Good for someone new to editing.......2007-06-29
As someone new to video photography and video editing I am finding Premiere Elements 3.0 easy to use with the help of the lessons in Classroom in a Book. The instructions are clear, complete and easy to follow. I highly recommend it, particularly for someone new to editing.
The book isn't bad but I've had problems with the files provided.......2007-05-15
The book provided with this has some good info and I can see that it would be useful with the files sent on DVD. The only problem I've had has been with the DVD. It doesn't want to load the lessons. I'm trying to resolve it but so far have not been too successful.
Best Classroom in a Book Evert!.......2007-03-09
I have used Adobe's Classroom in a Book for many different programs over the years and this dual program collection is perhaps the best I have ever seen. It ties together Photoshop Elements which I have been using since the Elements 2 edition with Premiere, which is for me an introduction to editing videos and CDs. I especially like the online videos that purchasers of Photoshop and Premiere Elements can access. Please keep these training sessions coming.

Classroom in a book..........2007-02-17
I always wanted to learn the basics of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements and their use. I purchased this item with that purpose in mind and I got everything I wanted and then some. Great for beginners and serves as a good reference tool in my library for photo and video editing. Tip: follow instructions to the "T" and you will get great results. I finished all the lessons in book and in the end I wanted MORE. Adobe Creative Team did well and I thank you. Price is very good as well.
Excellent Introductory Book.......2007-02-12
This book is absolutely necessary if you are new to Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Easy to follow and relatively complete.

Doesn't work on Macs.......2007-08-18
1 star because I was unable to open the files on a Mac. 0 stars for Amazon not mentioning anywhere on this page that the DVD rom won't work on a Mac. The book is probably as great as others have said. I've had other books from these folks and they were very good. The book I received clearly says "DVD included for Windows" in the lower left hand corner. Try clicking on the picture of this book and enlarging: The exclusion is not there. If you have a Mac look elsewhere, I'm sending mine back.
If You're Serious About Learning Premiere Pro 2 This is the Book to Get.......2007-06-09
At this writing I'm about halfway through the book. I've run across one or two typos and one case where the title templates weren't available for a particular lesson (that's probably more of a problem with my version of Premiere than this book & DVD). I'm going through this book cover to cover rather than spending $900+ on UCLA Extension classes that I can't afford, especially when I don't know if I'll end up getting any work after investing that time and money. This is supposed to be the same book that they use for their classes. I know of someone who learned this software the same way and is working full time as an editor now. If you're serious about learning Premiere Pro 2 this is the book to get.
Good book very poor editor.......2007-03-12
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Classroom in a Book is a good book for beginners if you can get past the numerous grammatical, spelling, and incorrect and missing steps found throughout the book.
I would recommend this book but only after warning people that sometimes it gets a little frustrating when you have to re-read the same sentence over and over trying to figure out what the author is talking about, since two or three steps are missing.
If I was the author of this book I would be asking the editor (that is if there was any) for my money back.
Excelent.......2007-01-09
Need nothing more than this book.It has exactly what I needed to know.Of course, I needed to work deep inside instructions, several times. However, I feel like a master on the subject. Even though, we all recognize We are all advancing on the subject ,and it changes constantly and fast
Well worth the time........2007-01-05
I was actually put off by the Adobe press books after going over their enclosed "manuals". But this book gets you into the program in a manner that is teaching and reasonably pleasant. If you can make yourself stick with the lesson format, following the described steps, you will learn the basics of this program. And for Premiere Pro, that is saying a lot. This will help that scary learning curve.

