A Gameplayer Review.......2007-09-24
DISCLAIMER: I do NOT (yet) own this book, but am submitting this review as a gamer who has just finished a long tabletop session in a hobby store.
I think I qualify as an Old School D&D gamer. I played Advanced D&D back in the early '80s. Within the past year, I've actively gotten my 11 year-old son involved in RPGA's Living Greyhawk. I initially played with him. I found the D&D d20 3.5 System clunkily complex, not clearly documented, and lacking sufficient in-line examples. Combat sessions that might have taken 20-30 minutes in AD&D, seem to take hours now. Arrgh. Similarly, d20 Modern (and d20 Future), suffer from the same over-complexity -- at least in my opinion.
When a group of adults my age invited me to a Star Wars gaming session using the latest rules release, I was hesitant. One of the group's founders brought an amazing Tatooine-like desert town diorama that had many jaw-dropping passerby clicking away with camera phones. But WOTC's great array of pre-painted Star Wars miniatures was a great game aid as well. Most importantly, the newly revised d20 system was a breath of fresh air: Character sheets were readily absorbable. The game mechanics and combat system felt nicely streamlined compared to D&D 3.5. And combat sessions, though still a little long, were not as grinding as what I experienced in D&D 3.5. Many current gamers feel that this Star Wars RPG version is a direct predecessor of D&D 4.0, already announced for release next June. Sounds like a step in the right direction. I'll be buying this book shortly!

Disappointing at best.......2007-09-21
I waited patiently for this book with high hopes. It was indeed a sad day when this book arrived into my hands. For every positive revision in the game, it brings forth two negative aspects.
The book is very short, and it shows with the content of the book itself. This book contains only the bare bones of the rules. It offers very little in the way of star ship stats or equipment. It has a Galactic Gazette that provides next to nothing in the way of real information about the planets. It provides a higher page count in the droid section than on any story based subject. The art work is simply a copy/paste job from the other editions. Its sad. The poor look and feel of the book, mixed with a rules revision that simply seems stale makes this book something to avoid.
It does seriously depower the jedi. While this doesn't bother me since I always felt that they were very unbalanced when compared to the other classes, many people may have a problem with that. The force system does make it more usable by all the classes, but just takes away the feel of what it is to use the force with its limited use.
One of my biggest problems with the game is its need to make everything miniature compatible. The entire time I'm reading this book I feel like I'm reading a thick miniatures rule book. Everything is in miniature scale and designed to work with a battle map. They even throw in several segments pushing the miniatures for use with the game and saying how great they are. A product plug if ever Ive seen one.If you a big into the miniatures game, great. If not, than don't bother with this book.
I could rant about this book for hours, going through every chapter page by page, but honestly the book is not worth reading through again. There is a reason that the price of the book has almost cut in half since the release. keep that in mind. I plan on saleing mine and hope I can get something out of it. Please read ALL the reviews before buying.Good luck.
An Excellent First Role Playing Game.......2007-08-31
There are plenty of reviews written by experienced role players for other experienced role players. If you want the perspective of a complete newcomer, read on.
Although I immensely enjoyed both versions of Knights of the Old Republic, I had never played a pen and paper role playing game until my brother-in-law introduced me to Dungeons & Dragons a few months ago. While I continue to enjoy D&D very much, after buying this book and gamemastering a couple games, I wish Star Wars Saga Edition had been my first introduction to role playing games.
First of all, character generation is very simple and flexible. One of my players had zero role playing experience of any kind. However, he said he wanted to play a character like Greedo, and we were able to easily come up with exactly what he wanted. We have a standard jedi in the party, but we also have a force-using noble and a very skilled pilot. In this game, you think about what kind of character you want then find the rules to support that kind of character, rather than seeing what kind of character the rules will allow you to build.
There are rules to cover anything you can think of to do or be from the movies, and there are explicit examples for many of them. For example, there is a stat block for the trash compactor from the Leia prison rescue scene, and there are feats to cover the scene where Darth Vader absorbs Han's blaster shots, then makes the gun fly into his hand.
For a gamemaster the simplified skill set adds to the element of surprise. My players were surveilling a building when I had them roll a perception check. They assumed it was to notice something about the building, but it was really to notice the rancor sneaking up behind them. They failed the check, but if they had succeeded, they would have noticed a bad smell and turned around. Having all the senses, including smell, rolled into the perception check is really fun.
