Easy, Sensible and Attractive.......2006-07-12
This book is a great read and a good introduction to the concept of color palettes arranged by time of day. The book is easy to understand and the layout is very pleasing and attractive. The suggested color combinations and photographs included are very effective-what I've always expected in a book dealing with such a visual topic but have rarely found.
The only reason I rate the book a "4" instead of a "5" is because some of the sections, the men's section for example, are too brief and really just touch on the concept outlined.
A worthwhile investment for up-to-date information regarding color and preparing a pleasing wardrobe.

Book Description
A memoir by the woman who knew Bob Marley best--his wife, Rita.
Rita Marley grew up in the slums of Trench Town, Jamaica. Abandoned by her mother at a very young age, she was raised by her aunt. Music ran in Rita's family, and even as a child her talent for singing was pronounced. By the age of 18, Rita was an unwed mother, and it was then that she met Bob Marley at a recording studio in Trench Town. Bob and Rita became close friends, fell in love, and soon, she and her girlfriends were singing backup for the Wailers. At the ages of 21 and 19, Bob and Rita were married.
The rest is history: Bob Marley and the Wailers set Jamaica and the world on fire. But while Rita displayed blazing courage, joy, and an indisputable devotion to her husband, life with Bob was not easy. There were his liaisons with other women -- some of which produced children and were conducted under Rita's roof. The press repeatedly reported that Bob was unmarried to preserve his "image." But Rita kept her self-respect, and when Bob succumbed to cancer in 1981, she was at his side. In the years that followed, she became a force in her own right -- as the Bob Marley Foundation's spokesperson and a performer in her reggae group, the I-Three. Written with author Hettie Jones, No Woman No Cry is a no-holds-barred account of life with one of the most famous musicians of all time.
In No Woman No Cry, readers will learn about the never-before-told details of Bob Marley's life, including:
--How Rita practiced subsistence farming when first married to Bob to have food for her family.
--How Rita rode her bicycle into town with copies of Bob's latest songs to sell.
--How Rita worked as a housekeeper in Delaware to help support her family when her children were young.
--Why Rita chose to befriend some of the women with whom Bob had affairs and to give them advice on rearing the children they had with Bob.
--The story of the attack on Bob which almost killed the two of them.
--Bob's last wishes, dreams, and hopes, as well as the details of his death, such as who came to the funeral (and who didn't).

The woman behind the man.......2007-08-20
I really enjoyed this book as I read it at the time of the 30th anniversary of the marvelous album "Exodus." Rita Marley reveals a different side to the Bob Marley story, seperating myth from the man, fact from fiction and adding to the legend of his life with unknown tidbits. Her first person account deals with her life primarily as she was Bob Marley's wife. I was unaware of the hardships that they endured before "making it." Their early years were quite trying. Than later when they achieved a certain success it seems Mr. Marley needed the attention of many other women but Rita dutifully stood by her man. I enjoyed the book and her account, in Jamaican-style-English of Bob Marley's rise to International fame. If you like Bob Marley you need to read this book for a better understanding of the man and his music. Rita Marley is to be commended for her contribution to the Bob Marley legacy.
Rita had plenty 2 Cry About...........2006-09-28
I read this book this past summer and loved it - it was the first book i read about bob & i am glad i chose her book first....Rita went thru alot, i definitely see bob differently - i sense she did sugar coat the book at times, the book makes me respect Rita more and bob less. His woman had plenty of reasons to cry.
Great Book.......2006-07-10
No Woman No Cry: My Life with Bob Marley is an awesome testimony of a woman of strength and virtue. I am a huge Bob Marley fan and Rita Marley told her story with love, passion compassion and truth, concerning her relationship with Bob Marley. Through her story she makes you feel as if you want to comfort, applaude and cry with her all at the same time. She reveals the very core of her struggles with Bob, his fame, his affairs, the business, the family and his death, and her life after Bob. And she writes not as a bitter woman but a woman who knew her destiny and her role as the wife of Bob Marley. I LOVED IT!
