If you've ever wondered why the latest fad diet doesn't work for you... well, there are lots of reasons, mostly the fact that it's a fad diet. But it could also be that you're the wrong blood type for the kinds of foods the diet recommends. Peter D'Adamo makes a persuasive argument that your blood type is an evolutionary marker that tells you which foods you'll process best, and which will be useless calories. He covers the entire range for each of the four blood types, from entrées to condiments and seasonings, and also makes type-specific exercise and lifestyle recommendations.
Amazon.com Audiobook Review
This abridged audiobook introduces Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo's revolutionary approach to dieting based on the connection between blood type and health. Read by audio pro Polly Adams, D'Adamo's bestseller details how different foods affect specific blood types both positively and negatively. We learn that "pastas made from buckwheat are better tolerated for Type Os," and that type As should eliminate all meat from their diet to reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. Adams blends an efficient, no-nonsense delivery and warm tones that may remind some of a favorite talk-radio personality. And considering the important subject matter, listeners will appreciate all of these qualities. While some dieters may find the suggestions too progressive--it's recommended that women with a history of breast cancer in their family introduce snails into their diet--this is a beneficial three-hour investment for dieters seeking alternative nutritional plans. (Running time: three hours, two cassettes) --Cate Bick

Read by Polly Adams.
Customer Reviews:
Easy Read.......2007-09-05
I found this book to be a very easy read. It gives very simple straight forward explanations and rationale for the diet and it's theories. It further reads like an instruction manual and very clearly explains what foods are beneficial, neutral, or an avoid. Pretty straight forward, if it's beneficial eat it, if it's an avoid, avoid it. And if it's a neutral it has little significance either way, so you can eat it but don't make it a diet staple.
Great Way to Lose Weight -- Best for Type O.......2007-08-24
I have followed the guidelines in this book loosely for 2 weeks and have lost over 8 pounds. Which is a 20% of the weight I want to lose by December. I am type O which is the best type to be on this diet because it allows for a larger range of foods. Type O's should definately try this diet, and its not hard to follow. The Other blood types should try this as well, but food options are more restricted. So if you have a hard time avoiding certain foods this may not be for you.

Blood Type Diet is No More Than Silly Mumbo-Jumbo.......2007-07-30
In John Robbins new book, "Healthy At 100", he studies the Abkhasians of the Caucasus Mountains, the Vilcabambans of Ecuador and the Hunzans of Pakistan. These are probably the three healthiest populations in the world. None of them prepare special foods for different people of different blood types. Yet they are almost universally healthy and happy.
Weston Price traveled the world back in the 1930s and examined the healthiest tribes of people to be found. None of them prepared different foods for people of different blood types.
To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a single scientific study demonstrating that people of different blood types have different nutritional needs.
Blood type diets are nothing more than silly mumbo-jumbo. Why do people embrace this kind of dietary cult? I'm not sure. Maybe because people feel a need to be segmented and divided in some way. This is MY special blood type diet! I eat this and you shouldn't. Maybe people embrace this stuff because it helps rationalize decisions that they have already made.

Customer Reviews:
Well planned out.......2007-09-18
This book plans out your diet very easily and makes everything very blunt and easy to follow. I personally didn't stick to the diet because I began having bad stomach cramps, probably from such a drastic change, but if you're willing to try it, go for it. I know someone who saw fabulous results from it. So it's worth looking into.
Confusion!!.......2007-08-31
I just find it very confusing. I've been eating, what I thought, was very healthy for about the past 14 months and the book really contradicts most of what I've been told I was doing right!! Very confusing!
Not Too Profound.......2007-06-27
I did not have a profound experience utilizing this booklet and gave the booklet away after reading it. It's a skinny little booklet with a little information. In hindsight, I do not recommend this booklet. My recommendation is for the Atkin's book, New Diet Revolution, a great resource for eating healthy and is loaded with good practical information.
blood type o food , bev, supplemental list.......2007-06-13
Great to take on trips or just out to eat. It is also useful for those days your not feeling yourself and you need some remedies.
Diet book.......2007-06-10
This small in size large in content book is good to take along with you when you go food shopping. A lot of the foods I like, don't like me according to this book and I agree with 93% of this point of view. The book is a fast read and another good reference for you to consider while building your life time diet plan.

