Customer Reviews:
A Little Disappointed.......2007-09-23
I was disappointed in Hannah and Jonas' "personalities" - they didn't ring true from previous books, neither did the other sisters' actions. The only one truly believable was the Russian and Jackson. I still enjoyed the book, but nearly as much as her other books.
Romance with a Paranormal twist.......2007-09-21
once again Christine Feehan out does her self with this tale of a sister of 7 witches that takes you on an adventure that is not soon forgoten.. a must read...
Slightly Disappointed .......2007-09-17
I had to see what happened to the next sister but, was disappointed in the story. The well known character of Jonas seemed to be a totally different person than he was in the rest of the series. I found his description and actions in this book to be totally different than what I have grown to see and think of him as. That really distracted me from the story as I read it. Also, as much as I love Christine Feehan's books her recent ones have seemed to lack something that I just can't put my finger on. I'm sure when the next Drake sisters book comes out I'll get it but, I will have lowered expectations.
Jonas and Hannah-Together Forever.......2007-09-15
I loved this book! I bought and read it all in one afternoon/evening! The only thing I am going to say is that I found some of the reviews a bit shocking...
One by "Anonymous" titled 'Still good, but a bit tedious'-If you're going to dis Christine Feehan's novels you can't even leave a nickname-instead of -Anonymous-?!
Another two reviews one by "30 Book a month reader" titled 'Summarize' and one by "Reader" titled 'A huge disappointment' Why didn't you take the books and give them to your local library? Why not sell them, exchange them? Our landfills are big enough as it is and not only that...I don't know about any of you readers, but with the economy the way it is I don't have money to throw in the garbage!
Anyhow back to the review...
This was one of the most beautiful love stories, making me laugh, cry and terrified all at the same time. This is what true romance is all about-the all too human way that people who truly love each other act. This is what family is all about people-admitting your mistakes when you're wrong-learning to see yourself as you truly are, flaws and all. I felt Safe Harbor was jam packed with romance, action, suspense, and tenderness. Maybe some feel that Jonas and Hannah are too human and their feelings and emotions hit all too close to home because all of us can relate to them in some way. Remember it takes all kinds to make the world. Keep up the good work Christine! I'm look forward to Ilya and Joley's book and Jackson and Elle's!
Safe Harbor (Drake Sisters - Book 5) by Christine Feehan.......2007-09-06
Wow! A totally satisfying story of Hannah Drake and Jonas Harrington. Feehan alludes to problems Hannah has had while growing up, but doesn't really pinpoint why Hannah is sooooo shy. Is it because of her empathic senses that she needed to shut herself, mentally, emotionally, and physically, away from others? Wasn't there anyone --- besides Jonas and her family --- who could understand her anguish? Couldn't her aunts, all gifted women, help her to cope by teaching her ways to control her abilities? I would have liked to have read a little bit more about Hannah's youth and how her past lead to her profession as a model. There were little snatches from Hannah's past alluding to her shyness, but not a clear picture of the "why."
Jonas' character has been developed through all of the previous books. He's loud in his protectiveness, bossy, a take charge kind of guy; all necessary attributes for a cop. And, to keep himself in the forefront of Hannah's thoughts, he goads, needles, and verbally jabs at her. How could you not love Jonas? He's a manly man with a gooey heart which, of course, gets him into trouble at the wrong times and forces the "sisters" to rescue him time, and time again.
Safe Harbor is a very satisfying book and makes one eager for the next.

Book Description
Corrie McAfee
50 Harbor Street
Cedar Cove, Washington
Dear Reader,
Considering that I'm married to Cedar Cove's private investigator, you might think I enjoy mysteries. But I don't -- especially when they involve us! Roy and I have been receiving anonymous postcards and messages asking if we "regret the past." We don't know what they mean . . .
On a more positive note, we're both delighted that our daughter, Linette, has moved to Cedar Cove to work at the new medical clinic. A while ago I attended the humane society's "Dog and Bachelor Auction," where I bought her a date with Cal Washburn, who works at Cliff Harding's horse farm. Unfortunately Linette is less enthusiastic about this date than I am.
Speaking of Cliff, the romance between him and Grace Sherman is back on. But that's only one of the many interesting stories here in Cedar Cove. So why don't you drop by for a coffee at my husband's office on Main Street or our House on Harbor and I'll tell you everything that's new!