STRONGER WOMAN THAN I CAN EVER BE.......2006-04-06
THIS BOOK WAS EXCELLENT! THE STRUGGLES THAT THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH TOGETHER LETS YOU KNOW JUST HOW STRONG THEIR LOVE REALLY WAS. BEING A JAMAICAN WOMAN MYSELF, I KNOW HOW OUR JAMAICAN MEN CAN BE. BUT RITA HAD ALOT OF HEART STAYING WITH HIM ALL THESE YEARS EVEN THOUGH HE BLATANTLY FLAUNTED HIS WOMEN IN HER FACE. THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS HE MADE THEM PLAY THEIR POSITION BECAUSE NO ONE COULD TAKE HER PLACE. THIS WAS THE BEST AUTOBIOGRAPHY I HAVE EVER READ!
Wonderful tribute to a woman's love.......2006-03-01
This is a wonderful book. An initimate portrayal of Bob and Rita Marley's life from poverty to worldwide reknown. Its insights into how Rita dealt with marital infidelity and frequent absences from Bob Marley are also very interesting. Rita was one strong woman! Highly recommended whether you are a reggae fan or not

Customer Reviews:
Save your money buy the book without a CD.......2005-12-21
I have Color Harmony 2 without the CD. It is a great book (5 stars in my opinion). Therefor I also got the one with the CD.
THE CD DOES NOT RUN ON WINDOWS XP!!!!!!
There is no update available from Rockport publishing.
Palette Picker.......2001-10-05
This book is ok for the beginner, but I should have bought something more like the Designers Guide to Color Series. First Color Harmony 2 is basic art class. Second the cd rom is not what I thought it would be. I was expecting something more like a paint palette where I could create, or mix my own colors and then have the software comeup with the complementary, split-complementary, analagous combinations etc. Instead I am limited to the 106 individual programmed colors. So I was really disappointed. And didn't think it was worth the price.
Best book on color combinations, must-have for desingers.......2001-07-23
This is the best book on color I have found. It is a must have for anyone who has ever been confused about matching colors and creating the right mood. Though I was already fairly confident working with color, this book helped me a great deal by letting me see a wide variety of color combinations together.
The book begins by discussing the color wheel. This includes the facets of color such as hot, cold, light, dark, pale, bright, warm and cool as well as a great explanation of all the different color schemes. It is divided into over 20 different themes including romantic, friendly, earthy, fresh, calm, traditional, professional, magical, classic, tropical and energetic. For each of these themes a set of color schemes including monochromatic, primary, complementary, split-complementary, analogous, spilt, clash and neutral is shown. A brief tips section for using the themes in graphic design, interiors and fine art is also provided. In the back of the book there is a process color conversion chart that gives the CMYK values for each of the 106 colors used. Swatches that you can cut out are included. This is very useful for graphic designers.
A very helpful and versatile CD is included with this book as well. It allows you sort by color scheme or theme. You can also pick a color and then see all the color schemes that will work with it. Each color scheme is shown in several different forms and against black, white and gray. One of a color scheme's colors can be made bigger to be used as a background to the others as well. Colors can be saved and added to custom lists and exported to popular graphics programs like Photoshop and PageMaker. The color DIC number as well as RGB and CMYK values are also given.
The program does have some minor limitations. It can only search one aspect at a time. For instance you can't search for a rich theme with yellow. Also, if you search by color or color scheme you can't find out which theme set it originally belonged too. I found it a little hard to install and use at first as well.
This book and Color Harmony Workbook are pretty much identical in content. However, this one is smaller and contains a CD while the other has tear-out swatches. Because I was more interested in decorating my home the workbook was more useful to me. For a web or graphic designer using computers a lot this version will probably be of more help. If I had to select only one color book, this one or Color Harmony Workbook would be my first choice.
Good book, but the CD is severely outdated........2000-09-07
While I found the book to be useful, especially in the 'classic' swatch sections, the 'trendy' area is a bit outdated, being it's six years old.
Also, you're better off buying the version without the CD. Be cautioned, the CD is old, written for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95, uses a primitive 'drag folder onto your hard drive, click file and choose program to associate with' install procedure, and uses an included, older version of Oracle Media Objects player to run...it will not work on Windows NT 4.
Two Color Harmony 2's are the same book.......2000-06-22
There's a lot of confusion about the two versions of Color Harmony 2 because the difference seems to be the CD -- both versions credit Bride M. Whelan as author; the less expensive version doesn't come with the CD (which I haven't used).
The comments on color combinations have been helpful in convincing client/coworkers -- "but this is a Professional palette!" The book's palettes can be a useful starting place.
