Book Description
Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03
Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.
Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19
Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.
Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09
There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.
For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.
Very Interesting.......2007-03-07
It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.
History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10
Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.
I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.
Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.
Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.
I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.
This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

Download Description
As Robert Kiyosaki writes in Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the poor and the middle class work for their money, but the rich make money work for them. Now this phenomenally popular financial philosophy is explained in a style that's perfect for teenagers. Rich Dad, Poor Dad for Teens distills the principles of cash flow, assets and liabilities, saving and investing money, and how to find opportunities to "create money" by presenting these points in a voice and format geared toward younger readers. Best of all, Rich Dad's advice is accessible to all teens, no matter how "smart" or confident they feel about money. Parents and teachers seeking creative, accessible ways to teach "financial intelligence" to teens will also find this book a useful tool. More than ever, teens and parents are realizing that it's never too early to become financially literate, and this book gives them a means to get started.
Customer Reviews:
Great Book, but nothing too profound..........2007-09-28
I really enjoyed Rich Dad, Poor Dad (the original) and since I'm 17, I thought I'd read this book because it might be easier to understand and more applicable to me. It is that and really got me started thinking about my financial future etc... But most of his insight I had already read in Rich Dad, Poor Dad, but if you're a teen or pre-teen this is a good book to read if you want to get ideas on what you can do now to get a head start. The information is a little simplistic and vague, however, and I am now going to start reading Robert Kiyosaki's other books for adults. Most of the stuff he covered in this book I already knew or heard before to some extent, so no new info here, but it is a great read for teens that don't think about financial matters AT ALL, or for kids. If anything, it'll get you thinking. Great book! I recommend using a notebook to take notes during your reading of the book; it really helps!
Rich Dad, Poor Dad for Teens.......2007-08-31
My 12yr. old duaghter is really enjoying reading this book. As a businessperson and her father, I'm amazed at some of the questions that she's asking me due to reading the book. Well worth it!!
Our Eleven Year Old Loves This Book.......2007-08-09
Our son was already entreprenuerially minded, having started a car wash business when he was 9, but this book really galvanized him to think responsibly about money in a way that really excites him.
He has read it several times over, and we love that the book also offers reinforcement of what we already teach at home, concepts such as your life is greatly influenced by the company you keep and the thoughts you think.
Many adults will do well to read this.......2007-07-31
I read this and have bought copies to give to friends with teens - I wish this had been available when I was a teen and someone had the foresight to give it to me or my parents...
It is the same great material from Rich Dad Poor Dad in simplified format with some teen oriented exercises and journaling. Highly recommended to everyone age 13 and older. Also highly recommend the "Getting out of the Rat Race" which is a comic book format for younger people and also a great introduction to the material for all.
Buy this book and give it away! (Pay it forward)
Could Be Better.......2007-05-01
I am a teenager who had previously heard of his book for adults under the same name. I bought the teen one because it looked like it would be simpler and I felt I would learn better with the exercises. But I feel it was too simplistic and I wonder if I would have been better off getting the book for adults.
It is still useful but maybe what I was looking for was more information. This stuff felt too general talking about assets versus liabilities or good debt versus bad debt. Since I am still interested in the subject matter I will not give up.
I might try one of his adult books before I give up completely.
Book Description
The Wisdom of Wallace D. Wattles I - Including: The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Great & The Science of Being Well
The Science of Getting Rich
THIS book is pragmatical, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a treatise upon theories. It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached. It is expected that the reader will take the fundamental statements upon faith, just as he would take statements concerning a law of electrical action if they were promulgated by a Marconi or an Edison; and, taking the statements upon faith, that he will prove their truth by acting upon them without fear or hesitation. Every man or woman who does this will certainly get rich; for the science herein applied is an exact science, and failure is impossible. For the benefit, however, of those who wish to investigate philosophical theories and so secure a logical basis for faith, I will here cite certain authorities. The monistic theory of the universe the theory that One is All, and that All is One; That one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world -is of Hindu origin, and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of the western world for two hundred years. It is the foundation of all the Oriental philosophies, and of those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, and Emerson. The reader who would dig to the philosophical foundations of this is advised to read Hegel and Emerson for himself. In writing this book I have sacrificed all other considerations to plainness and simplicity of style, so that all might understand. The plan of action laid down therein was deduced from the conclusions of philosophy; it has been thoroughly tested, and bears the supreme test of practical experiment; it works. If you wish to know how the conclusions were arrived at, read the writings of the authors mentioned above; and if you wish to reap the fruits of their philosophies in actual practice, read this book and do exactly as it tells you to do.
The Science of Being Great
"... in Mr. Wattles' book, "THE SCIENCE OF BEING GREAT", you will get methods, plans, carefully outlined instruction, for the highest self-development and training for efficient living."
&
The Science of Being Well
If you are well this book will tell you how to keep so. If you are seeking better health this book is for you. _
Each book builds upon the previous one to construct a complete, simple, practical, easy-to-understand, step-by-step system for getting rich, being healthy, and becoming successful.

