowdy Mackay has been in love with Kelly Benton long before he should be. So to advoid problems Rowdy joins the Marines and leaves for eight years. Right before he comes home Kelly is attacked, which make her afraid of a man's touch even Rowdy's. But now Rowdy is home but the danger is still near.
"Nauti Boy" is the lastest book by Lora Leigh and I really liked it. Ms. Leigh gives the reader a real plot line and not just mindless sex and while some say it is not as good as her "August Books" I really liked it and can't wait for the next book in the series.
Nauti Hottie.......2007-05-23
This is a great book about the first of three cousins that live a naughty lifestyle. Rowdy returns home from the service to finally be with Kelly only to find her being terrorized by a psycho. Rowdy and his naughty cousins Dawg and Natches set out to capture the stalker. Along the way Rowdy finally gets together with Kelly and they have to decide whether or not they are going to share intimacies with his cousins. The cousins always share women but suddenly Rowdy doesn't know if he wants to share Kelly and Kelly has to decide if she can handle all three.
Can't wait for the other stories to come out. This book is not for people looking for a nice sweet romance.
Hotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.......2007-05-12
I really enjoyed this book. It had story and lot of really steamy scenes.I enjoy all of Lora Leigh books and look forward to the next in the trilogy!

Customer Reviews:
Great Trilogy.......2007-09-16
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the two preceding books in the series. It was hard to wait to read the next book. I was able to really connect with this story and found it very interesting.
Super Reader.......2007-08-31
A pretty average and very light fantasy. It seems a group of vampire hunters from our world have gone to another to help a queen fight an evil vampire queen. Including a vampire nightclub owner, and a couple of other supernatural types.
For a war against an evil vampire queen, well, there really isn't much war. The evil vampire queen is pretty lame, too. Probably because she is a crazy girl that became a vampire, not really Lilith.
The battle at the end is over in about two eyeblinks. Pretty much it seems all this is kept out of it to have space for the romance parts.
Other than that, Roberts seems to be a decent enough writer, but I doubt she grew up reading about medieval warfare or monsters.
I wish it wasn't over.............2007-07-26
As I read the last few pages this afternoon I was caught in a bittersweet battle of not wanting the story to end and yearning to read the finale. What a great book and a great trilogy.
With the complex nature and background of Cian I would love to read about his journey through his life of being "damned" and his transition into "normal" society. I think we need some more of him. What an amazing character.
Trilogies Rock.......2007-07-19
Nora Roberts is the best a trilogies. They all have a good ending but you cant wait to read the next one. This book will hook you.
poorly read.......2007-07-16
I truly enjoy all of Nora Roberts books, and I read the first 2 Circle Trilogy books. The Book 3, I did not realize was ordered as an audio book. The story is great, the reading terrible. I would not recommend anyone getting the audio unless this is really your thing. I like to read and imagine what someones voice would sound like, not listen to a man try to read a woman's part and sound like a female. Terrible reading!
Book Description
The second novel in David Gemmell’s bestselling Troy trilogy. Interlacing myth and history, and high adventure, this is epic storytelling at its very best.
War is looming, and all the kings of the Great Green are gathering, each with their own dark plans of conquest and plunder.
Into this maelstrom of treachery come three travellers: Piria, a runaway priestess nursing a terrible secret; Kalliades, a warrior with high ideals and a legendary sword; and his close friend Banokles, who will carve his own legend in the battles to come.
Together they journey to the fabled city of Troy, where a darkness is falling that will eclipse the triumphs and personal tragedies of ordinary mortals for centuries to come.
From the Paperback edition.
Customer Reviews:
imaginative story, pulp writing.......2007-09-23
Shield of Thunder, like Lord of the Silver Bow, both show great imagination in plot, but pure pulp delivery. If you get a kick out of this period in history, by all means read these books, but I doubt if you'll be moved to reread them.
I am so sorry to hear that David passed........2007-09-09
I have read all of David's novels and loved them all. He shall be missed. Great job David. GOD's speed and blessing be upon you.
Solid adventure.......2007-08-13
Part two of the late David Gemmell's Troy trilogy is begins a few months after the failed attempt at removing King Priam from power in Troy. Princess Andromache is adjusting to life at court, while Hektor is sailing the seas and fighting off pirates; he's filling in while Helikaon (known to us as Aeneas) is sick. King Odysseus, King Agamemnon and several other rulers attend the wedding games of Hektor and Andromache, and trouble is stirred up and brought to the boiling point. The last third of the book is devoted to the series of battles that make up the early years of The Trojan War, which is made out to be something like the ancient world's version of World War II.