The Eat Right for Your Type Complete Blood Type Encyclopedia is an excellent reference tool. If you are serious about changing your lifestyle for the better, you won't want to pass up this book. It is an easy read with a lot of information. One of the best investments you will ever make.
does not work.......2007-08-05
Book was in great shape- fast service. Exemplary from the seller.
Content does not work, in fact, I gained 15 lbs while using it. Had to go to the complete opposite for my bloodtype!
Interesting and helpful.......2007-07-09
This book gives you a diferent perspective on how/what to eat based on your blood type.
( It's good to know your blood type before reading it :-)
It has been very helpful to me and my family.
EATING RIGHT .......2007-06-27
THIS WAS A VERY EDUCATIONAL BOOK. IT WAS RECOMMENDED BY MY DOCTOR. I THINK THAT THE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY OF THE BOOK IS GREATER THAN MANY PEOPLE WOULD ENJOY. IT REQUIRES MORE THAN A SINGLE READING TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS. IT ALSO RECOMMENDS A LOT OF HERBAL REMEDIES OF VARIOUS CONDITIONS WHICH COULD BE A LITTLE COST PROHIBITIVE. THE DIET GUIDE WAS SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW BUT REQUIRED THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD GRASP OF THE BOOK'S CONCEPTS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND WHY TO EXCLUDE FOODS FROM YOUR DIET. I ENJOYED THE BOOK AND WILL REREAD MUCH OF IT. I AM ALSO FOLLOWING MANY OF ITS GUIDELINES FOR EATING FOR MY BLOOD TYPE.
Life Turnaround.......2007-05-20
I have always played with supplements since being fasincated by Eat to Win by Robert Haas in the mid 1980's. I have bought B vitamins, niacin, vitamin C thanks to Linus Pauling and other supplements like guggilipids or nattokinease. I started going back to the health store trying to get my cholesterol in line and saw this book on the shelf in 2001. I didnt buy it until 2003 when I just got curious enough to grab it off the shelf after looking at it several times. I was totally stunned silly after reading it! I first had to find out my blood type. I was an type O and also found out that my brothers, father and cousins on my dad's side are Blood Type B's. Most of my friends were either A's or O's but not B's and some were A negative. This explained alot about my childhood and my life and not just my cholesterol. About a year later, I bought the secretor status kit and was floored to my knees again when I found out I was a non-secretor which is almost a handicap in life. I have made incredible health gains knowing this information and have done it on my own with research almost like the Incredible Hulk. Although I don't follow the diet now, I am on more advanced programs based on my own knowlegde; at the time it was incredible and the information invaluable. Its now become a joke that I wasnt a type B in my family and I will never be a secretor. Also you can make assumtions like my Grandma was B with a B recessive and my grandpa was an O and was a non-secretor also. They didn't even know it either because it wasn't invented yet! Therefore, based on logic I am a replica of my grandpa! And I also noticed that almost every girl who is an type A dates a type O guy and visa versa. Its like Pac Man with a pattern. All of this was concluded from this book!
The conclusions are logical assumptions based on the indisputable facts. Its helps when guessing what supplements to buy as well. For example, I do very well with whey based products based on a B heredity and ok with products like Spirulina a plant based product.

A Great Companion.......2007-09-05
If you follow the Blood Typing diet, this little pocket reference is indispensable when you go shopping or out to a restaurant. It's the 'Reader's Digest Condensed Version' of the teachings of the book series. If you can't remember whether a food is a beneficial, neutral, or avoid, you just whip out your little paperback and you're all set.
Blood Type B Food, Beverage and Supplemental Lists.......2007-05-14
The book was everything I expected. I'm very satisfied
Blood Type Diet.......2007-05-13
If you buy into the possibilities, it can be beneficial. Both my husband and I have felt better since trying to follow this. I can't say any real weight loss, but definitely feel much better!
Handy Reference for Purse.......2006-08-10
This booklet is a handy one to carry in my purse when grocery shoppiing. It provides lists of the foods I can eat which are good for my blood type.
Everything you ever wanted to know about your blood type.......2006-07-16
Not only did I learn where in world history my blood type "originated", but I also know now why a low-carb diet has been the best thing to ever happen to me. The low-carb lifestyle concentrates on eliminating certain foods from my diet, and those foods just so happen to be bad for me as a type O anyway! It's great! In the same vein, the reason low-carb did not work for my type-A husband is because the food we thought he was supposed to be eating was the same food that can be "poison" for his particular blood type. Problem solved! This book was very helpful to us both.
Average customer rating:
- at most a work of fiction
- Average age at death 61 for blood type A?
- The book of anxiety
- Definitely in favor of type "O"!