Hollywood for PREL 3.......2007-08-23
The book describes how to do about 20 special effects using Adobe Premiere Elements, Ver. 3.0. The author does an excellent job of describing the effects and how to set them up. I would have liked the book much more if the author described how to do many more special effects. I am left wishing I could do things I have seen in other people's work that are not covered in this book.
Hollywood Special Effects...Excellent!.......2007-08-19
This book is one of the best instructional pieces I have ever seen. I am very pleased I selected it. Carl Plummer has done a wonderful job of extracting and presenting Adobe's material in a way everyone can understand it. The detailed instructional layout and photos are far superior to Adobe's boring, and exhausting operation manual, which appears to be written by engineers and techs with no clue to the learning curve of the consumer. I would like to see a manual written by Carl on Photoshop Elements 5 as well.
Hollywood Special Effects.......2007-06-01
The book is a compilation of special effects and how to do them in Premiere Elements. Well almost. The first tutorial did not look anything like the original SW opener. But I still learned a lot from it.
Hollywood Special Effects with Adobe Premier Elements 3.......2007-06-01
This is most definitely a book which is worthy of its 5 star rating. It is well written and well illustrated with screen shots tied to easy to follow step-by-step instructions. Overall, it forms a good base for many effects one could only guess at on their own; but inspires one to think about how the included effects could be used in our own work. Also like that the included DVD contains all of the project video, music and sound effects. Great book - well worth the money.
This is way to learn Adobe Premiere Elements.......2007-03-29
The book is excellent guide to using Premiere software. The CD has all the material and style of writing is excellent. All user guides should be written this way. As others have said before, the book will inspire you to create better videos. So happy splicing and dicing.

Customer Reviews:
unified view.......2005-08-07
Photoshop Elements lets you enhance static images, while Premiere Elements lets you compose movies. As you might expect, there is close correlation between the ideas in both packages. So Adobe offers this book that gives a unified view.
Though it should be quickly said that it is written in such a way as to allow random access. That is, if you have a specific problem or task, involving one of those packages, you can look for any relevant section. Assuming it exists, you do not have to read earlier sections to understand that one.
The other advantage of the book is that it is authoritative.

Great Book and Great Guy.......2007-01-10
Jacob Rosenberg's Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Studio Techniques is great whether you're a Premiere newbie, or a seasoned vet.
I myself fall somewhere between those two, so it worked out perfectly. Jacob writes in a way that makes you feel comfortable - you can easily tell he is an avid user of Premiere Pro (not to be confused with an Avid user...video editing humor, anyone?). From his thorough yet laid back instructions to his various real-world examples, it's clear that he's not just authoring a paint-by-numbers look at some new piece of software. Jacob has been with Premiere from it's early stages of life, and in some cases has even had a hand in its evolution.
I specifically wanted this book for its insight on editing workflows, especially in regards to 24p and 24p HD projects in Premiere Pro. The included companion DVD has chapters devoted entirely to his experience onlining the HD feature documentary, Dust to Glory, with Premiere Pro on a PC...so this book was a no-brainer!
I was even able to contact the author himself and meet face to face to discuss the various intricacies of conforming an offline edit to an online all within Premiere Pro for a feature I'm currently working on. He was/continues to be incredibly helpful, and is truly the most knowledgeable person on Premiere Pro that I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
Bottom line, buy this book if you want insight on Premiere Pro.
Adobe Premiere Pro 2 book opens the door.......2007-01-09
I have been using Premiere since the days of 5.0 - and I think I have been applying only those same skills to each upgrade I purchased -- with maybe adding just a few new tricks. Mr. Rosenberg's clear explanations and teaching have opened up a whole new world of Premiere editing for me, and my newest DVD effort is showing the results "in spades."
The DVD included is just perfect. Adobe should ship this book with the software.
Great resource for Premiere Pro 2.0.......2006-11-08
This is a very concise manual, well written and printed in full color. I think anyone trying to learn Premiere or just wanting a reference for what's new in 2.0 could not make a better choice than this book. Its great to see an author cover everything so thoroughly, and explain things so well.
Buy this book!.......2006-08-03
OK, let me cut right to it. I am a very picky student. Having worked as a technical training I expect a lot out of training materials.
A few, but not all, or my expectations are:
* A logical flow from lesson to lesson
* Clear and concise explanations
* Real-work applications
* The trainer demonstrating he/she is not only a subject matter expert, but also a great teacher."
* To have fun and get inspired!
* Lot and lots of value for my money
* Well edited materials
I think the Adobe Press series is great at this, and the shining example in the series at the moment is Premiere Pro 2.0 Studio Techniques by Jacob Rosenberg.
If this sounds like a plug for the author you're right. His materials have gotten me up and running faster than any other training tools I have come across. Honestly.
Trust me when I say if you are using (or plan to use) Premiere you want this book on your shelf. (note: you should also get the Total Training DVD series Jacob hosts. I used 1.5 while learning on 2 and it was great. I know the new version must be even better.
OK, don't trust me. Go to the store and flip through this book. I would bet money you will buy it.
Jacob Rosenberg / Premiere Pro - Perfect Combination!!!!.......2006-07-24
I started reading Jacob's Rosenberg's training books when I started using Adobe's Premiere Pro 1.5.
His 1.5 book was incredibly helpful during the initial introduction to Premiere's layout, functions, and features.
Then from time to time I reference it for hints and tips on items such as picture in picture editing, color correction, and the like.
With the release of Premiere Pro 2.0, I went right for Jacob's new book as soon as it was available.
Jacob Rosenberg has a unique way to clearly explain the workflow ins and outs of this software in a manner that makes learning it almost as fun as using it!
I use this book, and previously Jacob's 1.5 book, when introducing Premiere Pro 2.0 to fellow editors whether through summer video editing seminars or when working on professional projects.
Thank you Jacob Rosenberg for making this book available. It stands well on its own, and is especially complimentary to your Total Training DVD Series.