Once again David Gemmell creates a real living, breathing world out of something that has been romanticized and usually seems inaccessible to the modern reader. Gemmell has taken a very human approach to the Trojan War story, by eliminating the gods and making the heroes human with real strengths and weaknesses. The action scenes are bloody and seem pretty realistic (though it is never gratuitous). While this is a bridge book, it never felt like it, except that while a major battle is completed by the end, the war is far from over. Also while the gist of the story is the same, many of the details are different. Like the marriage of Paris and Helen are mentioned, but it is hardly the reason for the war.
I really liked this book, and Gemmell's fans will not be disappointed with it. I am eagerly waiting for the last book, due out soon.
Troy remix.......2007-06-14
The Shield of Thunder continues Gemmell's exciting, refreshing Trojan War series. With its action, noble warriors, and gorgeous, heroic women, it is the equivalent of a summer blockbuster (a good one, not a Michael Bay film). I like how Gemmell strays from the classic mythology by reducing Hektor and Achilles to supporting characters, exalting Aeneas and Andromache as primary characters, and creating new characters in Kalliades and Banokles. This isn't Homer's Trojan War: Helen and Paris play a minor role, and the Olympians seem to be sitting this one out. To be fair, the novel displays little complexity; most of the characters can be summarized in one sentence. The good guys are heroes and the bad guys are rapists. Even when the good guys turn bad briefly, they're still good. I also thought that the opening premise about Andromache was not resolved completely; and the outcome of the Kalliope storyline felt a little like a copout. In the next volume, I hope Gemmell (or his designee, RIP) gives us a Mykene as a primary character so we can see the war from the "enemy" perspective. I highly recommend the novel and the series and look forward to the next installment.
Can't wait for the third book.......2007-05-21
David Gemmell has breathed new life into a well-known story and made the Bronze Age come alive. His rich imagination created a host of new heroes and heroines of hitherto secondary characters of Iliad without sacrificing the voice of Homer. I hope we'll get to see the third book published, completing this wonderful trilogy.

Customer Reviews:
Who knew she wrote more than Gooey Romance........2007-09-18
This series was my first exposure to Nora Roberts, I have to admit I never gave her books a second look, why would I read a trashy romance novel. Well I found I had been painting her with a very prejudiced brush, what a mistake! This is a great fantasy series, and the romance there is is very fun and not over the top. I will definitely look for more fantasy books from Ms. Roberts.
wonderful book, especially if you enjoy fantasy and romance!.......2007-08-19
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had the perfect mix of fantasy and romance. Blair is not your typical romance novel heroine. All of the main characters contribute to the story with their unique personalities and style. This is a great trilogy!
Dance of the Imagination..........2007-08-16
Not as superb as the first book of the triology, but still fabulous! The story had some lags and the romance between the two was just not as intense as that of Hoyt and Glenna, but still another smash hit filled with all awe! Fantasy and reality have a heavenly mix once again! A MUST READ TRILOGY!!
Very enjoyable, even if it's a little too much like Buffy!.......2007-06-08
It took me a long time to get into the 1st book in this series, but after I did I couldn't put them down. I read all three back to back and really enjoyed them. I am a huge fan of Buffy and Angel, the shows, and found a lot of odd similarities between some of the characters from the TV shows and in the books, but oh well. All in all, enjoyable. If you're a Nora Roberts fan, give them a chance, I'm sure you will enjoy!
Such a letdown!.......2007-05-26
Hello,
Im bucking the trend here...but I hated this book! Don't get me wrong NR is an excelent wordsmith, however Blair and Larkin's story was so...BLAH!
I can't think of anything good to write- oh yes it made me anticipate Moira and Cian's story all the more
Customer Reviews:
great read.......2007-07-23
I have read this book three times - bought this copy for my daughter. It is fun, full of wisdom, and hard to put down. A great gift for the open minded and curious!
What a FUN way to explore the nature of reality!.......2007-02-07
I was so glad they re-released these books. I love the whole series. As novels they are great, but as an explanation of how the universe works they are awesome. I espeically love the old age home of the gods!
The whole idea of all time being simultaneous is so clear. Made me wonder if we aren't all just someone's oversoul!
Metaphysics on another level.......2007-02-07
For those of you who love fictional accounts that leave you on a different plane of existence, this is for you. Many may prefer books that spell things out and leave you with a set of rules to follow from some motivational speaker. This book offers your imagination an enjoyable trip that leaves you with some new perspectives and concepts with which to create your own life.