Book Description
The book content explains the direct link between ABO blood types of people and diet, disease, longevity, and compatibility. It explains what one`s blood reveals about the person, why some people within a family stay healthy and others do not, how to add 20 healthier years to one`s life, why certain common foods are considered poisonous, and how to lose body fat without starving. It also contains menus that are blood type specific per individual, refuting the one-for-all-diet philosophy.
Customer Reviews:
at most a work of fiction.......2007-03-11
In large bold print, the book quotes Albert Einstein as saying, "THE THEORY IS CORRECT ANYWAY." This simple quote serves as the foundation for Joseph Christiano and Steven Weissberg's theories in The Answer is in Your Bloodtype. This book was written to educate people about what their blood type can potentially translate into. The authors claim that knowing one's blood type is important for staying healthy, eating well, and having good relationships. The Answer is in Your Bloodtype, although "written by a renowned physician and an internationally known fitness expert," makes superfluous scientific claims without any strong evidence. The assertions that the authors make may seem to make sense, but when further analyzed, are nothing but pure pseudoscience.
The book begins with a thorough explanation of human blood groups. The analysis of the anthropological distribution of the four blood groups (A, B, AB, and O), their trends in diet and exercise, and various "interesting phenomen[a]" related to each blood group are presented in the first few chapters. For example, the authors note that "almost every" older smoker "tends to be Type O," a phenomenon that they give no scientific evidence to besides "what [their] research shows." The book continues by giving evidence of blood group on longevity, disease, and sexual compatibility. The book rounds off by providing "grocery lists" for each blood type and a seven-day menu for both active and inactive persons of each group.
It seems likely that the authors intended The Answer is in Your Bloodtype for people interested in improving their fitness and well-being. The book does indeed touch on various subjects that would pertain to this audience: nutrition, exercise, spiritual and social well-being, etc. It also gives suggestions for people in each group regarding what foods they should purchase and what foods they should avoid. The authors do a good job explaining the rudimentary aspects of nutrition science but the more complex areas are lacking evidence.
Although The Answer is in Your Bloodtype is presented as a scientific breakthrough, the book is full of individual case studies without a compilation of statistical data and analysis. The first appendix, for example, contains a list of research subjects. Whereas actual scientific case studies would be presented as statistics, the authors list their research as "Jose L., smokes heavily, tortured in Nicaraguan prison, age (67)." The authors seem to believe that a mundane list of worthless information will suffice for scientific evidence. Additionally, when data is presented it is usually followed by an extreme conclusion without any proof. For example, "In our research, we found individuals who were A2 by virtue of their muscle mass, but had to eat vegetarian to stay healthy. Those who did not follow a vegetarian diet invariably developed high blood pressure or heart disease." Logical flaws such as this are not uncommon in this book.
As a final note, the authors illustrate the validity of their research (as pertaining to personality) by listing a "small portion of the JFK, Jr. family tree." President Kennedy is used as, yet another, case study due to his blood type - "John Fitzgerald Kennedy is the only confirmed blood type AB president in the history of the United States." The authors go into great detail about President Kennedy's unique life, his personality, marriage, and the various people he met (as if one's blood type would predict who one will meet.) The information is mere fluff, an excuse at trying to give backing to their research. Yet, "in terms of The Theory of Compatibility, it is [all] explainable."
The Answer is in Your Bloodtype does a wonderful job at keeping a biochemist, such as myself, entertained. The heavy emphasis on believing the authors without any scientific proof renders this book at most as a work of fiction. Research linking one's blood type to health and personality does indeed exist. Publications regarding the scientific validity of the theory can be found from 1927. Dr. Weissberg and Joseph Christiano, however, do their utmost best to keep this information a secret. They end the book with yet another quote of Einstein: "God does not play dice with the universe" -- The Answer is in Your Bloodtype.
Average age at death 61 for blood type A?.......2004-06-25
Many people claim they lost weight on the blood type diet, but look more closely, regardless of your type. Eat lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, Essene bread instead of commecially prepared white or wheat, and stay away from sweets and processed foods. Common sense. I have relatives who were blood type A that died in their 80's and a few in their 90's, and some of them were smokers. Sorry, but I don't buy into the "fact" that type A's are guaranteed to die before 70 years of age unless they take extra special care of themselves. However, I do agree that A types are more prone to stress and anxiety than type O's and that A types have low stomach acid, since I'm type A and never took antacids a day in my life and I know numerous O's who munch on them like candy.
The book of anxiety.......2004-01-19
I read this book and it caused me more anxiety than it helped me. I am a type A and very negative things are said about the A bloodtype. Like one other reviewer said, this is like a doomsday book. No way will I ever read this type of book again! I think that the author should have been a little more sensitive.
Definitely in favor of type "O"!.......2003-06-24
Being a type "A" bloodtype, I found this book to be very dooms day for type "A". As a matter of fact, I do not beleive that this book had anything positive to say about type "A". Furthermore, my husband is a type "O" and we have a great relationship. This book neglects to point out that the oriential population is in fact the highest population of type "A"s in the world and happen to have a greater life span. Moreover, the research subjects for type "A"s over type "O"s leave a lot to be desired. Notice how most of the "A" subjects were heavy drinkers and smokers as opposed to the "O" subjects who died of "natural causes." Also, make note that there were a total of 5,000 people in their test group which is questionable in a world where the population grows by at least ten times that on a daily basis. Overall, I do plan on changing my eating habits but feel that the authors could have been more sensitive to "A" bloodtypes. I'm sure they were probably type "O"s.
Amazing research based on proprietary data.......2003-05-31
These guys have analyzed a unique data set of mortality tables segmented by different blood type. Their conclusion supported by the facts are that each bloodtype is associated with very specific vulnerabilities to various health condition. As a result, survival rates at different age are very different. Their analysis extends to nutrition, sexual temperament, and other individual characteristics associated with bloodtype. This is most interesting stuff.