Vehicles are another element that makes the game fun. Everything from a speeder bike to a star destroyer is represented. Vehicles enhance the dynamics of the game, and increase characters' capabilities. For example, that rancor attack was way above my party's level, but they had a fighting chance on speeder bikes.
My main complaint about the book is that some of the information is scattered, and the index is terrible. I ended up making my own index for my personal use.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who is just getting started with pen and paper role playing games. It's relatively easy to learn, and the possibilities are endless.
Star Wars Roleplaying Game.......2007-08-26
Wizards did a nice job updating this RPG to the d20 system. As a veteran player and gamemaster I appreciate clear, concise, and consistent formats. I was easily able to begin running a Star Wars campaign after playing AD&D for 20+ years.
Interesting ruleset.......2007-08-25
The quality of the book is top notch, though I'm not sure I'm excited about all the changes to the rules. Most are nice, but the reduction of complexity in the skill system is a bit of a disappointment. But still recommended for any fans of Star Wars RP.

Excellent, full color guide with lots of pictures........2007-03-14
Well illustrated and carefully thought out guide. I played the game through the first time without the guide but then bought and read the guide cover to cover before starting the game over again (in Free Play mode). Really added to my enjoyment the second time through. Helped me find things I simply missed the first time. Enjoyable read, especially for a game guide. Great screen captures and art work. Lots of nice extras.
Recommended.......2007-03-09
Good game guide, it's helpful, covering every chapter in full detail, history and free modes, even when sometimes it is not very clear it helps.
It misses some canister locations, among them, the most difficult to find, which is the one in the first chapter, but this is hidden in the elevator ramp behind the crane and it's accessed with one of the cars built in previous sections (attainable only in free mode)
It does not cover the locations for all the red bricks, this would help a lot.

Helpful.......2007-10-02
I wanted the one for the PC , but this one would have do just fine. very helpful
Brand New.......2007-09-15
The game guide was in excellent condition, brand new even though it was no longer in print, and the poster was in brand new condition as well. It arrived quickly and the family is now enjoying it!
Useful to children.......2007-08-25
While this strategy guide can come in handy when you can't do the math for the computer puzzles, it fails to give an accurate description of where and what do to and see. The character guides and information is weak and often useless. If you played through the game once, the guide offers no additional use in changing your gameplay.
KOTOR II (prima official game guide).......2007-02-20
great. tells you all the tip and take advantage of all the character.
Indispensible Guide........2006-02-22
This guide was a HUGE help for me while playing the game. It provides a walkthrough with tips on how to defeat tough opponents, a guide to all items, and information on how to gain/lose influence with your party members, and what conversation choices will affect your Force alignment. I found this review to be a great help, although it's definitely not a necessity.
Product Description
From starfighters to capital ships, Starship Battles presents authentic starship figures from across all eras of the Star Wars saga! This 40-figure series is introduced in Starter Sets containing two exclusive, non-randomized ships (the Super Star Destroyer Executor and the Mon Calamari Star Defender Viscount), 10 randomized figures with stat cards, a game map, a rulebook, and a set checklist. Supplement your Starship Battles campaigns with boosters packed with seven randomized figures.
Customer Reviews:
Great figures, mediocre game.......2006-12-15
Reviewer's note: I wrote a similar review for the starter set, so please excuse me if you see it twice. However, since I didn't know where most buyers would start, I figured it was best to provide the review under both the boosters and the starters to be safe. That said...
I'm a big fan of Star Wars minis (especially Rebel Storm), and I couldn't wait to get my starter and boosters for the new Star Wars Starship Battles minis game. Each booster comes with seven random ships (including one rare ship and one large ship). The game/set includes 60 different ships (30 "light side" and 30 "dark side" -- approximately 1/2 are from the original trilogy, and the other half are from the prequel). I have to admit, the ships look pretty cool (especially the smaller ones like the Millennium Falcon, Salve 1, TIE Fighters, TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber, B-Wings, X-Wings, Y-Wings, etc.), and as I first read the instructions and looked at the ship stats cards, I was looking very forward to playing. In the end (after playing several games with a friend), however, I was largely disappointed with the game itself. Though there are a few interesting twists (like the command effects),the game is pretty basic, and unfortunately does not allow much room for strategy and/or creativity.
