Not impressed.......2007-10-03
I am not sure whether my negative perception of this book arises more from my disliking the book or the subject matter, but I felt like I had trouble learning from it as well as I have from other textbooks. I generally rely on the text to clarify anything I missed from a professor's lecture, but this one was not that helpful for me. I'm sure this is related to the fact that I am absolutely horrible at accounting, but I was hoping that the textbook could save me and teach me whatever I was missing in class... no such luck!
Good starting book for Managerial Accounting.......2007-02-26
Clearly written. Although it assumes some basic knowledge about accounting, the writing technique is such that there is very little background knowledge that you have to go refresh yourself with in order to make sense of the new information. For a novice at accounting like me, this was easy to understand, with good examples and illustrations.
It is really useful in real business world!!.......2006-11-16
I am a MBA candidate in US and will return to Japan next year.
My background is engineer in Japanese manufacturing company.
Even now, this textbook teaches us powerful tools and especially in factory accounting. The knowledge for budgeting and how to evaluate it will help me in the future.
I will bring this book back to Japan and try to use it in the real world!!
Excellent book.......2006-10-11
The writing may not be perfect, but it's still a great textbook, probably the best you can find.
After all, there is a reason that so many colleges use this book. You will learn a great deal whether you use this book for a class or for your own study.
Poorly written.......2006-02-15
This is a poorly written textbook; rambling and fragmented information is presented on a piecemeal basis rather than in a clear, concise and well-organized manner. Important information belonging to one subject-matter chapter, is often presented as "aside" information in other chapters on wholly different subjects. This textbook appears to have been written by an author who forgot to take his ADHD medication. This "substandard" quality has become common place with this particular publishing company, Prentice Hall, to include its many subsidiaries (Pearson, Thompson, Southwestern, etc.), to the detriment of the education system.

Excellent for Coaches and Managers.......2007-08-15
Not only a succinct guide for improvement in itself, many references to detailed research on improvement of individual traits.
My Team members each have a copy. Works well with 360 degree review approach.
Hits the mark on a lot of topics.......2007-06-14
A very good overall guide for self discovery, and a great tool for coaching and developing others - a great leadership resource. This touches at a high level a lot of behavior and development topics, but does not get into the details. If you're looking for a book that dives deep into a specific behaviorial area, this is not the book for you. But what it gives is 3-4 pages on a behavior or skill, hitting it fast and hard, with guides and advise on development (covers overuse of a skill, as well as adressing gaps in a skill). It links topics/bahaviors to each other which is very helpful, and the book even leaves space in its categorizing/numbering for future skills and behaviors that may come in future editions. I've purchased this book for all the managers on my team.
A must have for all leaders.......2005-10-06
Updated for the current workforce with new tips and strategies.

Exceptional Learners textbook.......2007-08-13
Book is simply written and easy to follow. For a novice I would highly recommend it.
Speedy service!.......2006-11-02
Great product...I would order from you again if the opportunity arose to do so. The book arrived over a week before the expected delivery date, which was GREAT!
Good Foundational Book!.......2002-04-30
I really like the way this book is presented. It provides a really concise yet complete overview of the disabilities most commonly encountered. I also like the pages in the back of each chapter that give teaching strategies in respect to the disability discussed. This is a great book for general educators looking for some information on disabilities and for those beginning to learn about special education. This book gives a great foundation for all the other special education courses that follow it. Great book!
Error found in Chapter 1.......1999-02-16
I found question 12 on page 5 of the Chapter 1 review to be true. The author of the study guide lists the answer as false. The question is taken word by word from page 40 of the text book.
Book Description
The PowerScore LSAT Logic Games Bible is the most comprehensive book available for the Logic Games section of the LSAT. The intent of this book is to provide you with an advanced system for attacking any game you encounter on the LSAT. This same system is covered in the live classes taught by PowerScore, and all of the methods and techniques discussed in the book have been tested in classroom situations over many years.
The book features and explains a detailed methodology for attacking the games section. All aspects of Logic Games are covered, from recognizing game types to diagramming rules to making inferences and answering questions. Entire chapters are devoted to the most advanced game techniques and to time management strategies.
Logic Games are divided into individual types, and a discussion follows that teaches you how to approach each type of Game, and drills are presented to help you apply and understand the techniques. Thereafter, real LSAT logic games are used to illustrate how the techniques apply to real tests. Using real LSAT questions is a must for high-level LSAT preparation, and twenty-one real LSAT logic games are contained in the book. Each logic game is accompanied by a detailed analysis of the game setup and related questions.
The author has over 12 years experience teaching the LSAT and has scored in the 99th percentile on a Law Services-administered test. An expert in LSAT preparation, he has overseen the preparation of thousands of students and founded two national LSAT preparation companies.
The Logic Games Bible can be supplemented by The Ultimate Set-Ups Guide, which features setups for every game in each released LSAT from 1995 to 2002. Also, both books provide access to a unique website for additional LSAT and Logic Games information, and has answers to frequently asked questions.