One caveat: written in 1994, the New Trends section is a bit dated, unfortunately.

Let's get the record straight........2006-07-21
I'm amazed by the bad reviews this book has gotten. I was absolutely enthralled w/it. Let's get this straight, everyone is looking for something different in a design book. Some ppl want to learn how to design on a budget; some people want some how-to knowledge; some ppl just want to look at pictures and formulate their own ideas about how to decorate and get a spark of creativity, or ideas. I myself was the kind of person who wanted some pictures & differently designed rooms to look at to get some creative ideas. And I was not disappointed. If I was wanting to learn decorating on a budget or JUST how-to stuff, I would have been. It just isn't that kind of book. After all, look at the title. It doesn't promise those things.
The book is a tad misleading because it doesn't really have 750 tips. For example, in the book in the fireplace section it gives tips on how to start a fire. Ok, not only does that have nothing to do w/design or decor, but the book uses several steps breaking down how to start a fire, each listed as one tip. Also it gives you some storage solutions. Great for packrats, but I have closets, clean them out regularly & get rid of stuff I don't use to make room for what I do use. Oh, and also in the home office decor section it gives you several tips when you are just moving into a house & setting up your home office, such as making sure that room is wired so you have enough power & whatnot. Has nothing to do w/decorating, plus is just common sense.
I agree that it has some rooms in the book that I would hate to live in or even stay the night in. :) But isn't this a lesson learned?? You learned what kind of things to avoid when you are decorating. I am sure there are plenty of ppl who like that kind of decor, otherwise it wouldn't be shown. Another reviewer talked about a horrid pink floral room that looked to be straight out the 80's. Some ppl really like that kind of room, esp if they're older & not as hip. It's almost like a "period room."
Wrapping up... the pictures are great, some of the tips are helpful. It would be a great book to pore over w/someone you are moving in w/so you can get an idea of what their taste is compared to yours. That's how I used it, and it was useful. It gave me some great ideas too. I recommend it and I look forward to looking at some other House Beautiful decorating books; this was my first.
More photos, less type.......2005-05-01
The photos lovely, as is the variety of design styles offered.
The small bits of info was rather pointless. Cut the little text bits and add more photos.
This is a nice book to have around and review often; studying the photos gives lots of style ideas, but I think you do need to look it over a number of times.
Mine was a library book, but if I found it on sale, I'd buy it.
Beautiful book..........2005-04-17
I had to double check that I had the same book as some of the other reviewers. In my edition, the photographs are quite lovely, with a couple of exceptions now that I've given it a much closer look. A couple reviewers comment about the overdone style of the rooms, but there are so many rooms, in so many different styles, it is hard to say something like that. There are definitely some floral-frilly rooms, and some rooms that are certainly not for those who harbor disgust for toile (I'm rather indifferent to it) . . . but there are just as many very sophisticated, simple, elegant, subdued rooms pictured as well. Perhaps that is what I like about the book-- there are so many different styles, that almost anyone could find something inspirational in it. French country is overrepresented, I admit, and from someone who is not too excited about shabby chic either, there are too many pictures of that for me. Some photographs reek of nouveau riche. But there are also colonial, modern country, modern eclectic and other styles well represented in some very pretty pictures. I agree strongly with the editorial review's point that someone looking for a "how-to" book will be disappointed. This book is all about the pictures (which I love), with tips spread throughout on sidebars. The entertaining or efficiency tips I could do without ("give old clothes to an organization"), but a lot of the decorating tips are interesting. As a serious Type A personality, I "flag" things of interest in books-- this book has so many flags I had to stop! From lovely little ideas like storing makeup in darling old silver cups to helpful advice like how to choose a frame for a period piece of art, I would describe this book in relation to a decorating "library," as the frosting on the cake . . . beautiful, and full of neat pieces of advice that don't make it into the substantive "how-to" decorating books. This book would not be the basis of your interior decorating library-- but is full of sweet solutions on the back end. **I am editing my review to add that, if I could I would change my review to 2 stars because I've only had the book a short time and the spine is falling apart-- cheap construction for a nice, expensive book that should be coffee table quality!**
Very Disappointed in House Beautiful.......2005-03-22
I am a House Beautiful (HB) magazine subscriber and think Mark Mayfield is an excellent editor of a great mag. This book however was a huge disappointment...the photo quality is really poor throughout the publication, and many of the rooms they depict look like they were taken in the eighties...lots of floral, poufy rooms with poor color quality...House Beautiful is much more modern and hip than the rooms displayed in this book. It was many of the 750 design tips that made me laugh...many of them really corny and obviously simple...that really turned me off. I wish I could get my money back...what a waste....Check out the POTTERY BARN design books...I own them all and thoroughly enjoy the colors, design, furniture position (not all PB furniture either)and narratives...