Corrie

This whole series of books by Debbie Macomber was most enjoyable. I have read them all and her characters are real and most interesting.
KEEPS HER READERS ON THE RUN FOR MORE.......2007-08-10
Debbie always tries to give the best of her thought for her readers. As a result we keep on searching for more of her books.
In this 5th book of the cedar cove town, Debbie shows the concern that each character has for each other. She continues by bringing the pass of Mr. and Mrs. McAfee into their present, which started to heat up the story more. If you don't believe me, then I recommend that you get the book and read it for yourself if you have not read it yet.
I enjoyed reading this book a lot and I have just started the six book of this series.
Debbie Macomber.......2007-05-13
I got hooked and her books and I cannot get enough. I just love her romance books. Never disappointeed
Gossipy Good Book Welcomes Readers Back To Heart-Warming Town of Cedar Cove.......2007-02-21
Debbie Macomber is a great story teller. She has created a fictional town and peopled it with characters the reader in me has come to regard as old and dear friends. Simply put, I love this soap-opera-like town and its residents. In this fifth installment, the residents of Cedar Cove learn more about love and redemption, overcoming tragedy, dealing with rejection, and moving forward with grit and determination. There are unexpected bonding sessions, life-threatening situations for favorite characters, and the angst of young love.
50 HARBOR STREET is a gossipy good book that gives us another peek into the lives of people we have grown to love in previous installments. The residents of 50 HARBOR STREET are Roy and Corrie McAfee. As a private investigator, Roy solves a case that could impact his life more than any other he has tackled. The mystery of who is sending him anonymous notes is solved and it reveals a stunning back story to this quiet and unassuming couple.
Roy and Corrie's daughter Linette has moved back to Cedar Cove but spurns her mother's matchmaking skills to go after a young doctor who shows no interest in her but lots in her best friend.
Ben Rhodes' son David comes to town oozing charm and good looks. Why is he making enemies so quickly?
Allison Cox has fallen for a "bad boy" who seems intent on self-destruction. Even the support of parents Zach and Rosie may not make lemonade out of this crate of lemons.
Ian and Cecilia as well as Maryellen and Jon each handle second pregnancies filled with difficult decisions while love is in the air for Rachel Pendergast, Cal Wilson, and that on-again off-again couple Grace and Cliff. You'll want to know what's new with Olivia and Jack, Bob and Peggy, Justine and Seth, and all the friends and neighbors who have become part of your fictional family.
As usual, an unsolved mystery at the end and some dangling threads set the stage for the next installment, 6 RAINIER DRIVE, at the home of Justine and Seth Gunderson.
Great Book.......2007-02-06
Must have if you like this series. Debbie has done it again. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Customer Reviews:
This is a great series.......2007-03-25
This is a wonderful series about two people who shared their lives with four children who otherwise would have ended up as statistics. Each book tells the story of a son they adopted, and the fourth book in the series tells of the last adopted son, but shows how these two people changed so many lives just by giving love. It gives you hope without hype. Buying the series makes it even better because you can immediately go from one the next and it all stays tied together neatly with no stops. Also, it's cheaper in the set than separately!

I had not read the books, so the abridged cd's were just fine for me. I have difficulty reading the printed page anymore so I always enjoy books on cd. These were intriguing and kept me wanting more.

Book Description
In a small coastal Maine town, a killer strikes -- then disappears without a trace.
Shattered by her father's murder, Zoe West abandoned her plans to become an FBI agent and left her hometown of Goose Harbor, Maine. But a new home and job did nothing to get her life back on track, and now Zoe knows only one thing will -- returning to Goose Harbor and confronting the past.
FBI Special Agent J. B. McGrath is "on vacation" -- the Bureau's version of "Get your act together, or else . . ." Burned-out after working undercover for a year, J.B. agrees he needs a break, and chooses Goose Harbor as a retreat. But he isn't lying low. He believes a killer is still loose in the town -- a killer who isn't happy to see Zoe West return. Zoe isn't sure she can trust the unpredictable FBI agent -- or their growing attraction to each other. But as the danger mounts, one wrong move could destroy everything she and J.B. care about. Because someone got away with murder and is determined to keep it that way.