Cosmic fun!.......2006-01-06
Read this and you will never be the same again! Unlike anything else I have ever read, the Oversoul 7 trilogy stands alone, and in my top 5 books of all time. Cosmic truths presented in fictional format, but NOT cheesy or contrived like most 'New Age fiction.' You know what I mean - those books that have a story just to provide an excuse for New Age preaching. blech. It's great when it works, but it rarely works. Well this time it works! Jane Roberts pulls it off, and pulls it off quite well!
Read Oversoul and your dreams will come alive. You will look at every sunflake with new appreciation. Your sense of time and space will be forever altered. You will grasp at last the paradox of nonlinear time (ie, 'time travel'). You will meet unforgettable characters and remember them fondly many years later (the hallmark of a great book). And, you'll have fun reading it.
Oversoul Seven.......2005-03-20
I am an avid reader (although usually of non-fiction books), and I was completely taken in by this work of "fiction"! In fact, I read the entire trilogy (nearly 600 pages) in just a few days!
I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the metaphysical. Although it's fiction, I believe it shares some of the "real" views of the author - apparently obtained during her messages from Seth (I haven't yet read her "Seth" books yet, so I can't be certain about this).
Basically, this is a story about the journey & subsequent learning of a non-physical being - oversoul seven, and his many teachers along the way. It is beautifully written, and such a page turner, that I only wished there was more stories of the adventures of this quirky soul.
If you are at all interested in the "metaphysical", or enjoy this authors books re: Seth, I would highly recommend "The Oversoul Seven Trilogy" - the author presents some of the most difficult of concepts in an easy, enjoyable way. I can't speak highly enough about this book!

Sincere, but used by others to spread mis-information.......2006-08-06
Michael is an intellegent and sincere person, however because of his mental off-balance was apparently used by others to spread seeds of mis-information. Why? Who Knows.
If you are serious about Aliens and UFO's, don't bother.......2002-03-05
I found this book to be self serving drivel. I threw it down in disgust after plowing through 140 pages waiting to obtain some useful insight. Instead, what I got was a way too fanciful style and content that is little more than blatent exhibitionism about how clever and wonderful is Dr. Wolf and his late family.
This book is a waste of money!.......2001-05-15
First, I will start by saying I am not the toughest critic. But this book was bad. It was very difficult to read and make sense of. Michael Wolf seems to be mentally delusional with no scientific basis whatsoever. I found it difficult to believe he was even a scientist of any kind. They say his background has never checked out and I do not find that surprising at all. I felt like this was a first person story written by a 10 year old in fantasylike, doom/gloom, paranoid world. Basically sounding schizophrenic almost. Save your money and buy "The Day After Roswell," now that book will provide more factual information you are probably looking for. Good Luck.
Worth the Effort.......2000-05-27
Having read a number of the glowing reviews, I began the book eagerly but bogged down in the 1st 30 pages with Rabbi Stone and all and was not sure it was worth it. I might have quit except that I had a dream in which Michael Wolf's son came to me and asked just what I was having trouble with in the book, expressing concern. I remember little more from the dream but it got my attention, and I determined to keep going. The beginning was difficult with so much stream of consciousness and jumping around in time. I also had difficulty following the physics lectures, and sorting out if this was just too far over my head, or it wasn't meant to be fully understood. My educational background is in biology, so when the rainforests came up, I could tell the writing was, in fact, just plain confusing, and could benefit from some additional editing, if clarity is a goal.
All said, the gems of information and insight into a multi-dimensional existence, and into government involvement were worth the effort. It is hard to believe this could be pure fiction, because it is so personal. And it is written by someone who seems to have firsthand experience of non-linear time, and of a greater existence beyond an earthly lifetime.
Here are some passages that struck me:
"This Trilogy is written only because I firmly believe that people have rights: They deserve to know! I do not seek forgiveness. I swear eternal hostility upon those who would rule the minds of men. In a so-called "free" society, the right to know must exist. If a man sees, hears, and feels, he cannot be told he did not see, he did not hear, he did not feel, for this is the 'Tyranny over the mind of man.' This tyranny must end...now."
"I am overwhelmed with the knowledge that the majority of global citizens are deliberately kept ignorant of what is happening, what has been happening since the beginning of human history."
Amen. Perhaps his story will help us toward hearings on government secrecy, with amnesty for government employees willing to talk.
