great for "interior decorating".......2007-07-23
This is a nice product but it wasn't what I was hoping for in the end. I wanted/need something more like a 3-ring binder to hold samples, manuals, contracts, etc. This spiral bound book will hold small amounts of tiny paint chip samples and the like but there is not enough room in the pockets for much else. If you're looking for somewhere to record the ins and outs of your interior decorating escapades, this book is for you.
Great Tool - Nice Design.......2007-01-19
I bought this book as we are building our first house this year and I wanted somewhere to record all the information regarding contractors, colours, fixtures, fittings, etc as we went along with the building process. I have to say that this book is perfect for that!
There's plenty of spaces to go through room by room recording all the information so you can really keep track of what's going in to your home. I also like the fact that after the build is over, I have places to record maintenance work done, information about the utility companies in the area, etc so I can use it as an ongoing tool and not just an organiser while the house is being built. There is also a great section for future planning towards the back.
I think what I like most about this book though is the design. It's great to look at inside, using modern designs and colours, with a useful pocket inside for bits and pieces (can't remember if there is more than one but there might be). I looked at a lot of 'homeowner' type journals (I spent a really LONG time looking) and found that this one looked the best as well as being the most practical tool for my purposes.
All in all, I think this is a great buy either for those who are building or those already in established homes.
Helps keep everything straight.......2005-08-17
This book is awesome for any busy homeowner. There are suggestions for keeping organized as you do all types of renovations--everything from from painting to dry wall to new appliances. I love having one single place to keep all our paint chips, swatches, etc. It's so much easier than a blank notebook because they have lines for everything you need to record.
You probably don't need this book........2004-07-17
I read about this book in a magazine and was eager to get it. Being a first time home buyer/owner, I really thought it would be a useful tool. When it arrived I was very disappointed. 1/3 of the book is devoted to dreams and plans for your house (I already have a notebook for that) and the rest is for writing down information about appliances, paint, repairs, etc. I returned the book and will be starting a notebook. A 3-ring binder will suffice for me. However, for an unorganized person this book might be great.

EZFUN GUIDE to WALT DISNEY WORLD.......2007-04-24
A GREAT GUIDE, THE AUTHOR IS SUPER, WELL WORTH THE MONEY
EZ FUN GUIDE WDW 2007 - GREAT BOOK !.......2007-02-15
THIS RESOURCE MATERIAL IS A BIT EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO SOME OF THE OTHER BOOKS, AND AT FIRST SIGHT IT DOESNT APPEAR TO LOOK LIKE A LOT OF MATERIAL -
BUT IT IS WORTH IT!
IT IS A FUN BOOK TO LOOK THRU!
I WOULD SUGGEST PURCHASING IT 6 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR TRIP, SO YOU HAVE TIME TO MAKE MENTAL NOTES OF ALL YOU WANT TO DO AND YOU MAY EVEN WANT TO PACK IT WITH YOU.
A fun and useful guide.......2007-01-20
I really like this guide book. I own many WDW guide books and this is one I would recommend to others. It has the most helpful maps of any WDW guide book out there. It isn't as in depth as some others but it provides a very good overview and lots of helpful planning sheets to fill out. I will be purchasing the next edition !
A good guidebook.......2006-09-25
This guidebook for Walt Disney World isn't the most informative (that would be the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World by Bob Sehlinger) nor the most beautiful (that would be the deluxe version of the Passporter Guide to Walt Disney World by Jennifer Marx), but it is still a good book to buy if you want the basics in an easy-to-understand presentation or if you have the other two books and simply want a third perspective from a thoughtful author.
As someone who has never been to Walt Disney World, I bought a copy of every guidebook I could find. I'm eternally grateful to Bob Sehlinger for his great book with its volumes of very useful information. And I deeply appreciate the thoughtful touches and extra tidbits tucked into the Passporter volume. But this book offered an interesting take on the park maps - they're very informative and, for someone who hadn't yet been to Disney World, they made it much easier to understand and visualize the parks, their layout, and where every single attraction, restaurant, and gift shop was within that layout.
The tips included are also nice, as are the planning documents and the information on things to do at Disney World aside from going to the various theme and water parks.
I think this book is definitely worth the price.
Disney World Guide.......2006-08-05
Very nice book. Useful in finding info for the seperate Disney parks. Planning forms appear they would be useful, however I had already booked my trip so did not get a chance to use them. also good planning tips throughout.