Customer Reviews:
What a dissapointment !.......2007-04-12
I was looking for a manual for Premiere Elements 3.0 but this book doesn't cover this version. Maybe it is good for version 1.0
Helpful book, but doesn't reflect Premiere Elements 2.0.......2006-01-16
I bought this book because I found the Premiere Elements user guide less than helpful. Adobe Premiere Elements for Dummies does contain a lot of helpful information and tips, but my impression is that I'll need to read the book cover to cover rather than using it as a reference guide. Be aware that this book's screen shots do not reflect Premiere Elements 2.0. I don't know how different 2.0 is from previous versions, but this was a source of frustration for me when I was trying to find out how to "single step" through a clip.
The Book Adobe should have Written!.......2005-08-04
I have been working with Adobe Elements for about 6 months now. I started with Adobe's tutorial and then their "Classroom in a Book" series and have created numerous multi hour DVD's from old VHS video I have. As with most books from the makers of software, they leave a lot of how too stuff out, so I started to look elsewhere for more info on how to use all of the great things in Elements. I saw this book and it's rating so I figured I'd give it a try. For the $16 it cost, even if I learned just two new helpful things it would be worth the money. Never having read any other ".... For Dummies" book I had no Idea what to expect.
I am currently half way through the book and I have to say I have learned not just two but a lot of new things. There are a lot of the basics in the book for people just starting out with Elements but it also goes into detail on how to use all of the fancy transitions and effects very clearly. Before this book I had no idea on how to use some of the more complex effects properly. It's is clear that the author is very familiar with Premere Elements and video editing. The book is worth three times the $16 it cost.
The only thing I felt should have been done, but was not, was that the pictures should be in color. Even if this drove the price up $5 a book it would be better. I say this because often the author refers to the color of an item (The yellow line) in the pictures and unless you are sitting in front of your PC with Elements up or you are very familiar with the Elements windows, all you are going to see is a black and white photo.
Bottom line - A great book, buy it, you won't be disappointed.
I will definitely be looking for other books by Keith Underdahl. Hopefully he knows Photoshop Elements too!
Great advice.......2005-07-25
This book is just what I needed. I had just acquired the Premiere Elements Program and understood the very basics from the anemic book that comes with the program, and the DVD that introduces the program. Premiere Elements for Dummies took me to the details needed in putting together projects, editing the clips, adding the soundtrack and music, and getting it to disc. I read other books, and this was the best one - not too basic, not too detailed or advanced.
Definitely worth buying.......2005-03-19
This book has the practical advise that you really need to get results. I highly recommend reading Chapter 2, Equipping Yourself for Movie Making, even before buying the program itself. I had done some video editing with other consumer grade programs, but was new to Premiere. This really helped me get up to speed quickly. Skip the Adobe tutorials and manual and read this very reasonably priced, easy to read and concise book.