The Harbor
Carla Neggers
Reviewer Pamela Ackerson (author Home of the Braves trilogy)
Zoe West's father was murdered. After being gone for a year, Zoe returns and meets FBI agent JB McGrath who is on vacation. Romance suspense, murder and intrigue. You won't want to put the book down. A superb who-done-it.
Murder in Maine.......2006-07-18
This seemed like the perfect book to take on vacation to Maine. Indeed the descriptions and daily lives evoke Southern Maine quite well.
Neggers uses some of Mary Higgins Clark's techniques to give you the inner thinking of possible villans. It does keep me guessing, but I eventually found the linking of clues and characters not well plotted (or else I missed something vital).
More satisfying, was the developing romance between the vacationing FBI agent and Zoe, who'd lost her police career. The supplemental characters, including Zoe's sister and the 101 year old aunt who wrote mysteries, add depth to the story.
I look forward to trying another book by this author.
Didn't hold my attention........2005-11-10
I gave this book 100 pages of my time - 8 full chapters. I could not get into this story, though I did try. It didn't hold my attention at all. The plot goes nowhere. I won't be finishing this one. This was my first Carla Neggers book and I'm disappointed. I have one more book of hers to try. I hope it's better than this one. If not I won't be reading any more by this author.
liked the book alot.......2004-07-07
This is the first novel that I have read by Carla Neggers. While I do not find her prose to be a sophisticated as say Iris Johansen, I am a big fan of mystery romance, and Carla Neggers can spin a tale. I have a six month old daughter so my choices in literature have run to books that are not that difficult to read and keep up with, but still hold the reader in suspense (and a little bit of romance doesn't hurt when your at home alone all day with a baby!). I was pleasantly surprised by this book and intend to read more of Ms. Neggars works.
Good Read, Good Fun,.......2004-04-13
This book engrossed me from the beginning, both the characters and the locale were intriguing. The combination of family tensions and the mystery gives it depth and poignancy. The writing is crisp, the descpritions vivid, the page turning unavoidable. You find yourself intrigued and engaged until the very end.

Book Description
From the richly forested banks of the Washington Territory; to the burgeoning city of San Francisco; and across the turbulent, danger-filled waves of the open sea–you will experience an epic saga of perseverance and pain, faith and calling in Deep Harbor.
Determined to live “the good life,” no matter the price, Tora Anders weaves a web of lies that could cost her everything she cares for–including a successful future and the man she loves–but lead her to what her soul most desperately needs. Her sister, Elsa Ramstad, has everything her heart desires: a loving husband, a family she adores, and a fulfilling life at sea. Then tragedy strikes. Now, drawing upon her faith and all the strength she can muster, Elsa must once again discover the woman she is and who she chooses to be.
Four years after her husband’s disappearance, Kaatje Janssen struggles to raise two young daughters and tend her farm. But when help comes from the most unlikely source, Kaatje faces both uncertainty about the future and a deep secret from her past. And after years of grappling with his feelings for Elsa and the mistakes he has made, Karl is caught in a life of loneliness and emptiness. Can he finally accept the reality of what he once lost and open himself up to the possibility of what could be?
Separated by physical distance and emotional boundaries, these four bound by friendship and family find each other once again and discover that some ties can never be broken in Deep Harbor, Book Two in The Northern Lights series.

Yes, yes, yes. Read these books. In order........2006-08-28
I love these characters, I love these stories, and I love the message of God's redemption. He can really change the very nature of a person. If you are believer, read it. If you are not a believer, read it.
(What!? It's a good, good story. You'd read it if it was a good story about New agers or Hindus, wouldn't you?)
I rate books as follows:
***** Fun and meaningful book, or changed/challenged me in a positive way.
****Really fun or meaningful; well worth the time.
***Pleasantly skimmed the surface; not memorable.
**Plodded through.
*Abandoned; very flawed
This book is amazing !!!! A Gem !!!.......2005-07-14
Deep Harbor is an excellente story, with a brilliant plot and loving characters, full of surprises, adventures, drama and romance. It touched my heart so that I've cried and smiled a lot.
Definitely I had a wonderful time reading this novel.
I highly recommend you to read this book - It's a page-turner !!!