Great photos, lousy advice.......2004-02-11
This is a gorgeous coffee-table style books overflowing with fabulous photos of interiors. I say interiors rather than homes because it clear that no one could actually survive in any of these ornate, pristine, elegant, and rather stuffy rooms.
The "750 tips" are given in sidebars, and poor production has allowed that some of the tips are not on the same page as the photo to which they refer. This book also contradicts its own advice - frequently - as when it says to "always hang pictures 10" above seating" accompanied by a lovely photo of a sofa that is backed up directly against framed pictures. Or when they advise not using scatter pillows on chairs or stools, yet this is done throughout the text.
750 is a bit of an exageration - they break down "how to build a fire" into many small tips, counting each one.
Overall, a fairly useless book, but the photos are pretty. A nice gift for the billionaire on your list.
Customer Reviews:
A Color Me Beautiful Concept Applied For Women Of All Colors.......2006-07-15
I bought this book more than 10 years ago, and it is still relevant today. There are separate chapters for women of various ethnicities, along with color swatches you can actually use as makeup and wardrobe suggestions. I used this book and Women Of Color (a book written by Carole Jackson's disciple) to do makeup and wardrobe consultations for my clients when I worked at JC Penney and Sears in the 1990s. It was extremely valuable. Keep in mind that the style suggestions are a bit dated because the book was written long ago. However, you can still apply the color advice in a modern way.
Pretty, But Is It Useful?.......2003-03-13
This is beautiful, and multi-cultural; a visually lovely book. However, it's light on style and wardrobe-building, and not terribly useful to an individual. Caucasian, African-American, Asian, and Latinas are all presented here, in their multicolored splendor. If ever a self-help/beauty book could go on a coffee table, this would be it.
I am only giving this book 3 stars because of its limited usefulness to a single person. If you're an image consultant, it would be much more useful to you, because of its broad ethnic scope. I'd like to rate it higher because it's pretty, but pretty doesn't help you find your style and colors, does it? I do recommend it, and would confidently recommend it to a friend - as a library book.
First Fashion Step.......2000-06-18
If you want to get an amazing grip on your colors, this is the book. It covers all skin pigmentations so you need not fear that it will only work if you are white. My only negative comment to the book is about the advice on clothing styles. Ignore it. It is a small part of the book so no need to worry. The color work is beyond phenomenal and worth the book's price.

Book Description
An intimate portrait of two years on the eve of fame by a friend and collaborator of the Wailers.
In 1973 young artist and filmmaker Lee Jaffe met Bob Marley in New York City and within hours cemented a friendship that would see Jaffe becoming a "Wailer" right down (or up) to his dreadlocks.
While Marley was well known in Jamaica, he was little known in the rest of the world. Jaffe witnessed Marley's life and increasing fame during those years. He helped organize Marley's first American tour and played reggae with the Wailers throughout Jamaica. He learned Rastafarian ways. And he took wonderful, candid photographs of the many colorful characters who moved through Bob's world. This book, with the photographs and Jaffe's account of those exciting years, is a lens through which we have an intimate view of the young Marley. Jaffe's recollections of life with Marley are little diminished by time. Indeed, they are as colorful as the photographs, and as revealing. 120 four-color photographs.
Customer Reviews:
Great Tosh pictures.......2003-12-28
GREAT pictures of Peter Tosh and of course of Bob and the rest of the Wailers . I found the book to be a bit of an ego trip for the author to point himself out at every oportunity in the pictures that he was in haming up the shot as he always seem to be Bogarting .Some how Lee always looks even more disshevled than the rastas themselves. You cant become a rasta you have to be one from time begun and it is obvious the author got on board way down the line but kudos for getting onboard that train. Rare photos of Tosh for his debut solo album are the real prize here as are some rare shots of Bob . Worth buying just for cutting out pictures and framing them. Peace to Lee.