The proof is in the pudding ..........2004-01-05
While I acknowledge the truth that opinions are like a-holes...everyone has one...and I honor the right of free expression, I think some folks don't know the difference between the two. Those who blast something they haven't even tried and claim to be scientists are actually hilarious to me.
What is science? It's considering as many of the variables as possible, forming a hypothesis, carefully testing with an open mind and accurately recording the results. Those who dismiss something they haven't even tried are not scientists, they are little closed-minded robots just spouting what they've been told. Science is discovery and discovery only happens when you are capable of saying "I don't know."
The correlation between blood types and different lifestyles is overwhelming in the anecdotal literature and the true scientists are working on compiling more information for further investigation.
The bottom line is very simple. Just try it with an open mind for a goodly amount of time -- a few months would be great, but most people notice changes in the first few weeks -- really follow the guidelines for your blood type -- at least 80%-90% -- keep a journal recording what you notice (again OPEN MIND!) and THEN form an opinion.
Unless you have the stuff to really conduct your own scientific experiment, in my book, your opinion has NO credence. If you've done a truly open-minded, whole-hearted experiment for yourself and it doesn't work for you, then your opinion has some merit and I'm willing to listen. But then I keep seeing over and over again the stories of those who did their experiment skeptically, even assuming it wouldn't help them, and then being amazed at how much it did help them.
I'm just starting my experiment and I'm complying between 95%-100%, which is very easy to do. So far I have pretty good energy, less allergic stuff and slightly better digestion, but I'm just one week into my experiment, and there are other factors that may be affecting the results. A longer trial will be necessary to get solid results. The jury is still out on the diet so I haven't formed an opinion one way or the other yet.
But, as you can undoubtedly tell, I sure do have an opinion about pseudo-scientists!!!
Is dieting an exact science?.......2002-06-20
I think the "blood type" lifestyle is one that does work. What I can say..... is that I have been "eating right for my type" for three years now; and have maintained my weight and never feel like I am "dieting." While pregnant, I followed this plan about 80% and after I delivered, I followed it 100%. I gained 52lbs. during pregnancy and within 14 weeks, I had lost it all!! I think with any diet, you have to find the one that works best for YOU. My immediate, and most of my extended family, follow this method and it apparently works for all of them, so scientific or not, we are maintaining fabulous results. Who said dieting was an exact science anyway?
Junk Science (1 star is as low as it goes).......2002-03-09
This idea that foods are "bad" for someone is not supportable with science. ANY food in great levels is "bad." NO food (That one is not allergic to) ia any worse than any other.
This is just a context of a person selling a book with an idea that is not supportable with science to gullable people. (Seems to be a common thing with the nutrition "experts" that all they do is make people afraid of something, then tell them to avoid it.)
Book Description
The ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine meets up-to-the-minute nutritional science in a clever, colorful guide to matching diet and body type.Marcia Zimmerman takes the mystery and complexity out of healthy eating and makes it simple. Eat Your Colors is a health and nutrition guide based on the idea that everyone fits into one of three body types. Identifying each type by a simple color -- red, yellow, or green -- Zimmerman provides a questionnaire to help readers determine their primary and complementary colors and explains which foods are best for which color types. For example, reds do very well on a vegetarian diet, yellows need some animal protein to feel their best, and greens will reap benefits from pungent foods and strong spices.Eat Your Colors is filled with information on such news-making topics as phytoestrogens, which can reduce the risk of breast and prostate cancer; lutein and zeaxonthin, which protect the eyes of computer users and prevent the common eye disorder macular degeneration; and anthocyanidins, which reduce inflammation in cases of chronic disease. And it offers practical, easy-to-follow advice on: --creating meal plans using the optimal foods for each color--using herbs, spices, sauces, and condiments to balance off-colors--discovering color weaknesses and combating them by eating the right foodsOffering a unique way of thinking about diet, Eat Your Colors will do for body type what Eat Right for Your Type did for blood type.