Five Star Author.......2002-02-08
God has given Lisa a great gift of writing. Her wisdom and insight into God's love, grace and mercy to hurting humanity is SPECIAL. I have many of her books, which I have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy (because they are keepers) but as a widow, I've been truly blessed by the Northern Lights Series and Until the Shadows Flee. The people in her stories are SO real.....they become your friends. I wait with anticipation for all her new books. Guess you can tell I'm hooked. Thank you Lisa for sharing your gift with us. God bless you and keep you prolific (for my benefit) Vondia Caruso
A great book!.......2001-11-12
I really enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend it.
This can't be happening!.......2000-06-23
This isn't some happy-go-lucky book that gives you the warm fuzzies. That's what makes it so great. You don't know what's going to happen next, and when it happens you're saying "This can't be happening! She can't do that!" Yet with all the plot, Lisa Bergren still is able to weave in a powerful message about Jesus Christ.
Book Description
"One of the best storytellers the genre has produced" (Amazon.com), JoAnn Ross creates characters so vibrant and funny they're irresistible. Now she triumphs again with a remarkably intimate tale that illuminates the ardent emotions of a woman coming to terms with her life -- and with her heart.
After her seemingly idyllic marriage turns out to be a pretty illusion, Savannah Townsend returns to her hometown of Coldwater Cove, Washington. Determined to live life on her own terms, she takes on the task of restoring the local Far Harbor lighthouse and making it the cozy inn she had always dreamed of. But she hasn't anticipated opposition from the lighthouse's owner, her grandmother's disturbing memory losses, or the problems of an emotionally wounded teenage girl. Most of all, she hasn't planned on having feelings for Daniel OHalloran, a caring and passionate man from her past.
As affection moves to attraction and then to something far deeper, Savannah learns that in life nothing worth having comes easily. She also discovers that some dreams really are forever.
A novel of uncommon grace and power, Far Harbor is at once a poignant love story and an emotion-packed account of one woman's journey home.
Customer Reviews:
A Wonderful Story.......2004-05-10
After her divorce from "the weasel", Savannah Townsend returns to her childhood home in Coldwater Cove, Washington. She decides she would like to turn a dream into reality and buys the Far Harbor lighthouse and begins to transform it into a bed and breakfast. Savannah has the support of her family: grandmother and retired doctor Ida, her eccentric mother Lilith, and her step-sister lawyer, Raine. These four women and strong willed and stick together when the going gets tough. Events will happen that will slow down Savannah's progress on her lighthouse but will bring the family even closer together.
Far Harbor was a great book. The characters are so real they seem as if they could actually be your neighbors. Their lives are that of the everyday person. The setting was great and the town seemed like Anytown, USA. The romantic storyline with Savannah and Dan was even written in to seem natural and real. It is so nice to read of people falling in love without hating each other first as they do in most romance novels.
This was my first book by this author and it won't be my last. Far Harbor reminded me of books written by Debbie Macomber. Common, everyday people living their lives in the best way they can. This was a great book and should be shared among family and friends.
A nice sequel..........2003-04-28
Savannah Townsende has just been through a bitter divorce that has broken her pride and her spirit. Leaving the sandy beaches of California as a chef of an exclusive resort, Savannah returns to Coldwater Cove, Washington where her family lives. Upon arrival, Savannah realizes her dream of opening her own bed and breakfast might not be as far fetched as she originally thought. She then decides to make an offer to the owner of the lighthouse that is on the edge of the cove. While she wasn't ready for any emotional or romantic entanglements, Savannah couldn't avoid her feelings for Dan O'Halloran. Soon she was smack in the middle of an affair that she didn't want to end, or to change from no strings to commitment.
Dan O'Halloran ran from Savannah after their one and only date when she was still in high school. She made men dangerously think of forever thoughts, and as an eighteen year old, Dan decided he better get far away, and fast. What he didn't count on was seeing Savannah all these years later and still feeling the feelings he did then, but intensified from that of a boy to a man. He knew that she had been burned in her marriage, but he knew that he wouldn't let that stop him from convincing her that they belonged together.
Dan and Savannah's story is sweet and will make the reader smile. Ross also brings the reader the story of John Martin, Dan's nephew who was orphaned after a car accident that his parents died in. We also meet Savannah's grandmother Ida Lindstrom who finally realizes that just because she's been a doctor for longer than five decades, doesn't mean that she is immortal.
A good read!