Mixed Reviews.......2003-07-10
Although I found some rare pictures of BOB in this book, I was rather suprised to see a lot of other pictures "frozen" from live video foootage from "Rebel Music". As a result there are many pictures with very poor quality. It appears that he filled out the book with any thing he could find. I have not finished reading the book yet, but I am not that impressed with the pictures, and secondly Lee Jaffe only know BOB for a couple of years. Unfortunately we "die hard" Marley fans buy anything with Marley on it. I give the book a C rating.
a must have.......2003-05-20
finally lee JAHfee puts out a book on Bob. a great book. sometimes you can almost feel like you are there with Bob and lee and the others. his recollection is top notch. roger steffens question are just the ones i hoped he would ask lee. the photos are amazing. precise and to the point. the large coffee table format is nice too. now we just need lee's book on tosh and joe higgs.
Peter Tosh and Bob Marley photos galore.......2003-05-04
"One Love" is great for two reasons: 1) the extremely rare pictures and 2) Lee Jaffe's chronicles of the Wailers personalities and experiences.
This book is chock full of extremely rare Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, and Bob Marley photos, most of which have only been seen by those close to Lee Jaffe. As an example, if you are reading this review, you are most likely aware of Peter Tosh's Legalize It album cover...you know, the one where he is sitting in a ganja field with his pipe. Contained within the pages of this glorious book are several pictures from the Legalize It photo shoot by Jaffe, who had a trigger happy finger, and Jaffe's impeccable memory allows for detailed captions of the photos in the book.
He also tells of his experiences with Bob Marley and crew, in response to Roger Steffens' probing questions. Jaffe has a lot to say and doesn't leave any details out. I bought the book for the pictures and was very satisfied with Jaffe's words. Through Jaffe we glean minute details about what life was like for the Wailers and crew prior to "bussing it" on the international music scene. He brings those experiences to life.
As a bonus, this book is attractively laid out with vibrant color schemes that are not too busy.

Facing a new home or upcoming remodel? Ah, a blank canvas that you can paint to reflect your singular personality and unique tastes. But what if you're not exactly sure what your tastes are? Yes/No Design will help you recognize your aesthetic attitudes and sensibilities.
An interior decorator and artist, author Diane Love understands that your home is your castle and that any castle's decor should jive with the personality of the reigning monarch. Using a list of adjectives, you evaluate your emotional reactions to a series of photographs. Be honest and you'll discover your true decorating sense (you do have one, no matter how buried it is), and there's no right or wrong. For example, I find the book-lined library cozy, comfortable, and unpretentious. You may think it's dark, cluttered, and predictable. We're both right! Through a series of exercises, you'll discover your decorating likes and dislikes. Do you prefer sophisticated and ornate? Casual and bohemian? Read about furniture styles, color combinations, and architecture, and then listen to your intuition--you'll be on your way to creating a personal space unique to you. Book Description
Acclaimed designer and artist Diane Love shows you how, in this beautifully photographed volume, to discover and define your personal taste, then demonstrates how to build a decor that is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and truly reflective of your personality.
Within the pages of this beautifully photographed book, acclaimed designer and artist Diane Love presents a truly innovative approach to interior design by equipping you with an understanding of your unique taste and the ability to use it to create your personal decorating style. Through easy, fully illustrated, step-by-step exercises and examples, she helps you to discover and define your taste, then demonstrates how you can use this knowledge to create a functional and aesthetic decor that is a true reflection of your personality.
PART I: WHAT IS YOUR TASTE? Seven exercises, comprised of simple activities and questions, and free of self-conscious personal evaluation, help you to better define and articulate your taste. The exercises begin by asking you to select from magazines rooms that you love (your YESs) and those you don't (your NOs), then they help you to find words to express your impressions about a room's decoration, to distinguish the common denominators always present in the rooms you choose, and to pinpoint your likes and dislikes through your reactions to elements of a room's design, from architectural elements to furnishings to the color palette.
PART II: EXERCISE YOUR TASTE Eleven methods taken in sequence explain the step-by-step process of decorating a room and show you how to incorporate what you have learned about your taste in Part I in order to create a decor that is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to you. Topics covered include: using space efficiently, evaluating architectural elements, renovating economically, making a furniture plan, achieving visual balance, arranging objects and pictures, choosing lighting, and working with mirrors.