I am grateful for the courage and effort it took to get this extraordinary book out. I hope Michael Wolf will stay with us a while longer, not meeting some untimely death, and that he will be able to complete the sequel his son hoped he would write. I also recommend John Mack's book, Passport to the Cosmos, a study of alien encounters which blew holes in my scientific materialist worldview and helped anchor the "Bigger Picture".
Opinion of a student.......1999-12-13
Dr. Wolf's book is an incredible mix of science, poetry, autobiography. He's an infinite source of information about UFO cover-up, also a scientist.
Read this book !
Book Description
Filled with sex and violence--in and out of time and space--the three books of The Illuminatus are only partly works of the imagination. They tackle all the coverups of our time--from who really shot the Kennedys to why there's a pyramid on a one-dollar bill.
Customer Reviews:
Not Free SF Reader.......2007-09-03
The Illuminatus! Trilogy is an omnibus edition of the bizarre craziness and streams of whatever the hell could be thrown into the mix that comprises:
The Eye in the Pyramid
The Golden Apple
Leviathan
So, a good way to get all of this at once, if you can handle the weird that appears throughout this sort of thing.
Really entertaining.......2007-08-29
This book is 800+ pages of a practical joke. It is very entertaining and well worth reading. It kept my attention throughout the story and I found myself laughing at the absurdities as well as the 'wink winks'. Beyond that I would hope that people are intelligent and patient enough with the book to realize that it is a work of fiction, and that while there may be an iota of truth in every fifty pages, it is just a maybe. Be sure to read after the story is completed, and you won't be disappointed. However if you're looking for a convenient linear storyline you definitely will be. One last note, this book has made me research more historical archives than any history class, any thing in life which makes you think is a great thing to experience.
This book is psychoactive to read. .......2007-07-09
I first read this book (or the three paperbacks) when I was 14, and have re-read it a number of times throughout the intervening years. Every time, I come out the other side a changed man. I think a fully open mind ("gullible in the right way") could do worse than start the process toward "illumiantion" by reading this book.
Folks who really love this should check out Cosmic Trigger: The Final Secret of the Illuminati, which is Wilson's non-fiction account of what happened after the book. It's a trip.
THINKING PERSON'S GUIDE TO THE UNIVERSE.......2007-06-25
I've read and reread this book many times. RAW wrote this on so many levels that you have to peel away the layers of the onion to get to the core.
For another fictional novel that tackles conspiracies and the occult
try Solomon's Key: the CODIS Project by R. Douglas Weber.
SOLOMON'S KEY THE CODIS PROJECT: A CONSPIRACY THRILLER
The widow's sons and the OTO plot a dark agenda against the world. It relies heavily on RAW's the Cosmic Trigger to encorporate the true secret of the Illuminati and all secret societes. And it spells it out in plain English without the symbolic allegory that RAW gave into.
It tells the history of L. Ron Hubbard's Scientology...The BABALON BUNCH: The Magickian, the Rocket Man and Frater H...Hubbard. Sex Magick... the Moonchilde--Crowley and Parsons.
A Novel of High Weirdness.......2007-06-04
Do you feel strange?
Do you feel strange often?
Do you like feeling strange?
In that case, I can recommend no better book than this.
Enjoy.

"Nora Roberts, the bestselling author of Hidden Riches and Born In Fire, continues the romantic Irish saga--the story of the Concannon sisters, three modern women bound by the timeless spirit of their land. When the harsh storms of winter descended upon western Ireland, the locals stayed indoors--and visitors stayed away. Brianna Concannon's bed-and-breakfast became a cold and empty place. But that was fine with Brianna. She enjoyed the peace and quiet, even when the icy winds howled at her window. But this year she's expecting an unusual guest--mystery writer Grayson Thane from America. A restless wanderer with a painful past, he plans to spend the cold winter alone. But sometimes fate has a plan of its own. Sometimes a fire can be born in ice... "

This book is the first of Nora Roberts "born in" trilogy. it is one of my favorets.
Enjoyable.......2007-02-12
The characters in this book are lovely and it's a pleasure to hear the Irish in the reader's voice. This is my favorite in the series. I only wish the series was available in an unabridged format.
I loved the homey feel of this book........2007-01-12
In the first of the trilogy the characters are agitated and brooding, until they fall in love.
In this book the characters are real and down to earth. I really enjoyed reading about the Inn and its' different characters that visited. Nora writes wonderfully about a writer in this one (Grayson). The descriptions of Ireland are dreamy. If you read the first and were not too sure about finishing the triolgy, think again. This was a great read.