A Perfect Sequel.......2002-03-30
This sweet, romantic, and well-written delight is the sequel to JoAnn Ross's lovely "Homeplace." It continues the story of a family of strong-willed women: Ida, the matriarch whose long life of medical service is only part of her strength (she would have been played beautifully by the late Colleen Dewhurst; I imagine Ida looking just like her); Lilith, her nutty, gorgeous hippy dippy daughter, who has finally settled down with the love of her life at age 50; and Lilith's two daughters (by two different husbands).
The story of Lilith's daughter Raine was told beautifully in "Homeplace," and ended with her marriage. "Far Harbor" concentrates on the other daughter, impossibly beautiful but emotionally fragile Savannah, who has returned to her hometown of Coldwater Cove, WA, after a disastrous failed marriage. Savannah and her late husband had run a famous catering business in California. But now, Savannah is on her own, and although she is shaky inside, she is also determined to make a go of her new life.
Accordingly, she purchases a Coldwater Cove landmark, the Far Harbor Lighthouse. In her mind's eye, Savannah can see the enchanting bed and breakfast inn it will become, but in reality, the place is a dump, and will take back-breaking work to restore. But Savannah isn't Ida Lindstrom's granddaughter for nothing. She feels equal to the challenge--as long as her woman's heart is not involved. For Samantha is convinced that love, and particularly marriage, are off limits for her now, and she wants nothing to do with any man who might challenge that belief.
Daniel O'Halloran, a rugged, gorgeous lawyer and cousin to Raine's new husband Jack, once dated Savannah in high school. He has returned to Coldwater Cove as well, after the tragic death of his sister and her husband left him guardian to their mentally challenged son. Daniel too has had a failed marriage. But when he sees Savannah...well, enough said.
Subplots involve troubled teenager Gwen, whom we met in Homeplace, who is struggling to forget the baby girl she put up for adoption; Ida, whose health may not be what it was; the cranky former owner of the lighthouse, Henry, who has no family of his own; and Savannah's biological father, a British rock star who sounds just like Mick Jagger.
Sound good? It is. A good, solid read in the old-fashioned vein. I enjoyed this book very much, and derived much satisfaction from the ending, which of course I will not reveal. Read it and see for yourself!
Another great read by JoAnn Ross!.......2000-03-03
Savannah Townsend has left a bad marriage and her career behind. She's come home to Coldwater Cove and bought an old, rundown lighthouse that she's hoping to renovate and turn into a bed and breakfast. And, she's found a man from her past who just might be her future. Daniel O'Halloran came home to Coldwater Cover to care for his orphaned nephew . . . his wife wouldn't come with him and they end up divorcing. He's not looking for a relationship, but then the best things tend to happen when we're not looking. As Daniel and Savannah learn to trust each other, they are surrounded by family troubles -- troubles that help them draw closer -- Savannah's aging grandmother, a mixed-up teenage girl, a cantankerous old man, and a ghost whose spirit is just waiting for someone to set her free. Ross tells a story rich with family and love -- a story with characters I fell in love with in Homeplace and fell even further for in Far Harbor.
JoAnn Ross excels.......2000-01-19
JoAnn Ross's sequel to Homeplace brings us back to the beautiful Olympic Penninsula. Recently divorced Savannah Townsend is trying to get her life back in order and decide what to do.
After deciding to buy the Far Harbor lighthouse and open a bed and breakfast, Savannah puts her plans into motion. What she doesn't expect is to clash with the current owner of the lighthouse or to be so attracted to his lawyer, a man she went to high school with.
Dan O'Halloran is getting his life back on track too. After a recent divorce, he is returning to Coldwater Cove, Washington to start over with his young orpahaned nephew. He is immediately attracted to Savannah and spends his extra time helping her fix up the lighthouse. The two fall in love, but Savannah is too hurt over her recent divorce to allow herself to completly give herself to Dan.
This is a wonderful story about love and family. The interesting characters from Homeplace are back, including the wonderfully witty grandmother.
On a personal note, living in Seattle all my life, the Pacific Northwest summer that was so wonderfully written made me yearn for the sun to come out and the soft breeze of the Puget Sound. One of the Pacific Northwest's best kept secrets is their summer. It does rain a lot, but you can't beat the summers. I'm counting the days down. Only FIVE MORE MONTHS.

the Harbor Light.......2007-06-08
An excellent book which helps the reader to think about what it means to be a light in the world in Christian actions. It is good for all ages.