QUESTIONNAIRE AND WORKBOOKS A questionnaire specially conceived to assist you in analyzing your decorating style enables you to track your aesthetic attitudes, reactions, and preferences. The two workbooks-one of which is separate from the book and easily portable.

Not only is this book intelligent, but it calls on the reader to find her own creativity. So often we are told what to like and where to buy it. While these things can be helpful, if what you really want is to express yourself in your surroundings, then Yes/No Design will lead you within to uncover and create.
Living in a consumer culture, it is easy to get out of touch with our own expressive sides, and I really like how Ms. Love encourages us to take that journey back to our most original selves. If you are willing to complete the exercises and look at them as a whole, what you can find is nothing short of your self.
I think Yes/No Design is a text on how to distill out the essence of design as an act of personal creation. Rather than paying Ms. Love to tell us what to like, we are gaining something far more valuable with the purchase of this book -- a guide to our own creativity which we can then use to decorate our homes and every other area of our lives.
most useful to novices.......2002-12-17
Unlike some of the other people who reviewed this book, I did not find the quiz to be helpful. However, the benefit of the quiz may depend upon how knowledgeable you are about interior decoration and/or how fixed you are in a particular style. The reviewers who seemed to be helped the most were novices. That is why I gave this book 2 stars instead of 1. On the other hand, I think the basic tips provided by this book have been covered better in other books, and the pictures are only so-so.
At one point the author says "listen to your intuition." That is what I suggest people do instead of buying this book.
However, if you don't yet trust yout intuition the following are some good books:
Color Your Home Beautiful: Ideas and Solutions
- It has beautiful photos, a variety of well-chosen color combinations in a variety of styles, dozens of color swatches, useful tips, and quotes from designers.
Ultimate Home Style Guide by Katherine Sorrell
- Almost all styles are represented here with enough details on colors, fabrics, and other style elements to create the look your self.
Better Homes & Gardens: New Remodeling Book
- Despite the fact that remodeling is in the title, this is a good basic book about interior design. I like it better than BH&G: New Decorating Book.
Beauty Comes From Within.......2002-01-22
Diane Love's "Yes/No Design" is a joy. It's a gift that I gave myself not knowing the profound effect it would have upon me.
Having had little or no faith in my aesthetic sense, "Yes/No Design" helped me trust my choices through the simple understanding of my likes and dislikes (for things such as colors, sizes, shapes, space, and patterns). The book is beautiful, thought-provoking, validating and inspiring. I realized I don't have to be an "expert" to create a lovely home.
"Yes/No Design" helped me get in touch with who I am, what I enjoy and appreciate, and what makes me comfortable. For me, decorating my home has become a metaphor for changing and improving my life and my attitude. Diane Love has shown me that beauty most definitely comes from within.
Decorating with confidence.......2001-04-12
After hearing Diane Love speak about her book at a book signing in San Francisco, I purchased one for each of my married daughters (3). This lovely volume offers guidance and information that allows the reader to better understand and trust his/her own taste. I can't think of a better gift for my girls.

Disappointed and Confused.......2004-08-18
Perhaps after reading Color Me Beautiful by Jackson I had unfair expectations, however, I feel that Ms. Pooser's work confused a previously workable system. She attempts to improve upon the concepts in the aforementioned work, but in doing so completely undermines the concepts that Color Me Beautiful are based on. What had previously been, to me, simple and effective became unwieldy and complicated. I recommend sticking to the original concepts and using one's own common sense about "bending" color rules. It should be common sense that there are some colors that could flatter a person that were omitted from preliminary lists-Pooser complicates that notion to the point that the advice is virtually useless.
The ONLY color me beautiful book I actually use!.......2003-04-19
After reading the other Color Me Beautiful books and trying to determine my "season," I stumbled across this one at a library book sale. While the others left me in the dark, and even my friends couldn't determine where a very pale, brownish/reddish/blondish with gray/green/blue eyes fit in, this book made me realize I am a Clear Spring.
The color patches are very useful, and I've finally realized why a person with my coloring looks so good in some Winter colors, but awful in others. This book is a blessing for any person having trouble with the season concept.