Useful, despite being overpriced and a bit odd.......2007-09-30
The Logic Games Bible teaches techniques for diagramming games and, to a lesser extent, attacking the questions. The most useful things I picked up from the book were:
1) Never erase your work (do one master diagram at the bottom of each page and then, if necessary, do mini-diagrams the questions).
2) Diagramming numerical distributions.
3) "Hurdling the uncertainty, TM," which is an effective method of diagramming inclusion/exclusion rules when presented with rules like "A, B, and C can not all be selected at the same time."
4) Diagramming abstract sequences
It's worth noting that along the way, the book utilizes some strange conventions. For example, when diagraming a sequence where A comes before B (that is, it's in a lower numbered position) the book suggests that the following shorthand be used: A>B, that is A is greater than B. If you've taken a math class in the last decade, this is disconcerting--in practice I diagrammed all of the abstract sequences exactly opposite of the book. Also, when diagramming morning and afternoon games, the book suggested that the diagram look like this:
afternoon.|_ _ _ _ _
morning....|_ _ _ _ _
A strange reversal of morning and afternoon that is, again, off-putting to anyone who has used outlook, or even a regular calendar. These are minor quibbles, but to some extent, they make the book seem a little amateurish and undermine the reader's confidence in it.
All said, this book can be very useful if used correctly. Its well worth purchasing if you're aiming for the 170s, still have a month or two left to study, and have not taken many practice exams (I say this because there aren't that many old logic sections to go through, and it takes a decent number of practice sections to learn how to efficiently apply the techniques taught in the book). If, however, you're planning on skipping a game on the test, expect to score
<170, only have a couple of weeks before the exam, or have chugged through most of the practice exams, this will be an expensive book of little use.
Great Buying Experience.......2007-09-26
I have been looking at all the bookstores in the Atlanta area for this book. I needed it to study for my upcoming LSAT. The book was out of stock everywhere in Georgia. I simply went online to Amazon and the book arrived at my doorstep within 3 days-and it was cheaper than the bookstores! This book is an excellent tool if you are unsure about the logic games portion of the LSAT. I would recommend it to anyone, even if they feel pretty confident on logic games.
The BEST LSAT book available.......2007-09-09
I used this book as a supplement to the PowerScore classroom course, and I found the book more helpful than the actual course! When I began to work through the book my score was a 168, but I now score consistently in the 173-174 range. As I practice, I get even faster...the techniques really are superb. Just leave yourself enough time (2-3 weeks) to work through the book without rushing so that you can absorb each concept, and then leave at least 3 weeks to do your own practice, honing the techniques on actual LSATs. I've been working just the games section from one test each day, and then an entire test every 4th day.
Unless you think the games are easy, this is the most important LSAT prep book you can buy.
Worth Every Penny!!!.......2007-09-03
Before purchasing this book, I purchased both Kaplan and Princeton Review prep books and still SUCKED at the analytical reasoning/logic games section of the LSAT. I spent two weeks with this book and was able to complete every logic game accurately. I'm still working on the timing but at least I'm able to diagram the games and arrive at the correct answers, which is something I struggled with before. If you have difficulty w/ the logic games - this is the book for you!!!
If you suck at logic..........2007-07-27
I have a real hard time with logic puzzles. But, there's nothing better than practice with real logic puzzles to improve your score. This book uses actual puzzles from previously released LSATs. Please do not waste your time with books that do not used actual LSAT puzzles, they're a joke. This book improved my abilities and prepared me for a real LSAT.