Body Type Book is Much Better.......2002-05-02
I've purchased and read them all.
This one was surprisingly the least informative.
I found it similar to the others, without clear foundation and thought.
I wouldn't purchase this book. The Body Type Book is a much better buy.
I'm loving 'eating my colors'.......2001-10-03
I'm loving 'eating my colors'. I'm red as can be and all my favorite foods are what I get to eat. I noticed a difference after the first week, more energy, better sleep, and I even lost 4 pounds without using any diet pills.
Thank you so much Marcia for writing this book. I will be buying several more copies and sending them to my friends for Birthday's and other gift ideas.]
And thank you for my better health.

This Physician Says: Buy Eat Your Colors and Read It.......2001-08-13
I am an experienced pediatrician with an interest in nutrition. This is one of the best books on the subject that I have ever read. I give it a five star rating. It includes an up to date summary of current nutrition research, much of which can be confusing. Fortunately, she is able to sort out and clarify much of the confusion. The author includes some great tables that I plan to use as a reference. For example, she has an informative table about the different kinds of rice, which turns out to be a very healthy grain. What I really liked was her fresh approach to the subject. Many nutrition books can be boring-this one is well written and interesting. I kept saying to myself, "How does she know so much about me and my habits?" There are very few foods that I don't like, but somehow she knew which ones and why. (hint: I discovered I was a "red" body type and they have many common characteristics). Complete the body type questionnaire for some fresh insights into your life and you'll see what I mean. In addition, I discovered some totally unexpected gems. For example, she has the best description of the causes of excess intestinal gas that I've ever read. She has great information about antioxidants, soy foods, cancer prevention and heart disease prevention including many useful tables. After reading this book I came away with a fresh approach to shopping, storing food, and eating. In addition, Marcia Zimmerman opened my mind to learning more about Ayurvedic medicine. She was able to relate a 5000 year old approach to medicine to the 21st century. When an author can not only teach me new information about diet and health, but also open my mind to new possibilities, she's pulled off quite a feat. I plan to recommend this book to my friends, patients and medical colleagues. It is a welcome addition to my personal library. I suggest you buy Eat Your Colors, read it, and see if you will also be motivated to change your diet-I certainly was.

Customer Reviews:
This has been the best thing since sliced (Ezekiel)bread!.......2002-10-31
I recently started the ER4YT lifestyle diet (I'm an O), and this book has been a delight. It not only provides over 120 recipes, but does so as a entertaining read, well-laid out , with background history about and cultural uses of the ingredients tucked in here and there amongst the recipes. It makes reading the whole book (and all the recipes) a pleasure.
The recipes are pretty quick and easy to make- a welcome feature for all of us busy folk!
Each recipe has the means of adapting the recipes for different types at the top of the text- allows me to quickly see which recipes I can use, and specifically how to make them usable. Most of the recipes are adaptable, so you don't feel like there are big chunks of unusable info here.
I highly recommend this book- enjoy!