Easy to learn stuff........2007-02-01
Anyone would easily think that Adobe premiere pro would be such a hard thing to learn how to do. Thanks to Jeff Schell, that problem is over. With easy excercises, this book is the essential tool to help you understand how to use the problem much better. It teaches you the basic tools, guides, and shortcuts that can help you create your own masterpiece (whatever that may be). The book also includes the disc that helps you step by step to create a simple video. I highly recommend this book for those who definitly want to learn Premiere Pro. It's Good Stuff
Outstanding.......2007-01-20
A book that I can read and understand without breaking into a sweat.
It solved one of my big problems inside five minutes.
You will not regret buying this book.
Love it!.......2007-01-11
I would rate myself at the intermediate level when it comes to editing. I was fairly new to Premiere Pro 2 (was using 6.5 before) when I purchased the book. There were some things I knew already that the book described but I didn't know a lot of the shortcuts. It also taught me a great deal about using all of the Audio features, so that was a huge bonus for me. All in all, I thought the book was great. It was easy to work through and follow. It also allows you to skip around throughout chapters easily.
Excellent learning aid!.......2006-12-23
I have used both of Jeff's books (Pro 1.5and 2.) and find them the best on the market in my opinion. Clear, concise, very easy to understand and a great teaching tool. He makes what could be a difficult task, easy!
Highly recommended!
Premiere Pro 2 Hands-On-Training.......2006-11-11
I have purchased a very large number of computer books over the years in an effort to teach myself the use of various applications. I purchased HOT Premiere Pro 1.5 book and liked it, so when I finally managed to acquire Premiere 2.0 recently I immediately purchased Adobe Premiere Hands-On-Training 2.0 by Jeff Schell. As an educator myself, I have to say that this is without a doubt the best "how to" guide that I have ever used. The exercises are terrific, and the detailed explanations make it possible for even a neophyte such as me to achieve a confidence building understanding. If you are intimidated by the learning curve of this very complex application, fear not, for Mr. Schell breaks each task down into incremental steps that foster understanding. The accompanying CD-ROM provides all the needed resources other than the application itself that are needed to gain a fundamental knowledge of Premiere 2.0. This is one of the good ones!

Premiere Elements 3 users.......2007-03-17
Premiere Elements 3 users, this book is for you too! Being new to video editing, I was wary of a book that was not version specific. No need to worry, this book works well with version 3. Whether you are a beginner or advanced this book has it all. The format makes this book superior to others. The inside front cover has 'Contents at a Glance' index that directs you to the section for a specific task eliminating wasted time searching or reading unneeded info.
Just pick a task and go straight to that section. Each section has a guide on what to read before you begin and other related topics, key terms, tips, and best of all step-by-step instructions with illustrations.
After reading the dry manual, it was wonderful to have an easy to read, concise, and informative book. This book takes the frustration out of video editing and puts in the fun. The authors also have online tutorials that make a good companion to the book at [...].
Easy to use.......2007-01-11
This book is very well organized and easy to understand. As a newby to Premiere it was very helpful. I still refer to this book often and I think it is one of the reasons I feel proficient in Premiere today. It's only shortcoming is limited info on how to use the audio effects in Premiere
Must Have Resource.......2007-01-09
The software Premiere Elements 2 by Adobe is loaded with features and enables the user to create high-quality videos. Even for experienced Adobe users, help is needed for understanding all of PE2's amazing tools. This publication, PE2 in a Snap, gets an A for doing a wonderful job with precise and concise instructions and examples. It is not a manual that must be read from start to finish, but rather one where the user can jump in anywhere.
This is the book I've been looking for!!!.......2006-08-27
I've been using Premiere Elements for about a month. Until yesterday I've been slogging through the user manual and the help screens. I struggled to do the very basics--creatung slide shows, capturing video and gluing clips together, saving the output to DVD. Nothing fancy at all.
After spending some time on Adobe's Premiere Elements user forums, I kept seeing mention of this book, so I decided to order it. I can't believe how many cobwebs this book has swept away for me! It's organized well, with an extensive index, helpful contents at a glance, and plenty of screen shots. It contains beginner-level instructions, but also contains enough advanced level ideas and techniques that my head is spinning with new possibilities. I can't wait to modify the amateurish home movies I made before owning the book.
My heartfelt thanks to the authors for letting me USE Premiere Elements rather than fighting with it!!!
Practical applications of a powerful program.......2006-08-25
I don't care what anyone says -- sometimes reading the manual is just too painful. Not that Adobe's manual is bad, it's just... dry, and doesn't really show you practical applications of the program's features. . The "Premiere Elements 2 In A Snap" book makes learning Premiere Elements' ins and outs fun, and does it in a way that you don't have to weed through endless paragraphs to figure out what needs to be done.
Want to do a "Chroma Key" effect? Just turn to that page and follow the instructions.
This book really makes what is not an intuitive program understandable and not so formidable. Halfway through the book you find yourself saying, "Hey, I really CAN get the hang of this program!"
Kudos to the authors for creating what is now my basic "how-to handbook" for this powerful, complex program.