The Harbor Light.......2007-01-10
An entertaining story with a moral that is relatable for children. Why should a child be responsible and dependable, when life sends so many opportunities to just have fun!? Story is easily understood and the illustrations bring the characters to life.
The Harbor Light - Inspirational Illumination!.......2006-03-24
First- the artwork is very effective in creating an appealing and endearing (flawed)hero.Second - the story is meaty and engaging as Lighthouse struggles with issues of conscience, peer pressure and selfishness - to emerge victorious. It is a fresh way to begin the dialog with children of all ages over these and other issues...do we listen to the wise counsel of our elders, of our heavenly father? Or do we find out the disasterous consequences of bad choices? It's a timeless story presented in a meaningful, thoughtful - and fun way. Two thumbs up!
Quality Literature and Illustrations with an Uplifting Message .......2006-03-14
As a retired elementary principal, English teacher, mother, and grandmother, I found The Harbor Light to be an encouraging story for children. The story addresses the problems of peer pressure, loneliness, and lack of purpose and conviction.
It is beautifully illustrated and written, challenging children and adults alike to trust and find God's purpose in their lives, and to live that life wholeheartedly so the Lighthouse keeper will one day say, "Well Done."
The Harbor Light would be an ideal gift for a child or adult who is seeking or needs encouragement.
Terrific for Kids - Great for All Ages!!.......2006-03-11
I initially bought The Harbor Light for my children and my grandchildren. They listened intently to the message of the words, watched in amazement as the illustration pages were turned, and responded with valuable life lessons from the content. What's even more exciting is that I'm over fifty and I found the story applicable to my life and the illustrations delightfully inspirational. I was then thrilled when my parents found joy in the book as well. Even the elderly who are dealing with lonliness and other challenges can find encouragement from this book!

Kids Love It!.......2006-06-10
Falcon of Abydos is a mystical trip up the Nile with hazards and adventures for the MacGregor Family. Many books have technical aspects and the author must be trusted or abandoned. All Trout novels have science that is "meticulously accurate in detail" according to the reputable Midwest Book Review because Trout is a scientist and uses many engineers and scientists. It is not fantasy. Trout has received nearly twenty national reviews, all with good acclaim and Falcon of Abydos sells extremely well in schools for grades five through eight. Dozens of school systems nationwide use Falcon of Abydos as part of their curriculum on Egypt. A nationally acclaimed newspaper, The Daily Oklahoma, stated that "Trout writes with authority on Egypt." So to see something other than this is to miss the point of the novel entirely. Reviews written by children ages 9-15 should be the measure of this novel. Other MacGregor novels by Trout have been finalists for Book of the Year in Oklahoma and adopted by National Geographic for their international science curriculum called the JASON Project. I know this for a fact because I am Richard Trout and welcome all readers to enjoy this series and offer their fair appraisals.

An interesting story crippled by extremely poor writing.......2002-06-26
This book was abysmal. I had very high hopes for it, as the idea--two scientist parents traveling the world with their three children--seemed quite interesting, especially as this one was set in Egypt. What I found was poor characterization, blatant attempts at suspense, and far too much attention to details that were not germane to the story.
All along the story was plagued by highly improbably incidents. The earthquake in the prologue seems too convenient. The scientist (and therefore presumeably somewhat intelligent) mother takes her children two hours into the desert, in a BMW sedan, with only one bottle of water, for a picnic. And then is surprised when they are caught in a sandstorm. A perfect rescue by a helicopter-flying Egyptologist. The list goes on and on.
Far too much time was spent detailing every single outfit that every single character, however minor, was wearing or purchasing. In every scene I was informed exactly where each person was sitting in relation to the others. The dialogue was stilted and unnatural, using for example "I will" or "you are" instead of "I'll" and "you're."
The author referred to every person of Middle Eastern/Northern African descent, as Arabs. The terrorism theme was handled rather insensitively, especially considering the author's introduction that stated he decided to publish it after September 11. My favourite bit was when a character suggested that a 500-megaton bomb hitting the High Aswan Dam would cause massive flooding downriver. You might think so, but actually that 500-megaton bomb would probably vaporize Lake Nassar and tick people off as far as Greece and India.
One of the cover blurbs said this book defines a new level of action/adventure eco-terrorism books. Yes, I can define it in two words: wretchedly awful.