I have been involved in studying material of the general type contained in this book since the mid 1960's, and I've read a lot.Of them all this is absolutely the greatest book because it spells things out clearly and tells you exactly what to do to get t6he results you want in your life. This book is perfect! It's for everyone. Wattles was extremely smart! I am so glad that I own this book. It has so much in it about how to get the most out of life! It's about how to make the healthiest, richest, and greatest life for yourself! It's a must-own.
Science of Getting Rich, Great & Well.......2007-05-16
This trio of books - really more like long essays is a quick read. It is very interesting to see the beginnings of the current "Secret" craze in this early 1900's work. Some of the examples are antiquated due to the period during which it was written, but the basic tenets are very much in line with current abundance and prosperity works I have read. Editors notes help to explain some of the prevalent thinking at the time the books were written.

Customer Reviews:
Excellent work.......2007-09-16
This book is full of good ideas, also none of these are new. The author's excellent work in back testing all the ideas in this book deserves praise.
THE BOOK IS GOOD VALUE.
Great book. See examples of working mechanical systems........2007-01-14
This book takes 10 biases, explains their reasoning and gives quantitative back-up for how each does in a Tradestation simulated back-test. Art is a successful mechanical trader so you get a look into how he thinks and how he interprets the results. Each bias is relatively simple and demonstrated to have a small but definable edge across multiple markets.
The aspect to this book that is most interesting is how to integrate these various small biases into a master composite 'index'. As Bob Pardo writes in the Foreward section of this book "indexing can be very powerful... It can be a very effective way to 'summarize' large amounts of complex information."
I find that if I can take just 1 or 2 practical ideas from a book, it is a good book. This book did more than that -- it got me started on 'indexing' for individual stock lists and sparking new directions for me. I highly recommend this book to anyone -- but especially those with some kind of competence in quantitative methods to trading.
The title is misleading.......2006-11-26
I bought the book by mistake, please note that it is not a book on "futures" as in Forex but about stock trading systems. I found the book a bit boring with many setups that are all mechnical; this book might works for some but not for the discretionary traders...and if I ever hear another menacing words about fears and greeds just scare people into reading, I might as well close the book and throw it in the corner. All in all, this book might serves your purpose just like the 2 comments written above.
Maybe one of the best books of this type I've ever read. .......2006-11-22
It's interesting how simple Art Collins' systems are, and yet, if we can believe his results, they produce impressive profits anyway. There's no reason to doubt them: Art not only offers verbal assurances, he invites us to test against his results for ourselves. He fully discloses every necessary rule and formula along the way. Some of this book might be hard for neophytes to follow, but with a little work, there should be plenty within the text that's workable for everyone. Maybe one of the best books of this type I've ever read.
Real Life Advice.......2006-11-17
There are two things I love about this book. One, the author backs every
contention with historic performance summaries. How many investment books
do that-like maybe one in a thousand? Second, you just know the author's
expertise is genuine. Read Art Collins' daily commentaries for Elite Trader
and Tiger Shark, or any of his magazine articles. He earns his living
trading-he's therefore, unlike most self-appointed gurus, actually walking
the walk.
This is really exciting stuff! I've already started testing his ideas
on my own.

Along with sample commercials and script copy, the author gives advice on vocal exercises, on self-promotion, and on business matters, and this expanded edition includes new tips on making a demo CD; vocal modulation and breath techniques; advanced copy-reading techniques; and a section on how copywriters see the job of the voice artists they write for.

My Favorite Book on Voiceover.......2007-08-16
Elaine Clark is my guru. I have read this book a number of times since purchasing it in 2001, and I return to a number of specific passages when I need a refresher. Having worked steadily in this business for 20+ years, and having purchased many books on voice acting, I 've found "There's Money Where Your Mouth Is" to be my absolute favorite. The reader is taken from the basics to the multitude of details involved in running your own successful voice-over business.
Thanks to Elaine Clark, I have grown professionally as a voice actor, and enhanced my voice acting and copy interpretation skills.