Excellent organizer!.......2006-11-10
I bought this book/organizer because I can be a little [...] retentive with details and I wasn't sure exactly where to start since I'm the first in my family to plan a wedding in the last 20 years. it has been extremely helpful in both information and organization. It does work! Plus, there are a ton of worksheets in it that think of things I would normally have forgotten about until it was too late. Very helpful!
This planner gives careful attention to all wedding tasks.......2005-03-24
Your wedding vision is the starting point in Your Stress Free Wedding Planner - Expert's Best Secrets to Creating the Wedding of Your Dreams by Judy Allen. After couples complete an independent questionnaire, they will have a better understanding of their thoughts and dreams about creating a custom wedding. This planner gives careful attention to all wedding tasks, therefore, leaving no assignment unaccomplished. The only drawback for this planner would be difficulty removing the pages from its spiral binding as the planner recommends for copymaking.
Straightforward and helpful wedding planner.......2004-11-08
I have purchased four different wedding planners and miscellaneous wedding planning books over the last year and this is one worth buying. All the wedding related books I have purchased have some helpful things and some not so helpful things but this one I have not found a page in it that has not been helpful. The book breaks the planning process down into ten easy steps to simplify the planning process. This book also has a handful of different questionnaires for you and your fiancée to take. The wedding vision questionnaire helps you better understand each other's "dream" wedding and then helps you to make that into "our dream wedding". It also includes questionnaires for choosing a ceremony site, reception site, supplier questionnaires and many worksheets to help you plan your big day. As you will see if you look at reviews of the other event planning books by this author she knows what she is talking about when it comings to planning a corporate party or a wedding. I would highly recommend this book to anyone planning a wedding who would like to not go insane in the process.

single parent, 1st time buyer must.......2007-03-15
I purchased this book for a friend of mine who happens to be a single parent and in the market for buying a home. This book kept her a step ahead. Her "ducks" where so in a row that her realtor said I have never seen a transaction go through so smoothly. I'm in the market now and she strongly encouraged me to pick one up for myself. I love it.
PeggySchultz.biz - THE South Suburban Chicago Real Estate EXPERT.......2006-05-26
My clients would absolutely love this book! In fact, it would be very helpful for Sellers too. Great insight as to what Buyer's are looking for. Of course, any Realtor worth their commission should be giving their clients all of this information from day one.
I prepare an extensive spiral bound notebook customized for my client's needs and market place.

Not as helpful as author's previous book.......2005-03-11
I would recommend _Starting Out_ (Davis's previous book) over this one. That book (Starting Out) is the best book on buying a house I've seen and I've looked at dozens. This book seems to contain some of the same information, but less of it. I think the take-along workbook idea, at least in this format, is a failure. The spiral binding is flimsy. All of the pages of my copy are falling out and it hasn't seen much use. The workbook idea is good, but not flexible enough. Sure you could make copies of a page if you needed another sheet for interviewing a real estate agent and you could write out some more of your house wish list items if you found there weren't enough lines, but it doesn't seem worth it. I think most people would be more comfortable with whatever organizational system they already use: a paper planner, a PDA, just typing things out on the computer, whatever. The content is great, but you can get that ( and more of it) in her other book.

An Inspirational Journal That Is A Work Of Art.......2007-07-15
This journal is just absolutely beautiful. The dreamy colors and landscape on the front, back, and spine of the cover are just inspirational! But wait! The inside of the front and back cover are also covered with more beautiful scenery! Just take one look at the cover, and you just have to know that your day may have been lousy, but there is still beauty in the world, and all will be well! This journal has about 200 pages (counting both sides of the pages). The pages are a very light pink with a 'water mark' image of the picture found on the inside covers. A treasure for the romantics. Enjoy!
A WONDERFUL JOURNAL.......2006-06-05
BECKY KELLY'S WORK IS SO BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE HER JOURNALS AND WOULD NOT BE WITHOUT ONE. I USE HER JOURNALS FOR TRIPS I TAKE AND I LOG EACH DAY OF THE TRIP ON A SEPARATE PAGE.
An absolute Dream of a journal!.......2002-10-31
I've been a fan of Becky Kelly's artwork for a long time through her cards and am so very happy that now she has books and journals available! This Dream journal has a peaceful, beautiful cover and the light pink pages inside are whimsical and look straight out of a fantasy. The colors are so soft and gorgeous and her characters are always sweet. I will definitely use this to log all sweet dreams. I highly recommend this beautiful journal as a gift for someone special and definitely for yourself!! It makes me smile every time I look at it.