Book Description
From Stephen R. Covey's eldest son comes a revolutionary new path towards productivity and satisfaction. Trust, says Stephen M.R. Covey, is the very basis of the new global economy, and he shows how trustand the speed at which it is established with clients, employees and constituentsis the essential ingredient for any high-performance, successful organization.
For business leaders and public figures in any arena, The Speed of Trust offers an unprecedented and eminently practical look at exactly how trust functions in our every transaction and relationshipfrom the most personal to the broadest, most indirect interactionand how to establish trust immediately so that you and your organization can forego the time-killing, bureaucratic check-and-balance processes so often deployed in lieu of actual trust.

All hype, no protein.......2007-09-19
Lots of anecdotes about the author's years in the business world. The author testifies that trust is great and makes things work. Little of substance in this book.
Trust is Fundamental in Relational Management.......2007-08-24
Trust may be the missing ingredient for the relational management model to succeed, but Trust (confidence + credibility) is an outcome, not an input. To get a Trust outcome requires the right inputs and in this book, the next generation's spokesperson for the Covey dynasty, Stephen M. R. Covey, tells us what trust means as well as provides plenty of examples of how important trust is when it comes to delivering business performance.
M.R. uses the "ripple effect" metaphor with Self at the center and waves rippling from the inside out to describe the "5 Waves of Trust." Using this metaphor, the first trust wave is Self-Trust (credibility driven), then comes the Relationship-Trust (consistent behavior driven) wave, an Organizational-Trust (alignment driven) wave, a Market-Trust (reputation driven) wave, and finally a Societal-Trust (giving back or contribution driven) wave.
Staying with the emphasis on managing `Self' first, Covey then provides the substance of the Self-Trust wave; the 4 cores of Credibility - integrity, intent, capability, and results. For the Relationship-Trust wave he identifies 13 critical behaviors. With the remaining trust waves, the dialogue continues the book's main theme - understanding the cost of mistrust and the value of trust - as it discusses organizational alignment, market reputation, and societal contribution. As M.R. says, "the dividends of trust can significantly enhance the quality of every relationship on every level of your life". If you doubt that, read this book.
The Ultimate Trust Model.......2007-08-23
I speak around the world on building Trust in Selling. "The Speed of Trust" gives you a roadmap on how to master trust and the real economic value of trust.
Stephen gives you insights that anyone can use in their quest to excel at building trust in business relationships.
The Speed of Trust gets to the core roots of integrity and how 'trusted' leaders and organizations thrive.
Everyone should make the time to read this book."

Author Lost My Trust Immediately, So Why Would I Listen To Anything He Has To Say?.......2007-08-01
I checked out this book from the library, read the 1st chapter - then immediately put it by the door so I could return it the next day. Why? Mr. Covey has no credibility himself. At least not with me. Here's why.
The 1st Chapter is basically his How I Learned About The Importance Of Trust saga. The problem is that it's an unintentional unmasking of a narcissist. His only admitted mistake in establishing trust with the Franklin side of the Franklin-Covey merger is his assumption that all the Franklin people were as well-informed on how great he is as the Covey people.
Mr. Covey then proceeds to take things further by showing how stricken he is with Rich Offspring Disease. He expresses shock that anyone assumed he was in top position at Covey just because of his name. Apparently Mr. Covey wants us to believe that he was interviewed for his job at Covey by people who had No Idea he was related to THE Covey family. Please.
Mr. Covey is one more person who has been handed the keys to the corner office without having to earn it first. His family is free to do that if they like. However, swallowing his insistence that he would've had the job even if he hadn't been related is too much to swallow.
A man who can't admit he's gotten breaks in life is not a man who can be trusted. Nor is he a man who knows much about trust. At least that's my opinion.
I guess we're also intended to believe that Mr. Covey got his book deal the hard way - soliciting agents and publishing houses with an unsolicited manuscript, with no help from or trading on the connections of his famous author father. Just like J.K. Rowling.
Does someone who trades in these delusions sound like he understands real, lasting trust and credibility?
The Speed of Trust.......2007-07-17
Incredible! Knowing what incredible work Stephen R Covey has produced led me to purchase this book authored by his son The book exceeded my expectations. Stephen MR Covey (Dr Covey's son) does an incredible job of using real examples on how TRUST will either move a relationship on quickly or the lack of TRUST will slow it down or kill it altogether.
In my 10+ years of selling for a fortune 500 company, the instances when I was able to build a great deal of trust with my clients, were the times the sales process moved along quickly.
This is a MUST read for everyone, from business people to husbands and wifes, all will benefit from the insight this author has