Nora Roberts- Born in Trilogy.......2006-11-04
I've yet to read something written by Nora Roberts that I have not been completely satisfied with. She's the kind of author that gives you everything your looking for all in one place, and always leaves you craving more.

Last Part.......2007-08-09
This is the third part of the trilogy and wraps things up nicely, while leeting you know what is to come. It explains a lot about the game and the relationship of the characters.
So compelling, such a wonderfull story!!.......2007-06-08
This is what can only be described as a fantastic final chapter in the war of the ancients series. This book was so fantastic i was immersed into the warcraft universe so much everything else meant nothing. The characters are so well portrayed and the events that take place are spectacular. Richard knakk really sets the pace and the scene with his writing in this book.
The end was sudden and tragic however like every good fairy tale we are left with hope and purpose.
Brilliant
5/5
Enough said... 5 stars........2006-06-27
Definetly get books 1 and 2 before geting this one. If you are new to warcraft universe the triology does a good job of explaining who and what things are ... for the ppl allready into warcraft lore let me tell you, you will not get enough sleep until you are done with all 3 books (and you will want more).
Great ending.......2006-03-04
This trilogy has captivated me from beginning to end. The battles were especially heart pounding. Excellent work. The first two were good, but this one blew me away. Lost too much sleep because of it.
**A book I would also recommend is The Unsuspecting Mage by Brian S. Pratt. This, the first installment of The Morcyth Saga is a great beginning for a new author. Battles, magic, gods, secret passages and intrigue, all the elements of a classic epic fantasy! Any fantasy reader will enjoy it
A terrific end of a terrific trilogy.......2006-02-05
This book just goes to show you that the third book in a series written based on a Blizzard franchise is always the best one. A maxim I have found to be true. I digress. The Sundering takes place a short time after the events of The Demon Soul. The night elves find themselves in constant battle against the Burning Legion. One of the night elves' most relied upon sorcerers has defected to the side of the Legion and their situation looks grim. The book is packed tight with all sorts of depictions of grisly combat and quite remarkable detail. Richard A. Knaak definitely shows himself as one of the masters of writing massive battles (especially the final battles). This was one of the few books I actually sacrificed sleep for just to find out what was going to happen next. That is how addictive Knaak's writing style is. I also like the way he killed off several of his characters, the way he did it was neat. If you are a fan of the Warcraft series of games, you definitely need to read this book, if not the entire trilogy. This book is tied with Empire of Blood as the best final book in a trilogy.
Book Description
With the planet's fighting men and women deployed across the galaxy—battling in the noble cause of enslaved humanity—the insidious Xul have reached across space to devastate the unsuspecting Earth with asteroid fire. Without warning, a once majestic world is reduced to near-rubble—and the very future of humankind is in dire jeopardy.
Interplanetary leaders are on the brink of abandoning Earth and its colonies to an overwhelming enemy. But Brigadier General Garroway of the Marine Interstellar Expeditionary Unit is unwilling to concede defeat—not as long as there's a single marine willing to give his or her life in defense of their embattled homeworld. The ultimate battle is about to be waged—with breathtaking new attack technology, an ancient code of courage, and the help of an ally race that once inhabited the Earth—in a war that will alter the universe forever . . .

Great conclusion to a Great Series.......2007-09-04
I have read both this series and the Heritage Triology and this was a great book to end the series. Mr. Douglas/Keith did a great job with the action and with the overall story.
Bringing in the Marines from Ishtar was a great touch. The description of the near end of the world was outstanding. The space combat and the assualt on the alien system was excellent and very believable.
I would recommend both series to anyone who enjoys Military Science Fiction. I hope Mr. Douglas/Keith will write another Bolo Novel.
struggle to finish.......2007-06-10
I enjoyed the original trilogy, but this final book seemed to spend more time documenting the previous five than getting anything done. Numerous times a character would have a simple thought about an event "I think my grandfather was here..." which would turn into a 3 page synopsis of one of the previous books or a dissertaion on politics or...
Okay, read.......2007-05-23
Book was an okay read, wrapped up the trilogy in a decent way, but doesn't compare to the prior trilogy
star marines.......2007-05-22
good ending to this trilogy, left opening for the next three hope I don't have to wait as long
Fun and addictive.......2007-04-13
The Legacy Trilogy is the continuation of the Heritage Trilogy, you can read through all 6 books as one story that spans hundreds of years. Incredibly addictive. I was never much a fan of military scifi, but this is really great and very difficult to put down. I am also hoping that Ian Douglas will continue writing in this universe, maybe with a new trilogy.