If you are at all interested in VO, get this book. I read it cover to cover a year ago, and I've been cherry picking those areas that I've needed to focus on ever since. Now that I've marked up my copy at least three times and pages are starting to break loose of their binding, I'm ready to get an agent and start working. If your an actor or improvisor this book will help all areas of your artistic endeavors. The nuances & subtleties of speech are examined in great detail. The bottom line throughout this book is how to stop "acting" and be real. The market is hungry for every day real people. There's a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, pick it up.
Very helpful.......2005-10-24
This book is very helpful for those new to the industry. It contains information about putting your demo together, about getting an agent, and has sample copy to practice with, and tips for exercising your voice. I definitely reccomend this for anyone who is interested in trying this line of work for the first time.
Great book........2005-09-28
This book can be helpful for actors starting out. I have found that the actors I work with in my private practice need exercises to get them prepared for the biz.
A great book for novices and journeymen alike.......2004-04-19
I first read this book a couple of years ago when I was just toying with the idea of making VO a career. It is a bible for aspiring talents and established pros will also learn plenty as Elaine is a renowned casting director and producer as well as a successful talent.
It is an easy read but the exercises are anything but easy. The sample scripts are fabulous and the vocal warm-ups are helpful and something that all other books on VO are lacking. The marketing chapters are also well written and leave one with no illusion about talent alone being enough to make it in this highly competitive field. That's what makes this the best book on VO that I've read. It has everything. Did I say it had everything? Let's amend that - I'd like to see a chapter on equipment and technology though with the pace of change these days, it would probably be out of date before its printed.
If you have been thinking about a career in voice over, you are not serious if you don't buy this book.

Just Read It!.......2007-07-26
This book is easy to read, makes you laugh, teaches you how to write better and helps you raise more money. It just doesn't get any better any this. If you write anything to donors or prospective donors you should stop and read this first. You won't regret it.
All Fundraisers Can Benefit From This Book.......2007-06-18
For research purposes, I have more than 30,000 direct mail samples, countless annual reports, and hundreds of newsletters in my business library. And I'd say probably anywhere from 2 to 3% of them are really good (that means they raise a lot of money). They practice what Tom Ahern teaches you in his new book.
If you've ever had the opportunity to see Tom present - and he presents at many conferences around North America - then you'll know why you need this book. His way of thinking about donors, and what they want, will enable you to improve almost any donor-directed publication that you produce.
I strongly encourage anyone working for a nonprofit to buy this book - almost certainly it will improve the quality of the information you give to your donors, and the amount of money they give to you.
Like being in a candy shop with a pocketful of money.......2007-05-21
Two great things about Tom Ahern: 1) he writes in crisp, clear, jargon-free language, and 2) virtually every sentence contains advice or a tip I can actually use. In this straightforward but packed book, he taught me to always put myself in the donor's shoes when I'm writing, to never write anything that doesn't include an offer, to run like hell from "writing by committee", the emotional triggers that get people reaching for their wallets, and how to write great headlines and good copy. I'm not sure what else you can ask from a book that fits in your back pocket, reads deliciously the second and third time, and even apologizes for leaving out a chapter he'd call "Feeling Stupid". Feeling stupid is what you should feel if you don't order this book right after you finish this review.
Tom Ahern is the best!.......2007-04-22
You can find lots of stuff in print about writing fundraising materials -- but you won't find any book that's more squarely on point or more clearly and compellingly written. Tom Ahern is a master of writing for results. This superb new book is a must for anyone who writes to raise money.

Amazon should look into the suspicious previous review!!.......2006-08-13
It's not cool to promote your book at another authors expense.
You be the judge. Check out the "interesting" reviews of the Ty Cohen book the previous reviewer is promoting.
But to be promoting that book here is inapropriate at best.
almost stands up to the standards of ty cohen but not quite!.......2006-05-27

Average.......2006-05-19
Everyone wants at some point in life to be independent and the master of his own destiny and if your destiny is the music industry then you're in for a big surprise. The music industry is a secluded and closed world, hard to get in and even harder to keep from getting thrown out. Many small record companies have tried and failed at hitting it of with quality products just because they didn't know many things about this world. The book in question here is a very good Bible for those who don't know all about the music industry and want to refine their tactics or learn some new ones.
Great book.......2006-03-04
Very good and clear book the title states it all. Its a perfect guide for anyone who is trying to become a music publisher