Book Description
Move over Final Cut Pro. There's a new king of the digital video editing hill, and it doesn't even work on a Mac (though it may be enough to lure some Mac loyalists over). Eschewing cross-platform support for a focus on speed, features, and a quickness to market that was impossible to achieve with both Mac and Windows versions, the brand-new Windows XP¿only Adobe Premiere Pro sets a new standard for desktop digital video editing. Here to get you up to speed on it quickly and efficiently is the first and last word on the subject from the folks behind Premiere Pro--the Adobe Creative Team. This project-based volume covers not just the basics of working with audio, creating transitions, and producing titles but also all that's new (and revolutionary) in Premiere Pro: three-point color correction, multiple timelines, a new audio mixer, enhanced media management, and more. Best of all, the accompanying DVD includes real footage that you can practice on!

Doesn't explain the how's/why's of Premiere editing.......2006-02-16
Being new to NLE editing, I bought Premiere Pro and this book. Unfortunately, the books simply tells the user to click this, and drag that. But it does not say WHY the user is doing these actions. I could follow most of the examples in the book, but couldn't figure out how to actually use the program for my own projects! For me, I need an explanation of why I'm supposed to click/drag/type instead of a "march-in-lockstep" and don't ask why mentality!
Absolutely Horrible.......2005-10-24
Adobe should be absolutely ashamed for actually releasing such a piece of literary garbage. This book will definitely teach you some decent basics of PPro if you have a good tolerance for mistakes and don't mind spending a significant amount of time trying to reverse engineer things to try and figure out what the book 'MEANT' to say.
One can look past a couple mistakes or typos, maybe even expect them, but I was utterly shocked at the sheer number of mistakes contained within this publication, it defies believe.
I read reviews before paying full retail price at a local bookstore, so I had an idea what I was getting into and what to expect, but I figured, "Hey... how bad can it really be?" and chose to give it a try anyway with my expectations adjusted. Just for the heck of it, I started out keeping track of the number of mistakes I came across... I finally gave up trying to count them by page 175 (out of 505 total pages). I would be completely shocked to discover some editor or proof readers were NOT fired for giving the green light to release this book.
My advice is do not waste your money on this book, choose another publication.

Adobe Premier Pro.......2005-10-22
I bought this book and believe it is very easy to understand. I just bought Adone Premier pro Studio technics. Both of them are very useful.
Average.......2005-08-22
Well I am a multimedia student with only 2 months of Premiere Pro experience under my belt. This is a great program, and I enjoy using it and will continue to use it. Classroom in a book is what they gave me for my textbook at my college, and though it shows a newbie like me how to use the interface of Premiere Pro and some of it's cool features, I also found errors in the book that were so obvious. When I was working on chapter 6, I was supposed to use the zigzag effect and when I tried to complete the chapter I found that there was no zigzag effect in this version. There is no excuse for this kind of error. However my college publishes their textbooks through a third party publisher, who will remain nameless, that are absolutley horrible, so I'm glad I got Classroom in a Book instead of the garbage that I'm normally given. If you want to learn the basics of Premiere Pro this is about as average as you can get. Try to find a better resource if you can.
Not quite the book I'd hoped.......2005-01-11
Although I like this series and I enjoyed the example movie that's the basis for all the exercises in this book, I'm afraid this edition is unnecessarily confusing, particularly for beginners. It has an unforgivable number of errors in the text and lessons. And it's a bit wordy in its directions without, in some cases, explaining well enough for me why you are following a particular sequence of steps. And some of the lessons seem to have one too many things jammed into them. It's just not particularly user-friendly.
Apparently, what the editors of this series did was to take an earlier version of the book--I'm familiar with the Premiere 6.0 version and I can see the similarities to that-and update it to the Premiere Pro version of the program and a new movie that the user gradually assembles. Working on one related movie, rather than a series of short, unrelated little projects, might be a good idea although personally I didn't mind the fact that there wasn't one big project in the earlier book. That's just a matter of preference, as is the content of the project (which high school age students find somewhat silly.) What's unfortunate is that there are so many "stoppers" in the lessons.
Honestly, the editing borders on the unprofessional. There are lesson where you're asked to import random sound from the old book (in French, no less) that's totally unrelated to the current clips just to get in some pointers about putting video effects on a clip. In the lesson on effects, you're asked to put a zig-zag effect on an image; well, that worked fine on a cup of hot chocolate in the earlier version, but, unfortunately it's one of the effects no longer in the current program. There's a lesson on sound where you're asked to open a partially completed project; many of the clips necessary for the lesson are not in the lesson folder. I found all but one of them is other folders, eventually, but the process was time-consuming and, of course, you think you've made the error not the editors of the book. In the same lesson the effects workspace is inaccurately described. And there are other errors, I think. The problem seems to be just haste and sloppy editing. You lose confidence that you're being guided through these concepts correctly. I'd wished I'd waited for a second (corrected) edition of the book.
When I emailed the publisher asking for errata data, I didn't get a response for over a week and then just to let me know that they'd "been inundated with user queries," had forwarded my query to the errata editor, and that "Adobe is not always responsive to us in matters of errata." Over a month later, I have not heard more.
It's a shame because this could be an excellent book with just a few changes. Or at least a "heads-up" warning about problems.
Besides the errors, I'd suggest slightly more focused lessons. A couple of chapters are just too long for one sitting. And there are lessons where, in the interest of teaching one more thing or an alternative way of doing things, you do a step only to undo it immediately. To me, that's not beginner-friendly. The chapter on opacity is a bit short on transparency key but includes a lot of information on the waveform monitor, color management, and vectorscopes that really doesn't amount to much a beginner would find practical. It probably belongs in another chapter or an appendix. The chapter on integrating with other Adobe products is sort of confusing; you basically add a lot of cross-dissolve transitions the hard way to, apparently, get a feel for Adobe After Effects. I'd prefer the lessons streamlined and the "extras" in an additional chapter, glossary or appendix. Perhaps in an effort to highlight what's new in this version of Premiere, the editors have lost sight of what should be their primary focus: to get beginners up and running with the program quickly and confidently.