managementtrainer.......2007-09-24
This field guide is execellent. It is practical and helpful. Improving teamwork is difficult, to say the least, especially for highly dysfunctional teams. Patrick Lencioni's book is essential to working through these challenges.
Easy to use and very helpful.......2007-08-13
This field guide is extremely useful for working with teams - from dysfunctional teams to those that are running smoothly. The exercises are practical and get to the heart of team dysfunctions.
I am a pastor who also works in the corporate world. I will use the ideas and exercises in this book with teams in the office and in the church.
Outstanding Complement to The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.......2007-07-21
Teamwork really is the one sustainable advantage that a group or company can have. Patrick Lencioni has put together a prescriptive method of bringing a group of people together to form a team. He walks through a step by step approach of breaking down the levels of teamwork in a narrative format in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable which really builds the case for why you would want to follow this method. In this book, he all but builds your team for you. It'll be imperative that you can foster the right levels of communication and potentially have someone with you to help as you rebuild your team; however, this method does give critical insight into how groups of people become a team.
Great toolkit and field guide.......2007-07-05
This is a very useful book that has lots of gold nuggets for team training facilitators. Well worth the money and then some.

Once again using an astutely written fictional tale to unambiguously but painlessly deliver some hard truths about critical business procedures, Patrick Lencioni targets group behavior in the final entry of his trilogy of corporate fables. And like those preceding it, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team is an entertaining, quick read filled with useful information that will prove easy to digest and implement. This time, Lencioni weaves his lessons around the story of a troubled Silicon Valley firm and its unexpected choice for a new CEO: an old-school manager who had retired from a traditional manufacturing company two years earlier at age 55. Showing exactly how existing personnel failed to function as a unit, and precisely how the new boss worked to reestablish that essential conduct, the book's first part colorfully illustrates the ways that teamwork can elude even the most dedicated individuals--and be restored by an insightful leader. A second part offers details on Lencioni's "five dysfunctions" (absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results), along with a questionnaire for readers to use in evaluating their own teams and specifics to help them understand and overcome these common shortcomings. Like the author's previous books, The Five Temptations of a CEO and Obsessions of an Extraordinary Executive, this is highly recommended. --Howard Rothman
Book Description
In The Five Dysfunctions of a Team Patrick Lencioni once again offers a leadership fable that is as enthralling and instructive as his first two best-selling books, The Five Temptations of a CEO and The Four Obsessions of an Extraordinary Executive. This time, he turns his keen intellect and storytelling power to the fascinating, complex world of teams.
Kathryn Petersen, Decision Tech's CEO, faces the ultimate leadership crisis: Uniting a team in such disarray that it threatens to bring down the entire company. Will she succeed? Will she be fired? Will the company fail? Lencioni's utterly gripping tale serves as a timeless reminder that leadership requires as much courage as it does insight.
Throughout the story, Lencioni reveals the five dysfunctions which go to the very heart of why teams even the best ones-often struggle. He outlines a powerful model and actionable steps that can be used to overcome these common hurdles and build a cohesive, effective team. Just as with his other books, Lencioni has written a compelling fable with a powerful yet deceptively simple message for all those who strive to be exceptional team leaders.
Customer Reviews:
Definition of Team ?.......2007-10-02
"Relieved, Kathryn was more than happy to give Mikey everything she asked for. But she knew better than to say so right there. "I'm not sure about all of that, but I will see if I can make it happen."
I am not so naive that I think lies and manipulation doesn't happen from management to employees. I am surprised when it is from the hero in the model who touts team trust and commitment, then lies and pretends that she will work hard and go to bat for the employee being asked to leave. People who are honest when it works for them and not honest when that works for them aren't trustworthy. I lost respect for Kathryn right there on page 159.
How about: "Yes, I'm sure we can." Or "Let me give that to HR and have them get in touch with you" or "I will get back to you on the severance agreement." Those are truthful and authentic, not pretending that you are going to pull strings or go the extra mile when it's not true and you're actually relieved with what little the employee asked for. Does the end justify the means?
Sports Teams are about performance and not personalities that get along with everyone else on the team. Does every man on a professional football team get along with every other male on the team? If the team member they all dislike for whatever reason they dislike him, continually catches the football and scores... the team keeps him.