The best advice I can give you is to begin with the starter set, which comes with everything you'll need to play (including two exclusive rare ships -- the big guns in the set, eight randomized common and uncommon ships, map, instructions, command cards, damage counters, D20, etc.). You MIGHT also want to buy a couple of boosters (each booster includes seven randomized ships -- one rare, two uncommon, and four common). This way your buy-in isn't too bad; otherwise, it can get very expensive very quickly. You'll definitely get at least a few good games out of it, and if you like the game more than I did, you can easily buy more boosters (that is much better than the alternative of buying a ton of boosters and not being very happy with the game). Also, if you are interested the minis themselves (i.e., to collect them, for use with the D20 role playing game, or to use with some other Star Wars game/scenario), you'll probably be mostly happy with what Wizards of the Coast came up with.
In sum, the game/rules gets 3 stars, and the minis get 4-5 stars (rounded up to a 4 star rating overall). Hope this helps!

Great Expansion Set... FULLY COMPATABLE with Previous Minis Sets.......2007-05-29
"Alliance and Empire" is the seventh expansion set for the Star Wars Miniatures game, which started with the Rebel Storm Starter set back in September, 2004 (see more about the minis game itself in my addendum below). This set was released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. As such, these figures have a special square bases with "Star Wars" written on the front. HOWEVER, THIS SET IS STILL FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE OTHER STAR WARS MINIS SETS. There are 60 different figures in this set. Each booster comes with seven durable, pre-painted minis (including one rare OR one very rare figure).
The first thing I look for in any expansion set are how many characters I recognize from the movies (vs. those that appeared only in the books). I am particularly interested in figures from the original trilogy, and I am happy to say that there are at least 40 figures from the original trilogy in this set. Most are interesting and/or more powerful variations of earlier figures (for example, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Jabba, Wampa, R2-D2 with C-3PO, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Imperial Governor Tarkin, three different versions of Han Solo, and three different versions of Luke Skywalker). But, some of the figures have never been released before (for example, Wicket the Ewok, Ewok Hang Glider, and Jawa on Ronto). Notably, there are even a few great new common and uncommon figures from the original trilogy in this set (for example, Death Star Trooper, Death Star Gunner, Rebel Commando Strike Leader, Talz Spy, and a variation of the Ewok with a bow -- rather than just melee attack).
The rest of the figures are either from the prequel, the books, or generic/minor characters (however, some of these characters are also very good -- especially for use in the Star Wars RPG).
In sum, this expansion set is excellent for those interested in the original trilogy, and fair for those interested in the prequel.
ADDENDUM: (Please note that I include this addendum at the end of all my Star Wars minis reviews, so if you've read it before, there is no need to read it again.) If you want to play the Star Wars minis game as it was designed to be played, it is best to have at least one starter (each starter comes with game instructions, a map, a D20, terrain tiles that are very helpful and add great variety to the game, and more). I like the Rebel Storm Starter the best because it's from the classic era/trilogy, but the Clone Strike and Revenge of the Sith starters from the newer movies will also work. If you don't want to invest in a starter, you can also get one of the three "Ultimate Missions" books, as each comes with a double sided map and a few smaller terrain tiles (again, I like the Rebel Strom Ultimate Missions book the best because it is also from the classic era/trilogy). Or, you can buy the "Attack on Endor" scenario pack, which comes with TWO double sided maps (in addition to a scaled AT-ST that is fully usable in play). The main point here is that you'll need some type of map/grid. If you don't want to buy a Star Wars one, generic ones are also available at most gaming stores (you can use your imagination to set the scene, or draw terrain with an erasable marker right on the grid). Of course, the minis are also useful for the roleplaying game (RPG) - in which case you may not need a starter or map, but will likely need the "Core Rulebook" instead. Finally, they are just fun to collect for those who like all things Star Wars!

Disorganized and Text-Heavy.......2007-02-08
I haven't used a ton of game guides in the past, but I've seen enough to know that this one is worthless in the grand scheme of things.
Negatives
- Too much time is spent on worthless content -
In the tradition of many other guides, we spend page after page meeting the characters. A table listing the characters would have been more than enough information--especially since the photos are grainy blown-up screenshots.