Are These Dream-Busters Keeping You From Going After Your Dreams?
Today
With Just A Little Encouragement, You Can Take Control Of Your Life And Truly Live A Richer, More Balanced Life Doing Work You Really Love
"By the time you've hit your 20's," says Walter Anderson, author of Courage is a Three Letter Word and The Greatest Risk of All, "you'll have heard a whopping 25,000 "can'ts."
Twenty-five THOUSAND
that's a lot of "can'ts."
"You can't work at what you love and make a good living." "Impossible. Can't be done."
What most people call "reality" is a very poor place to nurture dreams
and to share them to others? Forget it.
Erma Bombeck once said, "It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else." Erma knew that other people's fear, skepticism and negativity can be as contagious as the flu. And unless you've built up your immune system, these dream stompers can knock you - and your precious dreams - for a loop.
Don't believe me? Imagine announcing to your family and friends that you've decided to quit your job to become a writer, or a personal organizer, or an aroma-therapist, or work with animals, or pursue your love for antiques, or travel the world for a year. What do you think their reaction would be? Would they encourage you to "go for it?" Or might it sound more like this
"Yeah, right in your dreams."
"It'll never work."
"Better to play it safe."
If you listen to the naysayers out there, the message is loud and clear. Stay stuck, don't even dare to hope, forget your dreams.
Is it any wonder you're probably finding it hard to take control of your life and whole-heartedly pursue your dreams?
Think about how all the "It'll never work," "Forget your crazy dreams," "You should be happy that you have a job," messages have buried themselves deep into your psyche and affected how you see the world.
For example, if you sat down right now and took a personal inventory of your life, would your list look something like this?
~I'm miserable in my job. But it's impossible to make any money doing what I love.
~I feel like life is passing me by... but there's nothing I can do about it.
~I keep thinking there has to be more to life than this
. I suppose I should just forget my crazy dreams
Sound familiar? Okay, so what do you do?
Well, for starters you might want to think about what will happen if you do nothing. Close your eyes and picture what your life will be like if you continue to be ruled by your fears and self-doubts and heed the red lights thrown up by your well-meaning family and friends. In other words, imagine staying where you are right now
day after day, year after year dragging yourself through the work week until you retire. Pretty scary isn't it?
Now imagine feeling encouraged and empowered to go after your dream. Picture yourself looking back at your life and basking in the self-satisfaction of knowing you went for it
. If you like the way that felt then you've already begun to experience how powerful it is to readjust your thinking. You see the thing is
If you really want to create a more balanced, rewarding life doing work you truly love, you'll need to create a mindset that will instantly turn `can't' into `can.' There will always be dream dashers.
But the world is also full of people who believe in the power of a dream. There's just no better way to adjust your mindset than by "hanging out" with a group of people who know how to guide you along your path and give you that inspirational jolt you need to stop wishing and start doing.
That's exactly what you'll get in Yes You Can! The Inspirational Kick in the Pants You Need To Take Control Of Your Life and Go After Your Dreams.
In Yes You Can!, I've gathered today's foremost life-change experts to supercharge your efforts and ignite your passion. People like

An Absolutely Fabulous Read!.......2006-07-27
I think I was most surprised by the fact that this book is a compilation of articles by different people. Once I got past that, I began to realize that each person had, to varying degrees, experienced the anxiety I've felt at being locked into a job that brings no joy. To realize that there are others are taking that leap into the unknown and finding happiness while the "normals" stand by and scratch their heads at what is surely insanity is massive relief. And to find that these "insane" people are holding their hands out to the rest of us who are a little afraid of our inner "insanity" to show us the way and to help us to realize that not going after our dreams is indeed the end of our happiness. Going after our dreams should be the "normal" thing to do, and Thank You to people like Valerie Young, Barbera Sher, Jerry Stocking ("Quitting A Job - Without Plan B", read the "Yes You Can" book and you'll know what I'm talking about!), and others who are helping us fraidy cats get out there and take control of our lives!