Too much irrelevance, not enough basics.......2004-09-05
I'm a 'dummie' when it comes to PremierPro, and I found this book hopeless. It is long on chatty asides and advice, and gets you lost in all sorts of tangents. I JUST WANT TO LEARN HOW TO EDIT!! My suggestion (beyond a new author) is to restructure the book so that it works through basic tutorials first and then more advanced editing later in the book. As it is now structured, all 'editing' info gets lumped into one chapter, from basic to advanced, and you can easily lose track of your objective as a student. Even then, basic questions are hard to find. Like 'how do I break up a long clip that I've uploaded into smaller clip files'? I also found the index sucks. Want to find out about the 'trim' window? Looking for info on 'cutting'? Want to know how to turn on/off the timeline? Good luck on all these. In the end I found the Adobe online tutorials were far more clear and to the point. Don't waste your money on this one. PremierPro is complex, and this book confuses and frustrates more than it helps. I suspect it wasn't really written with dummies like me in mind: check out the mind boggling chapter on color correction...
Great Starting Point.......2003-02-13
If you are just entering the digital video world, and you don't know what a codec is, you need this book. The author explains everything and creates a foundation to build the concepts of video editing.
If you're already familiar with digital video, and you just want to know where all the buttons are in Premiere, simply to skip to the chapter on Video Editing and you're there.
The first half of the book drones on a bit about every possible preference and setting. This gets a bit dry. Be prepared to read the book twice, as much of the terms you won't understand until you experiment. Some things were glazed over e.g. I found 3-point editing to be an amazing feature.
Like other books I've read, the author really pushes single-track editing. I think single-track editing may be easier to explain, but A/B editing is much easier to visualize and work with. If you are familiar with other Adobe products, such as Photoshop, A/B editing works just like blending layers of a photograph.
This book covers version 6 as well as 6.5 - there's not a big difference between the two, unless you are really big on 'Titles'. There is a lot of great information getting your feet wet as a small-time movie producer - patents, royalties, and where to go for more information. I was left with the ability to do just about everything I wanted to do with my movies, but was left with some questions. This will not be the only book you buy on Premiere, but it should probably be the first.
A Great Guide to Premiere 6.5!.......2002-11-12
You want a book that really packs in some substance? If so, this book is for you. This author didn't waste time on stuff you already know. Rather, he clearly knows Premiere 6.5 and knows all of the inside info Adobe won't tell you. This book offers a concise primer of video editing terms and technology, giving us just the info we need to produce great movies for the Web or video. I highly recommend buying this book first, because you probably won't need any of the others.