- Too Much and Too Little -
There's way too much text on every page, and the text is small. Many game guides you can just kind of glance at as you're playing for pointers--this one you have to actually *read* the paragraphs.
The text that's there is also too vague. There aren't precise descriptions or locations, just general descriptions of the level.
- Pictures -
Why on earth there aren't more screenshots is beyond me. Instead of screenshots, there's a line map of each level.
Summary: This guide appears VERY rushed out to accompany a game release. It's heavy on text and isn't really that helpful. I think it'll go back on the shelf and I'll resort to the FAQs at Gamefaqs instead. A real waste of my $$.
Not the best Prima guide..........2006-10-08
Normally, Prima guides are top-of-the-line. Normally, they provide everything you need in a concise and easily navigated form. Unfortunately, this guide isn't the norm.
The problem is simple- the actual "walkthrough" of the game is presented in straight text, with basically no indexes or tabs. Want to know when or how a specific character is unlocked? Good luck. The closest you'll get are tiny indicators of what characters star in each sub-chapter of the game (these charactes are always unlocked when completing that sub-chapter)- you'll have to page between sections trying to spy the location Story characters appear. And some characters have to be unlocked outside the normal game- there's not even a listing of who those characters are or what the unlocking requirements are.
The biggest reason I bought this Guide was because, to find 100% of the hidden items, you have to retrace your steps from Story Mode in what's called "Free Play". Some areas intentionally require certain characters' special abilities to reach, and these characters can only be accessed by unlocking them elsewhere in Story Mode then coming back and selecting them for Free Play. Long story short- the sub-chapter breakdowns don't even tell you what characters you'll need when you come back for Free Play except in small inserts dispersed through the normal text. If all you want to know it what two characters you need to select to get 100% of the secrets in a Free Play area- you'll have to read all the way through the text (again).
The guide is wonderfully illustrated. The maps are accurate and easy to read, and the narration of the game is thorough. You will unlock everything in the game if you have the patience to read and re-read this guide many times. But in the end, it might be much more reading than it needs to be. If you can find a free online guide (or even another companie's guide to this game!), stick with that. I just can't recommend this product very highly at all.
I Would Encourage You to Buy This Book.......2006-04-21
It has helped me accomplish the hardest levels that I tried to defeat. It tells me what is in other episodes, and it gives me good facts about the characters. It has helped me along the journey from Episode I to Episode III.
Fast, complete, satisfied.......2005-08-20
I was well pleased with my order, I needed it fast and it arrived much sooner than anticipated. Wonderful!
Book Description
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for having a good blaster at your side.
The galaxy is a dangerous place, and even the most capable heroes need the right equipment to get the job done. Outfitting for a rescue mission on a frigid ice planet differs from gearing up for an assault on a crime lord's jungle world headquarters. But with the right connections, and enough credits, heroes can acquire all the weapons and tools needed to survive any situation.
This sourcebook features:
• An arsenal of weapons and armor, along with rules for customizing and personalizing them.
• A wide variety of droids from across the galaxy, including the legendary R-Series astromech droids, binary load lifters, and the RA-7 "Death Star" droid.
• An array of vehicles from landspeeders to military walkers.
• Essential survival equipment, including breathers, comlinks, scanners, medpacs, and tools.
To use this sourcebook, you also need the
Star Wars Roleplaying Game Revised Core Rulebook.

StarWars Arms & Equipment Guide.......2005-09-15
This is a very useful volume filled with lots of information and ideas for gear. My GM has already used it to modify some of the ships in our game with information from the book. Thanks to that our survival percentage has just gone up. (I'm not thinking about how the danger quotient of the bad guys has gone up too.) ;-)
A must have for Players & GM.......2005-07-22
WEAPONS
The selection of weapons is HUGE (even adding more types than the RCRB has listed). Each weapon has WPs & break DCs (which I also like). Along with new rules on Customizing & personalizing weapons.
Species chip (a optional device for Sonic weapons) - which increases effectiveness against a selected species (a few species is listed, but a GM can add more if he/she wishes) - and they are pretty cheap too.
ARMOR
Vast selection of armor & protective gear. Also rules for non-human species.