I do not see the conversations that happened between the CEO and an executive in The Five Dysfunctions (TFD) occurring in professional basketball. Can you see the coach telling Michael Jordan, you are excellent in your chosen field, but the other team members complain about your attitude and you did call one of them an S.O.B, so we're going to dismiss you from the team. In TFD their personality and attitudes, not their performance was the issue for dismissal.
There are several instances where the writer sets the stage for some dramatic event. They never happen. The chapters involving the CEO Kathryn and the executive Mikey are anti-climatic.
The storyteller tries to build Mikey up with sentences like: "But Mikey was cleverer than the average executive." (Really, that's the sentence.) The story goes on to explain that the CEO thought Mikey was coming to terms with the dismissal.... and ends the chapter with "But she was wrong."
I was waiting for something "dramatic" to happen, here it is:
Mikey then says her husband is an attorney and it won't be easy to make a case for termination. The CEO explains then your behavior would have to change, because you don't like to be criticized, don't apologize, roll your eyes and called a team member an SOB. Mikey was "stunned" and "Confronted with stark evidence, she realized the weight of her dilemma." She resigns and leaves before any co-worker could see her.
Yea, that's cleverer. Stark evidence of what? Not having "artificial harmony?" (One of the five dysfunctions)
I think it would help if any book written on Team Building would begin by defining what the author means by the word "Team." Not just reference Sports Teams as an analogy.(This book references a basketball team) Even though you can pull examples of great coaching or instances from sports teams, the rules are different in sports teams and work teams. If the team concepts work so well, why don't all sports teams do well in their competitions? Maybe,it has more to do with the coaching (leaders, management) than the "team."
I understand this was to be a simple story to illustrate the Five Functions of a workgroup or team. I agree the five functions are valuable and foster a place of safety and creativity. Although is it really a revelation that any team would be a better team if they operated with the five functions than a team that didn't?
Education View.......2007-09-30
I bought this book because it is required for a graduate level education class that I am enrolled in. Although the story is set in the business world, the strategies suggested are also applicable to the educational setting as well.
This is a quick and easy read. I like that it is not preachy...it just tells a story and allows the reader to take what he/she needs to take from it.
Can't Say Enough!.......2007-09-29
This is an easy read -- but the concepts are powerful.
I took a highly disfunctional group of talented people -- and using the concepts presented, now have a high performance team.
Ok, it took several years -- and some effort -- but this book gave us a roadmap.
Go to their website -- and use the on-line Team assessment to measure you're progress.
Seriously, this book really helped us -- and we are really doing great! No lie...
Engaging Story, Powerfully Simple Ideas.......2007-09-11
Patrick Lencioni's book The Five Disfunctions of a Team is a simple read with powerful ideas for how we need to evaluate and reshape teams. I like his use of fables in business literature to give you a good story backed by common-sense organizational development advice that isn't so common-sense.
Read it!
The importance of doing the hard work of building a team.......2007-08-16
This is the first book by Patrick Lencioni that I have read and I found it to be engaging, insightful and practical. It is the ultimate in teaching by telling a story. Because I've seen situations where teambuilding took a back seat to being busy, the book reinforces the notion that to produce good teams you have to spend lots of time and effort to develop teams, but it is worth the effort. There is no quick fix to developing trust, confidence, and focus by a group of co-workers. I would highly recommend this book for those who lead teams.

I'm a PA-C and and have used hundreds of books. I LOVE THIS BOOK! It is very complete and easy to use without being overwelming like Harrison's. It is an absolute must for any mid-level provider.
Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment is Awesome. There is also a Current Surgery and Current Emergency Medicine that both SUCK.
Concise, complete, no frills, need to know information.......2007-09-14
I am a physician, now retired, and have used, and use, this book for years. I get a new update every two years. IMHO it gives a great review and complete synopsis of many many medical problems. It is paperback. There are no photos, nor graphics. It is well written and well organized. The layout on the pages (using blue titles) makes it easy to read and follow. I highly recommend it.

It has all the relevant topics you need for a general practice of medicine. It touches on pathophysiology just enough to get you up to speed. There is often little extra clinical advice that is very useful and that I do not encounter in other textbooks. Each chapter also gives you treatment options.