Brilliant!.......2001-03-16
I've been meaning to pick up a copy of this book for a while. I always hesitated because I figured it would be just another one of those "diet books" that would end up collecting dust on my bookshelf. Not this book. This is any excellent book that actually makes eating better fun. The first thing you do is take a quiz which helps you figure out your main personality type + sub-types. You then follow an eating plan that works best for your personality. The amount of calories you can eat also depends on some various factors such as age, activity level, etc. and another small quiz is provided to help you to figure this out as well. I like how the author recognizes that we're all different. Some people need to eat mini-meals all day long where other folks need a diet made up of sensuous meals or gourmet type fare. Whatever your inclination, you will find a plan that will work for you in this book.
Wonderful book.......1999-07-21
I happened upon this book after my mom bought it and it's been one of the first pieces of comprehensive eating advice I've ever encountered. The author sets you up with tips for how to eat sensibly, and I've become a lot leaner since following her advice. The personality styles thing is a bit corny at first, but the approach is so gentle and effective that it's become my little food bible. Most importantly, the author enables you to make healthy eating second nature in a very enjoyable, uncontrived way.
THE BEST TOOL TO RE-TEACH YOURSELF HOW TO REALLY EAT........1999-02-09
I LOVE THIS BOOK. IT COMES WITH ''POP-OUTS'' THAT HAVE HELPED ME TO ACTUALLY SEE WHAT I'M PUTTING IN MY MOUTH. THE FIRST WEEK I USED THE "POP-OUTS", I FOUND I WAS EATING FROM 500-1000 CALORIES PER DAY(NO WONDER I WAS STEADILY GAINING WEIGHT!). I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW WE LET FOOD MANUFACTURES, RESTAURANTS, AND OURSELVES OVER- INDULGE BY EATING THE WRONG PORTIONS. I NO LONGER SUPERSIZE MY FOOD, AND I TAKE HOME AT LEAST TWO PORTIONS IN A DOGGIE BAG WHEN I EAT OUT. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO HAS FORGOTTEN WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO EAT THE CORRECT PORTIONS. THIS BOOK IS FILLED WITH EXCELLENT INSTRUCTIONS. TIPS, AND YUMMY RECIPES. BUY THE WAY, THE SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH WEEKS OF USING THE ''POP-OUTS'' (TO RETRAIN MY MIND TO EAT THE CORRECT PORTIONS) I LOST A TOTAL OF 15 POUNDS.
A very refreshing look at eater personalities!!.......1998-05-13
I found Carrie Latt Wiatt's book lastnight and had to pick it up. I am a sucker for any kind of diet plan or panacea. So I bought it and started to read it right away. Immediately, I felt a sense of relief in reading what I read on each of the different personalities of eaters. Mrs. Wiatt doesn't try to fit everyone into one category because she knows, from years of study, that everyone eats differently and therefore relates and uses food in different manners.
I do hope to be able to use the simple to follow plan she has formulated for my "food personality." Many people have been successful by following Carrie Latt Wiatt's advice and I am inspired to believe I will be successful too!!
I love this book and believe it will help relieve other people who get stressed out by their personal battles with food, weight, body image and the diets that don't work.
This is not a diet book. It is a book that deals with the heart of why we eat the way we do and re-directs our focus on HOW to eat for nourishment and rejuvenation, as well as, complete health and well-being. END
This book helped me to lose 55 pounds!.......1996-05-31
I've read many diet & nutrition books over the years, looking for help in overcoming my life-long battle with excess weight. This book finally did it for me!
While the eating program included in the book is similar to other healthy, low-fat diets, it was the REST of the book which got me inspired. Using a series of questionnaires, Wiatt guides the reader to an identification of his or her own "eating personality." The premise is that different personality types face different challenges to healthy eating, and need to structure their diets accordingly to succeed.
This book is fun to read, and quite compelling. I not only enjoyed the read, but I've also enjoyed putting the plan into action...the first diet I've ever been on that doesn't FEEL like a diet!