DROIDS
All Astromech units are included (which are my favorite). They also have many, many more droid types & units listed.
VEHICLES
Rules on custimizing. A big selection including : airspeeders, swoops, speeder bikes, and many more.
Also for the STAR WARS fan who is familiar with Tatooine, this book also includes the popular "Sandcrawler".
OTHER
There's even a section on jetpacks & other devices that let you fly.
There are a lot more things in here (buy the book, I'm not telling you everything).
Not really worth the purchase.......2004-11-10
For SW fans who absolutely MUSt have every possible variation of weapon, speeder and droid available, then this book is a good purchase, however, nothing in this book is a vast improvement on what's in the core rules.
On the up side, there seems to be no redundancy in this book, meaning that if it's listed in the Core Rules, then it's not listed here. The downside being that you have to have both this book and the Core Rulebook handy for a complete list of items.
A MAJOR NEGATIVE is that there are no weapons/droids/vehicles/etc. tables for quick reference like there are in the core rulebook, which makes comparing items at a glance much more difficult (I got around tis by printing up a comparison table in excel).
Also, to my great dissapointment, there are not starfighters, cargo ships, etc. at all in this book. Only speeders, walkers, bikes, etc., none of which are all that impressive. Infact, save for the armor and possibly the droids, there's nothing impressive about this book at all.
I did, however, like the ability to customize and personalize weapons, armor and--to a limited extent--vehicles.
Some weapons have minor benefits here or there to the ones in the core rules, such as an increase in damage, but at the cost of range and/or accuracy. Spending more will not really get you a superior weapon (unless you personalize). Sorry folks.
I have a HUGE beef with the armor section. Armor lists the type, proficiency requires, cost, max dex bonus, speed, armor check penalty, weight, availability, era, and damage reduction, but not the DEFENSE BONUS the armor provides! WTF???
All in all this book could have been done MUCH better. I don't recommend it.
Finally a book that answers questions.......2003-07-03
Glad I bought this book. The Star Wars RPG left many questions about weapons and technology open. This book answers about 30% of those questions, which is a lot of material.
for added flavor.......2003-04-16
To add a better sense of diversity, this book is an awesome tool.
It give a greater depth to the technical players out there

All other guides should bow down to this one..........2007-06-04
This is, by far, the best guide you can have while playing Star Ocean. This guide is full of great tips and information that will help with every aspect of the game. There are detailed information on all the characters, monsters, weapons, Private Actions and much more.
If you're like me and don't like to go online looking for some help and want something that you can thumb through, this is the guide to get.
Very Good with great detail.......2007-03-09
The prima strategy guide is a must have for anyone who wants to pursue different endings for Star Ocean: The Second Story. I highly recommand for video gamers to play and beat the game first before they buy a strategy guide.
Exceptional guide.......2004-06-27
Prima unleashed probably one of the most voyeristic walkthroughs out there. Very little is held back, letting you in on almost every item, Public Action, town, major secret, boss stat, relationship factor and the most imporant one: how to pickpocket.
Okay, I'm joking on that last one, but to be honest, this is one of the best ones I've seen despite a few not-so-obvious spelling errors and a few (minor) mistaken facts. But other than that it is jam-packed and a worthy addition to your gaming needs. Too bad that the quality is only hindered by the flimsy material they used to make it, which really holds it back from a perfect score.
Prima, this is how every guide of yours should be.
Star Ocean: Second Story - The Official Strategy Guide.......2002-05-21
I used to own the game and this guide. You'll have to severely nit-pick this guide to find anything missing/incorrect. The only mistake I found was that a sword that Claude can make was omitted. I'll let you try and see if you can find out which one. You'll find better swords though, so don't worry about it. Completionists will still get it easy enough.
With all the things you can do in Star Ocean 2, I thought this guide would be full of holes. It wasn't. Prima did a job on this guide that far surpasses any work they have done before and since this game's release. I doubt that they or their competitors will ever surpass this kind of thurough research and quality.
A must for this game!.......2001-07-24
I had no idea how big this game was until I got this book. This is a very good guide, easy to understand and follow. Colorful maps and detailed item location. My only problem with this is in a few part (typically the ruins) the maps were a tiny bit hard to follow. A+++

Adequate, but disappointing.......2007-02-19
I am one of those completist gamers who likes to get everything available the first time through the game; therefore, a strategy guide is usually an absolute must for me. Unfortunately, there is a wide variation in quality, and this one leans pretty heavily towards the lower end of the spectrum. Don't get me wrong, it's still useful, but on the whole it feels sloppy and thrown-together, rather than comprehensive and helpful.