I used this for my 5 MICU month rotations. It was useful but a lot of the material is dated. Early Goal Directed Therapy is not in here and the pressor we use at our facility are not dicussed in great detail here. I actually found it more helpful for my cardiac critical care rotations.
Good reference book.......2007-06-04
Very thoroughly written. Some sections come in very handy during SICU rotations. The concepts are explained in a plain easy to read format.
Excelent book.......2007-04-04

Indispensible for any critical care practitioner.......2007-03-24
Simply stated, this is THE book for critical care medicine. A unified overview of critical care is presented in a succinct manner. Difficult physiological concepts are broken down into simple concepts. I would argue that this text is mandatory reading for any physician, not just intensivists. Critiques about Dr. Marino's "controversial" views are simply unfounded--the book is exceptionally well-referenced. I have never purchased a medical text with as much value. Dr. Marino's website is a nice bonus--it's free and you can link to references very quickly.
a good txtbook .......2007-01-24
very easy to read, the work of Marino as an important charact. i.e. all the chapters 're written by the author. This make a "compact" point of view abt. the issues treated.
the book is evidence base oriented but well balanced with some common sense observation in clinical practice.
It is not pragmatic like other txt of the same carature, for exp Bongard's Current (waiting for a new edts of a very good basical txtbook), but probabily the philosophy of the author 's not the same.
Many items were not treated directely. The acute pancreatitis 's treated not so in depht, the diabetic KA was treated in the chapter of acid base disease. Of note, there is an important window abt. the phisiopatology.
All and all the txt is an authoritative source for the initiation of the crit care phis., the first step before the study of more heavy txtbooks (hall; parillo-my preferred but probabily is a personal opinion;civetta- not new edts in view).
The new edts is very uptodate and the biblio voices has a Very high citation index.
Book Description
Referred to as the "Grand Prix of epidemiology" by The New York Times, this study examines more than 350 variables of health and nutrition with surveys from 6,500 adults in more than 2,500 counties across China and Taiwan, and conclusively demonstrates the link between nutrition and heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. While revealing that proper nutrition can have a dramatic effect on reducing and reversing these ailments as well as curbing obesity, this text calls into question the practices of many of the current dietary programs, such as the Atkins diet, that are widely popular in the West. The politics of nutrition and the impact of special interest groups in the creation and dissemination of public information are also discussed.

The China Study.......2007-10-05
This is one of the best books on nutrition for the professional and the lay persons.
This book says it all, once and for all.......2007-10-04
I'll keep this short and sweet: stop eating animal food, because animal protein and animal fat in dietary amounts will activate the carcinogens already in your body to produce cancer. Period. Man was *never meant* to consume animal food in the amounts he does, to say nothing about the drugs, antibiotics, hormones and the rest of the crap that the animal food industry laces it with. The sooner you eliminate meat, fish, fowl and dairy from your diet, the better off you and yours will be.
china study - review.......2007-10-04
Read this book - it could save your life. Probably the most important, definitive book on diet and health ever written. It was easy to read, hard to put down. One of our country's senior researchers tells the compelling story of his suprising discoveries and what that means for all of us. Thankyou Dr. Campbell - you've given me and my family a priceless gift.
Needs to be on every book shelf.......2007-09-29
This is the study so many health books reference, and it simply can't be ignored. Dr.Sanjay Gupta mentions it in his book, and there are a host of other ones, mainly about HEALTH not weight, that state that this is an extremely important and pertinent study. So many doctors agreeing on one study tells me to take note, and after reading it, I must say it has changed my thinking on diet and nutrition and health in general.
Dr. Campbell concludes that the most healthy diet is a vegan one by the end of the book. However, that is not to say that even reducing the meat you eat, along with other animal products won't garner significant health benefits. In the last year I have made two diet changes, and this was one of them. I reduced the amount of animal product in my diet, and though I have not completely cut them out, I have seen significant health benefits. My autoimmune symptoms that I have had for years are gone, and I am off of all lupus medication. This is not a scientific study, this is purely anecdotal, but it means a lot to me, and I will continue to pursue reducing animal products in my diet until, perhaps, I am meat/dairy, etc... free. It seems to me that if we are in the grip of any disease, the least we can do is take note of Dr. Campbell's massive study and try changing our diet. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. And, if we are healthy, we might want to do what we can to stay that way.
very informative - great read!.......2007-09-29
This book was very informative and gives you a lot to think about. Interesting and brings up a lot of points about diet and disease. A great read for anyone who thinks about what they eat and wants to live a healthy lifestyle.