One of the things that really mars the presentation is how badly organized it is. The walkthroughs are relatively helpful, but oftentimes a crucial bit of information that was mentioned previously is left out, leaving you to flip back through trying to find it. Another problem is that the guide was apparently written for a beta version of the game - it talks about gameplay and story elements that aren't available in the game itself and leaves out others that are. Taken as a whole, it just feels like it was done in a hurry by someone who wasn't paying attention.
On the whole, the guide does work, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it - you can find much better-organized and more thorough collections of the same information for free online. It's far from unusable, though, so it'll work if you need to have something nearby for reference and don't own a laptop computer.
Prima's Strategy Guides.......2007-01-04
Despite the beliefs of others, I believe this guide is actually helpful. Of course, the guide is not going to pass the game for you, you have to do that yourself. More or less, this gives you an outline of what you need to do, you just have to be smart enough to comprehend what it is that they are telling you. All one should need when playing these games is to know the answers to the most difficult puzzles. If you cannot accomplish something on your own, then Knights of the Old Republic isn't for you, so look elsewhere.
Of course, with everything, there is also some faults, but then everything can't be perfect. The maps are helpful to guide you to where you need to go, especially on Dantooine. From what I've seen, there are times when the guides can be wrong. They also sometimes use pre-production graphics which you look forward to and then are let down. That is practically it.
One should look at these guides basically as outlines. For the most part, outlines help you learn and remember things, but they are not going to teach you everything on the subject. So learn to deal with what you've got.

Better Than The Others Say.......2006-05-19
Every time I looked in this guide it made me want to play it, but unfortunately I'm not very far. That's because my skills in this game aren't good. I did manage to get from the Vulker base to creating my own light saber. I do think you should get this cheat book. It helped me get through an area when I couldn't do it on my own (in the sewers on Teris). But above all, it's a good cheat book.

There’s more to the arms, artillery, and exotic equipment of the Star Wars galaxy than Jedi lightsabers and blasters. Species such as the tree-dwelling Wookiees, the amphibious Gungans, and the deadly Yuuzhan Vong have yielded a staggering array of unique weapons and devices. Star Wars for Children?.......2007-09-10
This book is good. There are plenty of pictures, sourcing for items and where the surface in the universe, even a fairly decent description of most of them. But it didn't have the technical specifications that you would expect from a Star Wars Manual. It was lacking in a lot of fine details, and seemed ti have been made just to gloss over everything and make it look good. Ok, but not great.
They Don't make them like they used too.......2007-08-29
Nice Diagrams, a few VERY good light saber comparison pages, nice description of companies that make the weaponry but mostly underwhelming with little information or obvious information on the actually weapons as well as very poor renders of the few that were rendered. I never got the original of this book but I did have the original Essential guide to vehicle's and vessels and it was MUCH better with no render only black and white artist sketches as well as more interesting diagrams.
A job well done........2007-06-15
I was extremely pleased with what I got when I purchased this guide. It gives a detailed description of the anatomy, history, and use of every item in Star Wars. This guide is broken into sections. These are ranged weapons, melee weapons, starship and planetary weapons, superweapons, defenses and armor, security, and other equitment. The ranged weapons section covers everything from the simple dart shooter to the lethal disruptor rifle. Melee is similar, and it gives many descriptions of Yuuzhan Vong melee weapons(ugh). Starship and planetary weapons section covers many things, and the superweapons section is a very interesting section. I value this guide over the Vehicles and Vessels guide. Its setup is more structured and organized. In the beginning of this guide you can find a Major Manufacterers guide. Ian Fullwood has done an excellent job illistrating this guide. You can see everything. I strongly reccomend this guide to anyone who likes Star Wars, and it really helped me get into Star Wars. A must-have.
Nice!.......2006-11-21
Tis book expands on the weapons/technology used in the Star Wars universe, not just what's seen in the movies but also what appears in the books. The artwork/pictures in the book have been updated, they have a more realistic look to them.
